WELCOME TO GAIA DCU FLASHPOINT

"Flashpoint is an American comic book limited series to be published by DC Comics from May 2011, forming the basis of a crossover event between several DC publications. This series is written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kubert.

The series details an altered DC Universe in which only Barry Allen seems to be aware of very significant differences between the regular timeline and the altered one, including Cyborg's place as the quintessential hero, Superman's apparent detention by the government, and a Thomas Wayne version of Batman who is "spending his days running Wayne Casinos."

If you haven't read the comics,You can go to many sources on the Internet, here is one
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashpoint_(comics)

Our Summer event is "Gaia DCU Flashpoint" Just like in DC Comics..History and the Timeline will be altered! Everyone will be required to alter the history of the avatars..Only in The Gaia Universe..The Dark Quintessence will rule the Universe,Cosmos...The Gaia DCU Dimension!!

Everyone will have the chance to do something different with their Character's History, just like DC Comics has done with the Flashpoint series..Heroes can become Villains and Villains can become Heroes!

As the details of the series are still being revealed in the actual comic series, we are still awaiting to see what changes can be implemented here..We do hope that people who are playing actual DC Comics characters will at least try and do some of what DC Comics has done with their characters..You don't have to do word for word copies of what they are doing but we do hope you try and do some of it..If you have not been reading the series,Please try seek out all online internet information that you can. If you have any questions about the series. I have been collecting it and can provide information if you need it.

For instance..My Own Avatar..Furious Styles Is NOT a Green Lantern anymore..The ring was never given to him by Ganthet as I have detailed with my personal Gaia history. However, there will be a twist to what happens before and after to when the Dark Quintessence alters History and in that time when DC Comics does it's full wide reboot of all their titles. I shall reveal how those changes in our own world will bring him back to his original Gaia roots, but that won't happen for a long while.

This is a Chance for everyone to start fresh for at least for a few months Until DC Comics does it's Official reboot of The DCU

For now, there will NOT be a Gaian Justice League at all..not while the World of Flashpoint is in effect..So the GJLA guild will still be up and running but we won't officially be the Gaian Justice League Of America. When DC Comics does release "Justice League #1" in September..then the Guild will be reformatted to fit the new release of the comic. We will still have personal role plays with in the guild and we will still have the Greater role plays for our community in the Heroes Of Justice VS. Villains Of Doom guild

We don't know if everyone will want to change their avatars history. So to make it much easier for you. I would advise you to just post a detailed small section on your profile histories to explain what changes have occurred to your character in the World Of Flashpoint. If you are collecting the series, then you should know of some of the changes that have occurred with many major DCU comics Characters.

We do hope You all like this Idea and hope you will want to participate.

For the sake of storyline purposes. Everyone will NOT remember the old Gaia world after it changes. Only a few chosen people will be picked to remember for Storyline and RP reasons so the storyline can proceed.

I myself shall alert those chosen to remember secretly! As to those who are chosen, You are to act your role and tell NO ONE you were chosen Until You are told to. This is so the story can proceed and move along appropriately.

In this world Of Gaia Flashpoint,You are free to reinterpret your characters how you desire, but you will still be bound to rules we have always set for our guilds. This means Don't do something Ludicrous with your avatars that makes no sense.

We shall make a detailed list of what changes have occurred on a wider scale, such as the Green Lantern Corps,The Justice League Of America,etc..etc..

We shall try to reflect many of the changes that DC Comics has done, such as

1.Emperor Aquaman and the sinking of Western Europe
2.Wonder Woman and The Amazons Claimed the United Kingdom as New Themyscria

and other things that have occurred such as Some Of DC Comics Miniseries

1.Whatever Happened to Gotham City?
(We believe our own "The White Duke" has something Planned for Gotham City and I am sure Dark Knight Crusader will as well)

2.Whatever Happened to the World’s Greatest Super Villains?
(If You Play a Villain from DC Comics, that has a major Storyline, please try and stick to it)

3.Whatever Happened to the Aliens?
(We are working on a twist to the Green Lantern Corps and In this series Hal Jordon Never Got a GL RIng Or Any Earthling for that matter,So we may or may not follow what they are doing in the Flashpoint series)

As for Superman,From reports received he is currently contained by the U.S. Government We believe)

4.Whatever Happened to Science & Magic?

Those are just some of the titles of miniseries that will be released. As more information comes out, that will help us determine how we can proceed on Gaia.

"When this does occur this September, then I shall relaunch the Gaian Justice League guild and everyone on Gaia should then be familiar with their prospective DC Comics Characters and how they should be play if they choose to continue to do so.

People with O.C's should be able to follow suite and do the same thing.
