Levi was wearing oven mittens when she reached over to grab her tray of uncooked candy corn cookies off the table. They weren't the same as her mothers, she thought, but sweet enough all the same. She'd finally begun to use her own dorm-grown crops as well, so the ghoul was excited to see the results of this batch. It wasn't very often Levi baked using the oven as her usual meals consisted of meat or anything on a stick roasted over the fire pit in her miniature kitchen area. Tucking the tray into the oven and closing the oven door behind it, she'd just begun to hum a tune in anticipation of her finished product. Whaddaya thinkin', Sweets? They'll be comin' out alright, eh? The candy corn treat fluttered its wings to suggest an enthusiastic outlook and it bounced happily on its fluffy bottom to Levi's hummed tune. Now both the ghoul and her treat were wriggling at the tune as cookies baked; just another day in the tatzel's dorm. She'd usually leave her door unlocked... and today was no exception. The monster dorm was home to many of her friends, but her purpose was to visit a certain ghoul who had sort of given her an open invitation to her room during the not-so-recent sleepover at Shehk's. Thus, dressed in an white moondress (sundress!), orange shoes and orange hair pins in her hair in an attempt to match the ghoul who clearly liked candycorn, she made her way to Levi's room.
While she would usually knock, she sort of wanted to surprise her new friend with her visit and thus, decided to try the door to see if it was locked. To her surprise, she could turn the doorknob all the way. Therefore, grinning happily, she inhaled deeply (is that cooking candycorn she can smell coming from behind the door?) and swung the door open.
"Surprise! Levi~"

Mid-shimmy. The door swung open while the tatzel ghoul was well into her dancing and mid-shimmy. Startled and abruptly pausing with her arms out and one knee popped, Levi had no words. She just started blankly into the doorway at first. It had not occurred to her that while she was used to people moving in and out of her home, her open dorm door would mean fellow students were able to see her odd enjoyment of dance.
Blinking, she registered the pink tone and things came together again in her head. L-Lizzy! Well, welcome - c'mon in screechheart! She actually gave a short nervous giggle as she sprung over to Lizzy, guiding her in with a hand on the demoness' back. Levi closed the door behind Lizzy...but apparently decided to leave it wide open, waving a hand at Popcorn to return to it's nest. Was just makin' a batch a' cookies. Think they'd fit yer fancy? Guiding Lizzy over to the sturdy wooden chairs and table by the oven, she politely gestured for the ghoul to have a seat. Anythin' ta drink? Soda Bug, Slug Juice, Mad Dr. Piper?
Flipping her loose hair over one shoulder, she opened her mini fridge for Lizzy to see what she had in stock to drink. It was the right thing to do as the hostess in the situation. She brushed at her jean shorts and white tanktop, still a bit unnerved. She didn't mind dancing infront of ghouls, really. It was the fact that it could've been a boil with a surprise attack that had her wheels turning at the sudden opening of the door. She felt relief that this was not the case and that she could still safely leave her door open for future visitors. Levi did enjoy it when friends would drop in. Lizzy just had amazing timing, it seemed.

She was surprised to see that the ghoul was dancing, but didn't think much of it since... Well, everyone has a hobby right? Perhaps apart from growing candy corn, Levi liked to dance? When she came over to receive her, Lizzy quickly slipped out of her shoes and giggled as she was ushered into the room.
"Ohh, is that where the delicious smell is coming from? I didn't know that you baked!" She smiled, peering at where the oven was as she took a seat, pushing in the chair before turning to look at Levi, "Just water please? I'm kind of thirsty and nothing quenches thirst quite like plain old water~" Her smile widened at the ghoul's hospitality, feeling right at home in her room despite it being her first time here.

Nodding, Levi closed the fridge and obliged by placing a tall transparent glass of water in front of Lizzy on the table. Theeere ya are. N'yep. Those're Ma's specialty candy corn cookies. Not quite how Ma'd make 'em but wanted ta give it a go with tha new crop just been picked. Shouldn't be too long. Don't wanna burn 'em....erm... only bake on 'accasion. Typically, ghouls of her town learned the domestic chores of family life early on and continued to take care of households through their lives. Levi, however, escaped these chores to go wrestle outside with the boils instead and learn more about fighting. Since she was somewhat of a mutant in her own town, they didn't terriby enforce things on her, so she did as she pleased. IT's not that Levi disliked baking or keeping her room tidy (she did!), she'd just rather be rough and tough.
Easing into a chair pulled opposite from Lizzy, she noticed the ghoul's attire. Lizzy was into clothing and fashion, that much the tatzel could tell. It was in her mind to pay Lizzy a compliment, but wasn't quite sure what to say Some mighty fine colors yer wearin', I see.
That was when the SkeeV turned on. A few color bars were visible on the screen and a droning beep was heard in a high pitch. Cottin' pickin'`! Standing again, she made her way over to the tube to yank out the cord. She huffed at its disobedience. Sorry 'bout that. she pattered back over to Lizzy to sit back in her seat, narrowing eyes back at the tube momentarily. Been meanin' ta learn ta work tha darned thing since tha sleepover. Feelin' like some high tech sorta fun... but that there thing... She let out a low mrewhissss which indicated her frustrations at attempting to make the SkeeV work properly.

"Oh? I've never learnt to bake... Maybe you can teach me one day!" She giggled, wriggling her toes happily at how lovely the cookies smelt; she might not bake, but she could appreciate the delicious smell of cookies being baked! It didn't surprise her that they were candy corn flavored cookies either; Levi must really like those!
"Why, thank you," She beamed at the ghoul, patting the orange hair clips in her hair, "I don't pull off these colors as well as you though!" It's the pink hair. Pink doesn't go with certain colors, after all!
Staring at the screen of the skelevision, she frowned before smiling sheepishly at Levi, "I could try to help...?" Standing up, she moved over to the piece of equipment, staring at the wires hooked up at the back and moving them around, making sure that everything was wired up correctly before taking a step back, plugging the cord back into its socket. She then dusted off her dress before gesturing for Levi to come over with a smile, "Try turning it on again~"

Most certainly! Can't teach ya much- but I'll give it a shot if ya like. Time n' place n' we'll git on it! She liked the idea of teaching someone something; made her feel smart.
As expected: Yep. Ghouly ghouls liked to be complimented on their wears. Levi did indeed have a preference for the candy corm color scheme, but that could be applied to anything; not just clothing. Not particularly one ta pull any colors... the attachment of herself to looking appealing in something was foreign.
When Lizzy offered to go back to the screen after she'd already pulled the cord out of the blasted thing, she cringed. Guess... I'll give it a go... She bent placing one hand on her knee and used the other to turn the knob into the ON position. There was static for a moment, but then a fuzzy image came on. Levi stared in amazement. What had Lizzy done that she hadn't?!
Well...I'll be gosh darned in a ditch... Giving the screen a good minute of staring, she then turned back to Lizzy. How'd ya figure that out?!

"Sounds like a plan!" She nodded, although Levi would have her work cut out for her, since Lizzy knew next to nothing about baking... Or cooking. She had seen her mother do both at some point in her life, but she had always preferred observing her mother sketching ideas for new clothing designs, cutting up pieces of fabric, sewing and putting all the pieces of a new dress or suit together rather than... Well, cooking or baking.
"Magic!" She raised her hands and wriggled her fingers before giggling softly, "You didn't insert the correct wires into the correct slots... I rearranged them so it should be fine now! Hmm... I've only ever set up my own skelevision though, might be good to ask someone to come check it, just in case it's not set up properly."
She wouldn't want Levi's skelevision to explode or break down!
"Oh! Mind if I call someone over?"

Wires. Cottin' pickin' sonova- hmm- I see thar. Feeling a little dim, she suddenly had to smirk at Lizzy's display of magic!fingers. This ghoul was always a picture to watch. Who really needed screens when there was real life entertainment like her. Levi didn't understand one bit about how Lizzy was able to decided properly which wires went where but she sure was glad Lizzy was able to make it work regardless.
Nother visitor friend 'a yours? ...sure! No worries, Lizzy. Call 'em up! The cookies should be done in time for any more visitors, she thought.

"Awesome! You'll get along with him for sure... He's an instructor in Fitness Club and a good friend!" She smiled, fishing out her eyephone from her handbag. Scrolling through her list of contacts, she soon found the one she was looking for and called him, bringing the phone to her ear.
"... Hello? Mr Jericho~" She giggled as she said that, "I need your help. Are you free at the moment?"Blade Kuroda "Oh hey Lizzy. Yeah, what's up?" "I'm actually at the Monster dorms now, at a friend's place! I kind of helped her fix her skelevision, buttt I'm not sure if I hooked up all the wires correctly... Since I really do not want it to go BOOM anytime soon, mind coming down to check it for me? Her room's on the third floor, just come towards the open door~"Blade Kuroda "Hm? Oh sure thing. I'll be right over." "Yay! Thanks, see you then!" She grinned before turning on her heels to walk towards the door, gesturing for Levi to stay, "Hang on~ Got to make sure that he gets the correct room!" She then proceeded to stand at the open door, phone in hand.

After getting the call, Jericho made his way towards the third floor to see where he needed to be. Once there, he glanced around, looking for the open door. It didn't take too long before he managed to pinpoint the place. Moving closer to see Lizzy at the entrance just confirmed it.
"Hey Lizzy," he greeted before turning to see Levi, the girl with the arm wrestling thing awhile back, "Oh, hey there Levi. Heard your SkeeV needed some help?"

As Lizzy made the call and gestured for Levi to stay in the room while she waited by the door, the tatzel made her way over to the oven. Putting a mit on, she checked on the cookies. Yep. They were done. Removing them off the rack, closing the oven door and placing the hot tray onto a dishpad on the table, Levi looked up to then see the guest. Hearing a boils voice, her ears twitched with familiarity as he greeted Lizzy. Well hey thar, Jericho! Thank ya kindly fer comin' by...didn't know ya were in this 'ere dorm...can I offer ya anythin'? Being in the mini kitchen, she hoped he'd gather she meant refreshments.
Being that he was there apon request from Lizzy, it wasn't the right time to challenge him outright for a physical battle... or question him about his dragon heritage. No, Lizzy asked him to check on that darn technology. Levi was thankful again that it was someone else trying to make the thing work... but she'd try to observe and learn out of sheer curiosity.
Yeah... danged screen givin' me 'a hassle. Never know how ta work these new age thingers. Think it'll be alright with tha wirin' as is?...

"Oh, you guys know each other?" Her smile widened as she ushered Jericho in, leaving the door open, since that's the way she had found it, "That makes things easier!"
She was rather surprised that they two of them had already met, though she didn't think much of it. She just led the dragon over to the now working skelevision, gesturing at the wires at the back before she turned the power off; wouldn't want Jericho to get feartrocuted by the machine!
She then turned to face Levi, her attention drawn towards the cookies she had pulled out of the oven, "Those smell great!" She was sure that they look and taste good too!

Stepping inside, Jericho waved to the tatzelwurm and nodded to Lizzy.
"Yeah, we met a little while back. She had this arm wrestling thing going on," the dragon grinned, "But yeah. I am a dragon after all! Can't really think of where else I would be."
Nodding once again, he followed the demon over towards the SkeeV, peeking towards the back where the wires were. This looked simple enough. Kneeling down by the device and looking over the back end some more to see what he could do.
"Well this shouldn't take long... I think," he said as he started to get to work. The dragon rewired a few things, then sat back.
"Alright.. let's see if that worked."

The fuzzy was gone. Promptly popping the cookies onto a plate still oven warm, she removed her mitt and scurried over to the SkeeV. She placed the dish on top of the damned screen Please, help yerselves! (Lizzy seemed to eye them and Levi had to smile)
...and then she dropped to the floor on her knees when she saw that the screen was fuzzless. No static.
Can't hardly believe ya'll!!! How 'in Jack's name... She actually tapped at the screen with a finger to test if it was going to fuzz out. Nope. Still clear and playing a show she obviously didn't recognize, but it had COLOR. This...this is amazin'... Jericho... how'd ya do it?! Crawling around to the back where Jericho was, she examined the wiring. Nothing was where she'd last put it. Not a one.
... heh... sure dun follow this stuff. If a can't whack tha thing ta make it work- This had been her usual plan for when her technology didn't work for her.
... anythin' good come outta havin' one 'a these? I mean- whats all tha fun about? Being her first time with a television (they had radios back home but nothing THIS fancy), she wasn't aware of the entertainment possibilities. Just that it could do that- entertain.
