ASTRONOMY!
At hogwarts: Astronomy is the only field of study at Hogwarts that has a direct equivalent in the Muggle world. Astronomy classes take place in the Astronomy Tower, the tallest tower in Hogwarts, and are taught by Professor Aurora Sinistra. Lessons involve observations of the night skies with telescopes. No astronomy lessons are shown in the books, but plenty of references to them. However, Rowling describes one of Harry's Astronomy exams in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Known student homework activities include learning the names of stars, constellations and planets, and their location, movements, and environments.

Rules
1. No talking while I’m talking.
2. No bringing food into the tower.
3. No casting spells unapproved by me.
4. No playing with or breaking the equipment.
5. No touching the rails of or leaning out of the tower.
6. No bullying, harassing, teasing, or in any way belittling fellow students.
7. Follow all Gaia ToS and Guild Rules.
8. Take any grade I give you with dignity.
9. Rules are subject to change at any time.
10. Violating or failing to recognize any of these rules will result in an automatic ten point house reduction for the first offense, an automatic detention for the second offense, and an automatic flunk out of the tower for the third offense. I do not like repeating myself any more than I like repeat-offenders.

Lesson Plan/Schedule
Since we meet only once a week, an entire week real-time counts as one class rp-time. Class starts every Monday at Midnight British Summer Time (look it up) and ends Friday at Midnight BST. You then have Saturday and Sunday to do your homework and then you turn it in Monday. Failure to show up with the assignment will result in a T for homework and/or attendance. Three T’s result in a flunk out of the tower.
I will go over the a more detailed schedule once class is underway.

Al walked into class and put her books down on her desk. She was really excited to learn about Astronomy, she'd always loved this class more than some of the other dull subjects she had to take if she wanted to become an Unspeakable. But this was one necessary class that she didn't really mind.
"Hello, Professor!" She said cheerfully, taking her seat. She was the first one here, so she waited patiently, twidiling her thumbs.

Fionna was really excited. She was going to Astronomy which was her favorite class to take. It had been ever since she started Hogwarts. It was a connection to her mother that had helped them bond over the years. he had her mother's old telescope which was gold and beautiful. It had been a wedding gift from her father to her mother. SHe smiled as she thought about it.
Fionna entered the tower ready for class. She saw the professor and Al already here. Finally, she wasn't first to class although for Astronomy she would not have minded. She walked in with a little bounce to her step reflecting her happy mood. "Good Evening Professor. Hey Al." She said to the two already here before setting down her bag.

Ghaleon made his way up the tower, he'd forgotten just how many steps there were over the summer, thankful as usual that there wasn't much needed to be brought up to the class.
He soon spotted a few people already present, and promptly greeted the Proffessor "Hello Professor" before looking around to get used to the surroundings again.

"Hi Fionna!" Al said happily, unpacking the last book from her bag. She didn't know this new teacher at all yet, so resolved to remain quiet except for greetings. Though a good student, she could get rather chatty sometimes and wsn't sure if she's get into loads of trouble here or not. She'd hate to lose Gryffindor any points in her first week back at school. Even her last week back, for that matter. It was tempting to ask Fionna about Quidditch tryouts, she was eager but really nervous. No spots were garunteed, so what if someone better came along this year, regardless of how much practice she did this summer?

Professor Lee looked up from the book she had been reading. She was leaning against the podium with one elbow, her fingers twirling her hair absent-mindedly. It had taken a while to realize anyone had spoken to her, or that her neck was now sore from bending down to look at the pages, and the annoyance of it showed on her face. "Hello class."
Noticing its size, she looked over the roll sheet. "Are you all that's here?"
