This is the island jungle that is the home of Tarzan. But after the disappearance of Sora and the others he disappeared as well. Now it's mainly a jungle filled with Heartless, Nobodies, and the natural wildlife of this world.

Mortimer sat in the shadows of a small cave waiting for a living soul to pass by so he can destroy its heart.

 After landing his ship, James stalked quietly through the jungle. He'd heard about jungles having snakes, jaguars, and bugs, but he wasn't afraid. When a snake passed by he merely ignored it. As he searched he looked carefully for any signs that a person had been there.

Suddenly a rabbit came by. Mortimer waited till it came a bit closer. The rabbit hopped a few times till it was at the edge of the shadows. Mortimer summoned his scythe and sliced through it destroying its heart. Slowly it began to morph into a Shadow. As it finished its transformation it melted into the ground and hurried off into the jungle.

Hearing something behind him, with a swift movement he cut through the shadow with his sword. Then he sheathed it again soundlessly and kept walking. A smirk came onto his face when he saw a cigarette butt and ashes on the jungle floor. Someone had been through here.

Mortimer had seen a man cut into some nearby shadows. He melted into the darkness and moved around to see who it was. As he traveled he noticed a hooded man walking through the jungle. 'Hmm. This guy seems interesting. I think I'll follow him for a bit.'

As he went deeper into the jungle he had a feeling he was being watched. It tugged at his senses a bit, yet he kept going. He'd keep his guard up and act like nothing happened. A few minutes later he came across a tent that was open. Quicker than you could blink, he'd slain the man inside and shook his blade clean of the blood before sheathing it again.
Then he left the area. After a good while he came to a clearing. With a smirk he asked "How long do you intend to keep following me?"

Mortimer came out of the shadows behind the strange man. "Just until you bore me." Mortimer smiled an evil smile.

With a loud laugh he threw his head back. Then he switched their positions hand held a knife at Mortimer's neck. "Well then...shall I entertain you?"

James smirked before licking Mortimer's ear. "Dunno...It depends on what kind of audience you are..." With a chuckle he waited to see what the man's reaction would be. It was fun messing with people.

Mortimer smirked as the man liked his ear. "Shouldn't have done that." Mortimer began to laugh and he pushed himself into the knife. He pushed harder and harder. The harder he pushed the more he laughed as the knife dug into his neck. But instead of blood pouring out clouds of smoke began to eat at the knife.

Under his black bangs his eyes widened a bit. Not only was this man laughing and pushing himself onto the knife, instead of blood there were wisps of shadow. They were eating away at the knife as well. Keeping on a plain face he dropped the knife and backed away. Just what is this guy?
If he didn't have blood running through his veins, then how would he kill him if it came to it? For now he decided he would try to get some answers to satisfy his curiosity. "Who and what are you?" he asked in a serious tone.

As the knife fell to the ground the wound in his neck began to heal itself completely. "I am the keeper of darkness and shadow. I am born from the Door of Darkness itself. I have lived for centuries to create darkness in every living thing. I am the destroyer of hearts." Mortimer pause for a second and looked deep into this mans eyes. "I am Mortimer. Killer of light."
