As always, Clara clung to the forest. Her ribbons and dress were as clean and pristine as always- Clara was not afraid to go to the two-leggers to keep up her appearance. She was vain in that way, though she would never admit to vanity. She wasn't vain! She was just... She took good care of herself. That was all. Really, you would be shocked by how many soquili let themselves go, manes getting all dirty and ratty.
Her lion-like tail lashed in an unfamiliar frustration. What was wrong with her? Was Clara feeling her age? Lately it felt as if maturity might finally be settling its mantle around her shoulders. She was no longer quite so dim witted, though Clara had liked feeling so pleasantly fuzzy all the time. She still loved everything... She simply did not have that same degree of trust. She had been alone for too long. Yes, that was it. She had been silly with how she spent her mind. This introspective, contemplative state wasn't like her. Clara was a soquili designed to spend time in the company of others.
How was her adoptive family doing? Well, not really adoptive, but Clara thought of them that way, and loved them all fiercely as only she could love- with purity, without lust, with only good intentions and good feelings. Maybe she should go look for them where she knew they sometimes were. So off Clara took. She whistled as she walked along, heedless of any danger, and soon she sang in her pure, sweet voice. It was sickening, really. How could one soquili be so naive, and so blissfully unaware of the world?

Her adoptive family had grown, by a single generation. It was one of the new generations members who heard her singing. He'd been out, walking and exploring, when he'd heard a voice, it was quite lovely. It was the sweet voice, and his curiosity, which drew him toward the voice as he called out, for the singers attention.
"Who is it who sings in such a lovely voice?" He called out, his golden eyes glancing around, hoping to see the owner of that voice. He knew he was close, he'd have to see them soon. The trees were less dense.((Sorry it sucks. Muse is ehhh, iffy, and it's not a soquili I've played yet.))

That voice sounded so familiar, but it didn't, all at the same time. Clara wrinkled her brow in confusion. Who could that possibly be? "Silvera?" she called out, singing stopping. She sounded as confused as she looked. Hopefully it wasn't someone playing a trick on her. Clara did not enjoy it when there were tricks at her expense.
Oh, it was Silvera! Clara first saw only his starry hide and his silvery-blue mane, and she moved through the bushes, confident it was her own friend. She hadn't seen him in so long. A reunion would be so good! She even saw his pearls on one leg. There was simply no way it could be anyone else.
Yet it quickly revealed itself to /not/ be Silvera. It looked a great deal like him, however, lacking only his horn, and with wings of a slightly different hue. They had to be relations, yet Clara knew that all of Silvera's siblings had a horn, didn't they? Then was this his cousin? The thought that it could be her old friend's son did not even cross her mind.
"I'm Clara," she trilled, rather melodically. This new stallion had golden eyes, and they were rather entrancing. Silvera was like that too. There was no doubt that they were somehow related.
"You look just like a good friend of mine, Silvera. Only I must not be so good of a friend. I haven't seen him in a long time. Are you related? Oh, you must think me very rude! But I have always been close with his family."
