(Scene-Ireland. A kingdom holding many villages of various races is at peace until a brand new race created by scientists invade and try to take over. They kill anything in their way, though they must be stopped. The creatures are a combination of werewolves/nekos and machines. All the villages of the kingdom are slowly grouping together as they realize they are under attack. In the beginning, all is at peace.)

Sebastian ran speedily past people, ignoring the yells behind him, slowly fading away. He lives in the villages of the light elves. Sebastian Rush has the powers of incredible speed and the element of earth. He loosely held a sack of stolen foods of various fruits. He was just too fast for them. He stopped running and became visible to everyone. That's just how fast he was, he was commonly mistaken for having invisibility. A girl elf walked by him and waved with a seductive stare. Sebastian winked at her and walked into his friend's butcher shop. It was the only place he was trusted not to steal at, so he wouldn't be shooed or kicked out. His friend, Boothe, swung his butcher knife onto the cutting board, making it stick upright. He wiped his hands on his blood-stained apron and made his way to Sebastian.

They sat together in separate chairs that faced the display window, though nothing was on display. Boothe chuckled. "For once my shop is getting looked at." he acknowledged the elvish girls staring and smiling at Sebastian. "Girls really like you in this town, eh?"
Sebastian smirked. He loved Boothe's russian accent. "Seems so." He took a ripe apple from the sack and tossed it to Boothe, then took one for himself and chomped onto it.

Selia walked into the butchers shop, and stopped short. "Is this the butchers?" She asked, uncertain. She just moved to this town, and was still finding her way around. "I'm sorry, I'm Selia. I just moved here." Selia said with a warm smile, extending a hand.

Sebastian quickly sat up in his rusty chair and lowered his half-eaten apple. Boothe stood and walked over to her. "Yes, this is the place. I'm Boothe, the owner and welcome to the village." his accent seemed to echo in the small shop. "What can I help you with today?" he asked politely as he held his hands together around his back. Sebastian stood and tossed the apple up and back into his hand.
"I'm Sebastian Rush. Pleasure to meet you." he bowed his head to her.
Boothe chuckled. "He's the greatest thief and ladies man in town."
Sebastian huffed. "And Boothe here is the only one with a hardcore russian accent and is known as a murderer."
Boothe glared at him. "You'll scare off my customer. Besides, the animals were already dead." Sebastian laughed and tossed the apple into his chair.

Selia laughed lightly. "I can see why you are a ladies man." She winked playfully and turned to Boothe. "Can I get a cut of elk if you have it?" Selia asked politely, her hair swishing in a curtain as she turned quickly. Seeing a candle unlit, she flicked the flames back to life and smiled.

Sebastian winked right back at her. Boothe's long, chubby arms swung out. "Are you kidding me? I have every meat!" his accent rose in excitement. "Rush, can you get it for me? It's in the back." Boothe said lazily.
Sebastian ran to the back and appeared in front of Selia in less than a second with a few large slices of elk meat. "Take your pick." Sebastian offered as he stretched his arms out for her to see the meat.
Boothe chuckled. "See why they call him Rush?" Boothe rubbed his beer belly.

Selia smiled as she picked her piece. "Yes I can see why you're called Rush." Smiling softly, she blew out the candle beside her. Blinking slowly and blushing lightly, she turned to Boothe. "Who hunts for you? I haven't been able to find work yet, and I'm a skilled archer..." Selia laughed with embarrassment at asking for a job. In her old kingdom, she was the princess, able to do whatever she pleased. But know, she was a commoner, a normal person. And she liked it that way.

Boothe smiled and only pointed at Sebastian.
"I do." Rush answered with a cocky smile. "He needs my agility. But it would be nice to have a partner. Boothe pays good."
Boothe ate tthe last bite of his apple and threw the core out the door for the birds. "Yet you still steal." he joked.
Sebastian let out a breathy laugh. "It's easier." he put the other meats in the back and came to the front again. "If you're available, Selia, we can start hunting now. I was just about to go into the forest." he offered.

Selia laughed. "That sound great. I'll go get my bow and quiver. Wait just a moment." Running out the door at the average speed of an elf, Selia was at her small home in less than a minute. Finding her weapons by her door, she quickly grabbed them and sped back to the butchery. The whole thing took only three minutes. Walking in, Selia tied her windblown hair back with a ribbon she took off her leg. "Ready to go?" Selia smiled widely, knowing they would never figure out she was a runaway. It pleased her knowing she would be able to pull off a new life, a new beginning. Stepping backwards out the door, she waved for Sebastian to follow. "I'll make sure he doesn't break any hearts Boothe!" Selia laughed as she walked to the other side of the street.

Boothe chuckled. "Alright, Selia. Go have fun, now." Boothe began cutting more meat.
Sebastian walked out with her and crossed the busy street. Eventually they came to the forest. "Since you're new, you need to know it's against our beliefs to kill unicorns. We believe that they protect us." Sebastian crouched as he walked through the forest. The sweet song of the elvish birds filled their ears. Sebastian almost blended in with the lush. Slowly, he took out his throwing knives. "Some of our customers like smaller animals, like squirrels, too." Sebastian said. He stayed alert and looked up in the giant elderly trees. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Sebastian looked at her as he spoke.

Selia followed Sebastian into the woods, running her fingers through her silky blonde ponytail. Taking her bow, she shoot a deer that was running through the brush. Smiling she turned to Sebastian. "We believe the trees protect us, but I will respect your customs." Touching the trunks of the trees Sebastian complimented. "The leaves are almost the same color as your eyes." Selia noted, not meaning to sound like she was interested in him, even though she was. Laying down against the tree, she loaded her bow. Aiming low, she shot a squirrel through the eye. "It never damages the meat, so it's value never decreases." Selia said, knowing not many shot their prey in such a specific target. She stood up and smiled at Sebastian, and took his hand to drag him deeper into the forest.

Sebastian smiled. "Trees to us are seekers. When a predator comes, they tell us. That's why we kept the forest here instead of adding on to our village. We're crowded, but we make it." He threw a knife at a opossum's tail and pinned it to the ground. He took his other dagger and carefully slit its throat. The he cleaned the knives with a rag in his pocket and put the opossum in a sack. He let Selia take him through the forest.
Suddenly the trees began to rustle loudly. He looked up at the trees and continued running.

Letting go of Sebastian's hand, Selia loaded her bow. Aiming at a deer as she sped past, she shot, hitting her target in the eye once again. Slowing down, she jogged back and stuffed it into her bag with the magpie and elk. "Is this enough?" She called to Sebastian, who was nowhere to be seen. Selia let her hair loose, and it tumbled down her back. Taking off her cloak, she revealed her tattoo of a crescent moon on her collar bone, the sign of her kingdoms royalty. Sighing, she loaded her bow once more and looked for more prey to hunt.

As Sebastian slowly walked closer to Selia, still looking at the trees, the rustling grew louder. His breathing got heavier. He heard a trotting sound, and looked to the source. It was a unicorn. He knelt down so he wouldn't scare it off. Sebastian watched it in amazement. The tree continued to rustle. Suddenly, the unicorn made a terrible screeching noise, and an arrow was in it's neck. "No!" Sebastian jumped up. "Selia! You.." when turning, he realized she didn't do it. He noticed the tattoo. "What's that?" he said with a tone of disgust. Then there were stomps and machine-sounding movements. There was a low growl off in the distance of the forest. The trees rustles louder. "The trees! It was warning us!" Sebastian grabbed Selia's wrist and pulled her with him as he ran, heading towards the village.

Selia heard the steps of machines before she saw Sebastian react. "It's nothi-" Selia was stunned as she flew past trees faster than she has ever sprinted. "What's happening?!" Selia screamed, not sure if it was necessary. A tree branch broke as an arrow flew past, missing Sebastian foot by inches. Selia's eyes looked up, wondering what race could shoot with such a distance and power. Elves were the best archers, but even they had their limits. The roar of machines and the growl and snarls of wolves surrounded them, making Selia run to help Sebastian.

Sebastian easily hopped over flying arrows. He noticed a green fog coming from them. "The arrows are poisonous!" he warned. He swooped Selia into his arms so it would be easier to run. Now he sprinted faster than ever.

Finally, he came to the village streets and stopped. He gently set her down. The village was still going about it's daily routine. The trees roared and the villagers seemed to notice. They stopped walking and looked up at them and into the forest. They pointed and talked in hushed tones. Sebastian turned towards the forest and suddenly the trees stopped. There was a moment of silence that seemed to last forever. But then suddenly a large neko in wolf form with a mechanic arm and legs burst from the trees and roared. The villagers screamed in fear.
