With a great deal of help from Riley, Petro's battle-garb for Prom was coming along nicely. He'd finished polishing his arm and leg bracers, and his mom promised him his questionably non-traditional bahag would be ready in time. Thankfully, the matron did not forbid him from wearing clothing that his Clan would have considered unusual, given how Tro's skewed explanation of what Prom was made it sound like a trial rather than a party. And indeed, Tro didn't really consider Prom to be a party. At all. As Riley had not made it sound anything like a celebration or a festivity of any sort. Once he had that figured out then came the next order of business.

Namely, finding someone to escort to Prom.

The tikbalang wasn't going to attend without one. It was a trial to be survived by partners! And he couldn't think of anyone he could trust his back with other than a certain pink-haired demoness. He had made his way to the demon dorms but stood at the entrance like some sort of sentry in wait.

Dragain
Coincidentally, Lizzy was just leaving her dorms that night to do some shopping... For Prom. There was just something about formal events with dresses and suits that make her ridiculously happy, as long as it wasn't a stuffy 'Demons only' party like those she had been expected to attend in the past due to her mother's clients. Of course, the school's Scarentine Dance had taught her that not all formal (or semi-formal) events are stuffy; with the right people, it could end up being really fun and enjoyable.

And she was sure that with her friends there, she would have no problems 'having fun'.

Skipping down the stairs two steps at a time, she quickly reached the entrance. After running her fingers through her hair and patting down her skirt, she opened the door, walked out and...

"Petro?"

Huni Pi
Petro was prepared to wait for as long as it took. Which apparently wasn't that long as the ghoul he'd been waiting for stepped outside. "Ah! Lizzy, good to see y'," the monster horse flashed a brief but broad smile at the ghoul before the serious expression replaced it. He stood as if he was on a mission, squaring his shoulders back, and looking her straight in the eye to ask, "Would y' do me the honor of allowing me to escort y' to Prom?"

No beating around the bush. No pussyfooting around the issue. Tro went straight to the point. What? She had responded to his question on Groanspring about the appropriate attire for Prom. If she wasn't interested in the event she wouldn't have said anything, would she? Of course, if he had paid closer attention to her posts, he would have figured out she was already going with someone else.

Dragain
"What are you doing he-" Before she could finish asking, however, he turned all serious, causing Lizzy to tense up, wondering if there was something wrong. In fact, she was about to ask that when he stated his purpose. Immediately, she went from tensed up to relaxed, although there was a visible blush on her cheeks as she processed his question.

"O-oh no! The honor is mine, really!" She nodding; it is true! She does feel honored that he asked her since... Well, she never had anyone ask her out for anything really. After all, Petro, in her opinion, is a reliable person and a good friend - a good partner for Prom. However...

"I've already asked someone though, and he had agreed," She continued with a sheepish smile, twirling a lock of her hair nervously around her finger as she looked up at the boil, "So I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I can't accept... Um, I wish you luck in finding someone to go with though!"

Huni Pi
When the tikbalang heard Lizzy say she would be honored, Petro had all but ready to smile. In fact, he was in the very process of smiling when the demoness went on to add that she'd already asked someone else. And that someone else was smart enough to say yes to her request. "Oh." Needless to say, Tro's face was an awkward expression stuck somewhere between a smile and a disappointed grimace. His own shoulders had gone tense as his strange expression shifted to suspicion, "He anyone I know?" he asked.

Call him overprotective but Tro wanted to know who it was Lizzy considered worthy to escort her to Prom. Was this boil going to be good enough to protect her should there be a surprise test of strength? Well, he probably would be, otherwise Lizzy wouldn't have chosen the unknown boil, right?

Dragain
So, that was surprisingly heart-wrenching, to see Petro give her that expression, even if she knew that he didn't really mean to. In fact, she was about to give him a quick hug as an apology when she realized that he was asking her something about her date escort. She paused for a moment, unsure if they had met; after all, the recent open house had allowed her to meet many new faces. She wouldn't be surprised if Petro had gone and ran into Mot without her knowing during the event.

"Um... Do you know a Reaper by the name of Mot?" She asked, tiptoeing as she raised her hand, "He's about this tall. Okay, maybe taller-" She can't really reach that high, since she wasn't wearing any heels, "And wears a hat that looks like a cowboil's. He was at the open house, so you might have seen him?"

Huni Pi
Square-root brows knitted together as Tro tried to concentrate on the faces he'd seen during Open House. "'M turning up a blank," he admitted reluctantly, his hand awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. Sadly, no amount of focus would allow him to remember someone he'd never met. However, he would now be on the lookout for anyone fitting that description. What exactly was he going to do? Well, that was to be seen should Tro manage to run into Lizzy's escort (sorry, no, Tro isn't about to use the word Date) before Prom.

Despite his disappointment at what was his second rejection, the monster horse didn't want to make things difficult for Lizzy. "Guess y'r all set for Prom, huh?" His eyes tapered into slits as the corners of his mouth upturned into a grin.

Dragain
"Aw, you two probably missed each other then," She nodded, not quite sure if she should feel relieved since it would be more awkward if they had met. Probably anyway. If Lizzy knew, she would actually thank Petro for not using the word 'date', not that 'escort' was any better... Lizzy just hadn't realized it yet.

"Well, in a way, I am," She chuckled lightly, glad that he didn't look disappointed anymore... Not that his current expression was reassuring. In fact, she raised an eyebrow before speaking again, eyeing the boil, "But I promised a few ghouls to help them with their dresses and hair for that day, so I'm actually on my way to the Maul for some accessories."

Huni Pi
"Since 'm not gonna be able to escort y' to Prom, 's there anything else I can help y' with instead?" he asked. This mission of his was two-fold: One, make it up to Lizzy for not having asked her sooner (because if that boil she was going with wasn't up to snuff and she ended up getting hurt in whatever trials awaited them he'd never forgive himself). Two, it was also for intelligence gathering. Lizzy seemed just as knowledgeable about Prom as Riley. Well, when it came to the battle-garb from what he's hearing.

He blinked. "Hair? Y' mean even hair's gotta be made in a certain way?" he asked incredulously. Looking visibly distraught at the idea of someone touching his mane to arrange it in any fashion that wasn't its current form.

Dragain
"Help? Hmmm, well, I suppose if you don't mind shopping..." She paused, looking up at him, waiting for a reaction from the boil; she knew that most boils dislike shopping. Well, at least, that's what she had heard from others. She had never actually asked one to go shopping with her before; this would be her first, "I mean, I could always take a cab back, but if you're willing to help me carry things, I could save on those seeds and walk back to school instead."

She had no idea what was going on in Petro's mind, or she would have face palmed and tried to explain what Prom really is. Well, in her opinion anyway.

"Oh, no," She raised both hands before giggling, "It's just sort of an extra. You're heard about needing to wear formal wear to the event, right? It's to look neat. Same thing with hair... You don't really have to do much to it, but it should look neat so that it matches your formal wear!"

Huni Pi
Like most boils, Tro did not like shopping. He was by nature a hunter, and hunting involved knowing what you were looking for and some specifics as to how you went about getting said thing. Despite being given an out, Tro was a monster of his word and if he offered to accompany Lizzy on whatever errands she was on, then by Jack he would accompany her. Even if it meant subjecting himself to... shopping.

Besides, Tro's conscience wouldn't allow him to let her go alone after hearing she'd be carrying a lot of things afterwards. "Can carry y'r things for y' fine. Just," he suddenly looked quite embarrassed, "Just don't expect me to know if something looks good'r not unless 's already being worn." Basically, this was Petro's disclaimer of not having a grasp on the concept of fashion.

On the subject of hair, however, Tro was trying to calm himself down. His mane was the way it was because, well, it's always been like that. No matter how willing he was on pushing his bounderies when it came to tradition, no one, but NO ONE messed with the mane. Like his bahag, it was a non-negotiable. "'M gonna keep my mane like this."

Dragain
Petro would be glad to know that Lizzy does have a shopping list with her, and that the trip would probably be short, sweet and not at all painful. Well, as not painful as shopping with a ghoul can be; she might be distracted by things along the way though.

"Oh, don't worry about it," She beamed, glad that he didn't seem to be against the idea of shopping, "I've got it all covered... You might have to supply me with some manpower though. I didn't expect to get any help, so I think my shopping list just got longer~ I want to get everything done in one evening, if possible." She hopped down the remaining steps in front of the dorms so that she was now standing beside the boil.

At his comment, she looked up at his hair, examining it before nodding slowly, "I think your hair is fine. You keep it tied back anyway! Might have to... Comb it a bit though, before you go to prom, just in case." She flashed a thumbs up, "Other than that though, I don't see any problems with it!"

Huni Pi
Learning she wasn't going to ask him how such and such looked or if this and that matched made Petro feel relieved. Very relieved. Being told his mane was fine, and simply needed a little combing on the night itself? Tro was more than a little glad about that part. Stepping back, Tro got to his knee, a hand over his heart, and straightened back up in one fluid motion. "Lead the way, Lizzy." The monster horse would have no qualms about carrying several things for the pink-haired ghoul. After all the heavy lifting he'd been doing for a certain blue-haired banshee, how heavy could the spider demoness' purchases be?

Dragain
She was more than surprised when Petro did... Whatever it was that he did. She had always found the boil a gentleman, and that display only served to strengthen this thought. Her first reaction to that was to blush lightly (not intentional), bow briefly (also not intentional) before taking his arm. She had surprisingly gotten used to the idea of holding a boil's arm thanks to a certain island and reaper. However, she was fully aware of the fact that Petro was topless, which made her a little self-conscious.

She tried to ignore it though.

"They're mostly small accessories like bracelets, necklaces and hairpins," She explained, just so Petro would know what she will be looking at later, "But I promised Junko over Groanspring to get her some cloth. I actually wanted to go back to get it tomorrow, but I think you should be able to carry it... It's a little heavy, but I think it shouldn't be a problem for you!"

Huni Pi
Petro was, and will more than likely continue to be, unaware that Lizzy's discomfort in physical contact with him had less to do with his failure to protect her on the island and everything to do with his lack of clothing. Still, the fact that she didn't refuse his company for the important task of preparing for Prom made him feel much better about being turned down. He listened intently as she listed what she needed, his face scrunching as he remembered the clothing from the catalog Riley showed him. "A whole bolt? Y' and Junko's gonna be making y'r own clothes?" he sounded very impressed by this. While Tro liked making things with his hand, he wasn't too adept at sewing or weaving or things that required a more delicate touch.

"Y' sound like y' know a lot about Prom. Y' ever been to one before?" He asked. And so begins the intel-gathering on an event he has, so far, completely misinterpreted.

Dragain
"Yup! Or rather, one for Junko and two for me... I'm not expecting mine till next week though, unless they decided to send them together for some reason," She nodded with a grin, looking up at him before she giggled at how impressed he sounded; it made her feel rather proud, actually! While she didn't make most of the clothing she owns, those that she did make, she had been proud of, "I'm excited to see what Junko comes up with for Prom. She's a very talented seamstress from what I've seen!"

At Petro's next question, however, she offered him a sheepish smile followed by a shake of her head, "It's my first, but I've heard enough about it to know what it'll be like... Roughly anyway. These things follow a certain procedure, after all... It's just the prom theme that determines the program!"

Huni Pi
Tro whistled, that was a lot of cloth. Huh. Almost as if she was making one of the uncomfortable and unnecessarily restrictive suits. "Whatever she makes, we'll see at Prom, yeah?" And that was all Petro had to say about Junko and her sewing. Not that he had anything against the other ghoul but, uh, he wasn't familiar with her beyond Groanspring and seeing her with Seiji. "So there's more'n one type of Prom? And it changes on the theme?" See those ridges forming on the bridge of Tro's nose? That's the sign of him in deep thought, trying to unravel the mysteries of something he hadn't heard of before. Like Stakespear and Old Common. A certain celestial dragon would undoubtedly be very familiar with that particular expression Tro was currently displaying.

"Any word on what ours 's gonna be?" He did not sound very sure of himself but he did appear to be taking this entire affair very seriously. Perhaps more than necessary.

Dragain
"Yup!" She smiled before turning her attention back on the path ahead of them; it was a lot of cloth... In fact, she probably wouldn't be using all of them. The only reason she had placed an order for two bolts of cloth was because she needed two different colors for the dress she would be making for herself, and didn't have enough cloth in her dorm for it. Maybe she could donate whatever's left after to the FFF Club? Israfel would probably be happy about that, since things had been rather slow lately.

She raised an eyebrow at Petro; he was asking an awful lot of questions! Not that she minded, of course; she was more than happy to answer him, since it was a topic she was rather fond of, but it surprised her that he knew so little... Perhaps there was no such thing such as 'prom' where he came from? That would explain it.

"Basically, prom is a formal party where people are required to dress up in formal clothing for the night. This is normally accompanied with dancing, food and games," She nodded, deciding that it might be good to start explaining from the basics, "But the theme will probably decide the type of music, food and games of the prom... Uh, if I remember it correctly, I believe that this prom's theme has something to do with Oogie Boogie's Casino lair... Did you visit the prom booth during the open house by any chance?"

Huni Pi
Prom was a foreign concept back where he's from. Festivals and celebrations were handled differently in his Clan and something formal that involved uncomfortable garb as their formal wear was something Tro was fortunate enough to only encounter here at school. "Ah, didn't have the chance to drop by the Prom Booth. Been uh, preoccupied with these two ghost ghouls," he explained, his mouth suddenly pulling into a sheepish, and slightly embarrassed grin. Yes, he had to admit, despite the brief amount of time he'd spent with them, he found he liked the sisters. "They ain't attending the school though," he frowned (because he does not pout), clearly disappointed.

The trek to the Maul wasn't as long as he expected it would be. Probably because he was having a conversation and it made the journey faster. "If the theme's about casino's, 's that mean there's gonna be some gambling?" he smirked, wondering what sort of games and food and music that would be in line with that theme.

Dragain
"Oh? Two ghost ghouls?" She blinked, tilting her head before giggling softly at his obvious disappointment; that was kind of adorable! She patted the arm she was holding, "Well, did you exchange Squee-mail or Groanspring addresses with them, by any chance? You could always keep in contact with that! After all, if they attended open house, they must be potential students and might enroll one day... I met this undead unicorn I would love to have in the school as well..." Xiu was a student she had met at open house, and had enrolled almost immediately after, although she was sure most potential students weren't as lucky.

"Well, there was a roulette wheel at the prom booth," She chuckled lightly, "And they were giving out these poker chips to those who played and got lucky... I think you'll be able to cash them in for something during prom itself." They didn't say what though, which made Lizzy a little curious, "So I think that yes, there just might be gambling... Maybe not using seeds, but something else? We can only wait and see."

Once inside the Maul, she led Petro to a shop in a corner, an accessory shop that sold everything from bracelets to necklaces to earrings and hair pins; she peered in before looking up at her "escort" for the day, not sure if he would want to enter such a ghouly looking store, "Um, you can stay outside if you prefer!" She nodded before letting go of his arm and slipping into the store, the small bell located on the door ringing as she swung it open and grabbed a small basket on the way in.

Now to try and not be distracted by the shinnies.

Huni Pi
"Y-yeah, got masks and spikes on their arms," a hand absently brushed over the faint remnants of puncture wounds on his stomach, "And real neat tattoos too! Ain't a lot of students that got them, y' know?" If there were any other students with actual tattoos, the tikbalang hadn't seen them. "Didn't get to ask if they got groansprings or squee-mail accounts," and again the disappointment made itself visible on his face.

Though his expression was not particularly pleased, it didn't necessarily reflect his opinion on the rest of Lizzy's answer to his question. He wasn't opposed to gambling, it was one of the main reasons why he was at school, but Lizzy didn't need to know that. When he was given the offer to stay outside, Petro shook his head.

"I promised I'd help y' carry. Can't right do that if I ain't with y', can I?" he grinned, an arm stretching out to continue to hold the door open until she was completely inside. To say that Petro was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of accessories was an understatement, as he stood there in the doorway, brown eyes just staring at all the glittery things.

It took Lizzy nearly getting out of his sight to snap him back to reality and quickly but quietly follow after her.

"Shiney," he stated.

Dragain
"Spikes?" She asked, her gaze shifting to his stomach, noticing the wounds for the first time. She winced and was about to comment when he want on about them having 'real neat tattoos'; while she wasn't a fan of tattoos, she could still appreciate them, sort of, for the aesthetics, "Oh? They sound like fascinating ghouls! I don't think I know of any other student with tattoos... Aw, don't be so disappointed!" She nodded, "You'll see them again if its meant to be. New students are being accepted into the school all the time, after all!"

Lizzy giggled at his comment as she started grabbing and tossing into her basket what might seem to be random items to Petro, but were in fact on her (mental) shopping list; bracelets, brooches, ribbons, pins... Okay, so maybe some of those things might had been added to that list at the very last minute because they caught her eye, but at least she was determined not to spend too much time here!

And having Petro follow her around was helping.

"Shiny," She echoed with a giggle as she passed the nearly filled up basket to Petro, walking over to a small corner of the shop selling hats; since she had determined that her uh, partner for the prom was wearing a hat, she decided that she would too. She browsed the rack, staring at the various hats available with a thoughtful expression on her face. She had promised Petro she wouldn't ask him to help her decide what to buy, but that was getting a little difficult.

"Hmm, this is tough..." She muttered as she reached for a black hat near the top rack and realized that she couldn't quite reach it. Turning to look at the boil, she smiled sheepishly, "Um... Mind helping me get that?"

Huni Pi
All Tro could do was nod while Lizzy tried to comfort him about his missed opportunity in keeping in touch with the ghost sisters. True, new students were being accepted into the school almost every October but he couldn't help but fret that they would have forgotten all about him by the time they do get enrolled. He kept close to the spider demoness as she filled the basket with items, seemingly at random. Well, not entirely random, there did seem to be a sort of order, based on the items displayed on the aisles they were passing through.

Except all Tro could make of was shiny, shiny, not-so-shiny, lacy, gauzy, "Lots of shiny," he blinked with a quiet nod. When they arrived at the small corner of the shop, Tro glanced up at the rack of hats. Huh. That was a lot of hats. When asked for his help, Tro might have misunderstood what Lizzy meant in helping her get one.

"Pardon me," he began, suddenly shifting into his real form before kneeling down to pick Lizzy up in his arms so she was resting on his shoulder. This was not a ride. This was simply him providing a lift. Those things were different and if anyone insisted otherwise, they were going to get a hoof to the mouth. "'S this better?"

Dragain
"Hm, pardon you for wha--" Lizzy was too preoccupied with staring at the different hats to realize what exactly was happening until she felt someone pick her up. And put her down.

... She suddenly felt taller, but her feet were no longer touching the floor.

"Um..." She was at a loss for words, her face red as her toes curled up in her boots, feeling rather nervous all of a sudden as she looked down at the boil, now currently more... Horse than boil? She managed a nod and a soft 'thank you' before she turned her attention back to the hats, trying to ignore the many pairs of eyes that were no doubt staring at them at this very moment.

She reached out for the hat she had been eyeing, putting it on and staring into the mirror fixed at the nearby wall. Too much black... She frowned, putting it back, and grabbing another hat. Too small, too large, too shiny, too decorated, too plain... The process repeated itself until she came to a rather interesting looking hat that matched the color scheme of her currently work-in-progress dress. Putting it on, she tilted her head as she stared at her reflection in the mirror; it fit snugly on the top of her head and between her horns. While she liked it, there was something missing...

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted several feather head accessories on sale, and realized that the hat was missing feathers. At least, it would look better with feathers.

"Um, you can let me down now," She managed a smile at Petro as she removed the hat, holding it in her hands. Her face was still red from embarrassment and being carried in that manner, although he did sort of give her some warning, "Thank you."

Huni Pi
Lizzy wasn't yelling at him to put her down. That was a good sign. A very good sign that he'd interpreted her request correctly. She hadn't specified exactly which hat she wanted and figured they'd take more time if he kept getting her the wrong one. Patiently, he waited for her to make her decision, wordlessly watching as confusion grew on his part, unable to fathom what the pink-haired ghoul's criteria was for her decisions on which hat was or was not appropriate.

"That the one y' want?" he asked as he gently set her back down on the ground. He figured he could stay in his real form until they were done with shopping. After all, there was still those bolts of cloth he was supposed to help her carry. Might as well preempt the transformation, eh? "'S nothing, Lizzy," he assured her with a grin. Or at least with a horse's facial equivalent of a grin, with his ears twitching forward and his tail swishing lightly behind him.

Dragain
"I think so, yes," She nodded with a smile, walking over to the feathers accessories she had seen, running her finger along it as she picked two red ones up. Holding up the hat in one hand and the feathers in the other, she tried to imagine how the feathers would look on the hat before nodded, "Ohh, I think it'll work!"

Taking one last look around, she then proceeded over to the cashier with the hat and feather accessories in hand, putting them on the counter. As she fished for her wallet, she gestured for Petro to put down the basket of accessories on the counter; she was done here, as far as she could tell.

Paying for her purchase, she then took the bags and sheepishly smiled at Petro, holding them out, "Would you please?"

Huni Pi
The tikbalang boil continued to watch Lizzy quizzically, wondering what purpose the feather would serve to her garb. He supposed it could serve to poke someone's eye out or at least irritate their eyes enough to give them a needed blind-spot. He'd have to watch out for that in case he was pitted against her and her escort. At her request, he gave her a dutiful nod and wordlessly took the packages from her. "Where to next?" he asked, still in his real form as if anticipating that there would be a lot more things for him to carry.

Dragain
If Lizzy knew what Petro was thinking, she would have face palmed; instead, she was blissfully unaware of the boil's misconceptions regarding prom. She smiled when he took the bags without complain, kind of glad that he was there to help her carry whatever she was getting. Surprisingly, that one shop covered her whole shopping list (hm, perhaps it needed to be longer after all), so all that's left was the bolt of cloth she had promised Junko.

"To the post office," She smiled, feeling rather accomplished, given the short amount of time that they had been out, "That'll be our last stop for the day! I can't wait to see the fabric I ordered for Junko!" She was clearly excited, and had quickened her pace, weaving through the crowds in the Maul effortlessly as she made her way to the end of the Maul, where the post office was located.

"Oh! Speaking of clothing, didn't you say over groanspring that Riley was helping out with yours?" She looked up at Petro, "How's that coming along?"

Huni Pi
"The fabric y' got 's special order?" Petro asked, curious about what it could have been made of and what it was going to be made into. He snaked close behind the spider demoness, careful to keep his hooves from stepping on random strangers' feet. When she asked about his own formal wear, his ears flicked forward, "Momma's got my new bahag almost done. Said it needed something to keep it from being so boring," he spoke fondly of his mother, tone uncharacteristically soft. "Still gotta see Riley's tailor for the jacket. But 'm shining my bracers up right."

He wondered why the post office didn't deliver the cloth to the academy itself. Wouldn't that have been more convenient? Or did it mean extra cost? His muzzle curled into a frown at all the bureaucracy involved in something as simple as getting a delivery.

Dragain
"Yup, it's real silk, so I had to ask mother to help me get it from our shop's supplier. The designs on it are not hand painted though," She pouted before smiling sheepishly, "That would be way out of even my budget for getting materials..." Which spoke a lot about the cost of the fabric, actually; silk by itself cost a lot, after all, and if it weren't because she trusted Junko to make something wonderful out of it, she would never have gotten it for her. It all boiled down to her wanting to see a spectacular dress during prom.

Well, hopefully one of many spectacular dresses.

"Oh? Is your mother making it for you then?" She blinked, suddenly curious about the boil's family. At the mention of a jacket, she giggled softly; she had never seen Petro wearing more than what he usually wore, which... Was not much. She tried to imagine him in a formal jacket, and after a few seconds, nodded in what could be mild approval, "I'm looking forward to seeing you in it! I'm sure if it's Riley's tailor, he or she will do a great job!"

As they reached the post office, Lizzy went straight to the counter. After signing some papers, three long, heavy packages were placed on the counter; wrapped in brown paper, the only way to distinguish one from the other was the sticker on each of them.

"Three?"

"Yes, miss... The other two bolts of cloth came early."

"A-ah, I see... Alright, thank you."

She moved the packages to the end of the counter and started to carefully unwrap each other, inspecting the cloth to make sure that there were no mix-ups or damage to the material; to answer Petro's question, it would be easier to send the cloth back and ask for an exchange at the post office. If it was sent to the academy and the supplier made a mistake or the cloth was damaged, it would be troublesome for her to ask for an exchange... Better safe than sorry!

"I hope you're up for carrying three bolts," She smiled sheepishly at Petro as she wrapped the fabric up in the brown paper again, typing the paper up using a string so that the cloth would not be exposed while being transported, "They're not exactly light... I can carry the small bags from that accessory store if it'll help? If it's tricky, I'm fine with getting the post office to send them to school directly!" It would just mean a few days' delay.

Huni Pi
"Y'r family owns a shop of fabrics?" Huh. Tro didn't know that about Lizzy. It was his turn to realize he knew little about his friend's background and history. He ought to remedy that. Next time. Right now, he had to focus on getting her the things she came here for.

Tro didn't so much as blink when he learned that there were two extra bolts. It was easier for him to carry things in his real form. He did give a lightly offended snort and a wounded look at Lizzy's suggestion that he would find it too tricky. "Been doing a lotta lifting lately. 'M sure I can and I will carry y'r stuff for y'. Shinies and cloths," he huffed. And just to prove his point, he lowered the bags of accessories, hefted the bolts of fabric onto his shoulders (thank jack he was in his real form), and carefully knelt down to retrieve the bags. When he straightened back up (or as straight as he could while maintaining his balance), "Everything goes to y'r room, yeah?" he clarified with a cant of his head.

Dragain
"Ah, no," She chuckled lightly, "A boutique, selling clothes... I just asked mother to help me order some fabric from our supplier, since it's cheaper to buy in bulk and quality is almost guaranteed!" She smiled as the boil insisted on carrying everything, wondering if that was his pride talking. She didn't know the extent of his strength, so she was a little surprised when he actually managed it.

"Aw, sorry to have doubted you!" She smiled apologetically, having caught his wounded look from earlier. Giving a nod, she started towards the door, "Yup! It's time to head back to school." She would bring the silk to Junko's room personally later, and the accessories would need to be sorted out, but it had been a productive day! She smiled fondly at the boil, "Thanks Petro~ You've been a great help!"

"Anytime y' need me," he promised. The horse boil dutifully kept his pace beside Lizzy as they headed back to the school grounds. He'd never been in the demon dorms before, but he made sure to memorize the route that led to the spider demoness' room. Carefully, he lowered Lizzy's purchases down in her room, gave a bow at the waist to bid her farewell before he headed back to his own room.
