It was a nice, summer day outside and everyone was taking advantage of it, it seemed. Fortunately, most went after the open beaches and water parks than the park, leaving it free of crowds of children. Seth, happy for the quiet, took up residence on a swing quietly rocking back and forth. It was difficult to actually swing without a helpful push now and again, so he had to settle. He didn't mind the quiet or the fact that he couldn't swing so long as the drama of home stayed far away from him.
Using his tail, the naga moved back and forth with his lilac eyes watching the cars go by just outside of the park. He barely even registered time rolling by slowly under the lazy heat of a summer day.

Devan was still getting used to the weight of his much larger wings and to the fact he'd grown two extra feet. His tail was longer too, he noted as he looked down to it. It had wrapped around one of his legs.
He made his way into the park and to his swing to find it occupied. He gave a small friendly smile and folded his wings against his back. "Hello," He greeted in a soft cheery voice. He noticed he really wasn't getting much air and slipped behind the other. "Would you like a push?"

Seth glanced up and at whoever had decided to speak. He blinked in confusion at who he was greeted with. Nobody he knew but the features seemed somewhat familiar. "Hello, an' yeah, please?" he asked, smiling happily at the idea of getting a push. Tail snaking up, it wrapped around the seat and himself so as to secure him in.
"M'name's Seth, who're you?" he asked, wiggling a little in excitement. Swinging was so much fun! A shame he couldn't do it on his own.

"Sure." Devan commented as he stood behind the other boy. He gave him a small push and started to help the boy swing, giving him a bit of a higher one each time he came back.
"Seth? That's a nice name. I'm Devan. I've never seen someone who looks well... if you're not offended, like a snake."

Seth couldn't contain the massive grin on his face even if he tried. Swinging was just so much fun! "Whee~! Hm? Oh! Yeah, I know. I even have the tongue. It's cause I sorta am half snake," he replied, thinking back to his meeting so long ago with Coatl. He was basically half snake, wasn't he?
"Never seen anyone with wings like yours either," he commented, having noticed them as Devan moved around to give him a push on the swing.

"You do? That's pretty cool." He said with a small laugh. "You really are? I didn't know that any of the uh... vices or virtues were snakes! Who is it?" He asked looking at him expectantly.
Devan looked back at his wings and gave a small flap. "I have. I've met a lot of people with wings." He motioned to his feather necklace. "I like trading feathers so I remember who my friends are."

"Sloth, I think. His name's Coatl an' he's so cool looking! I actually got t' meet him once," Seth replied, wiggling a little in his seat. His demon daddy really was the coolest in his eyes, at least.
"Never seen someone with those kinda wings, though. An' I can give you one of my feathers later if you want," he added. The little floof of feathers at the end of his tail wiggled back and forth a bit. Yeah, he had enough to give away one or two and it wasn't like they wouldn't grow back later.

"You got to meet him? Was... it really cool? My mom hates sending me to the facility so I never really get to see them." He jumped down off his swing and moved the the other boy's. He took the seat long enough to pluck off his feather and hand it to Seth before giving him a stronger push so he wouldn't slow down.
"Oh? I like my wings just fine. They're bigger now then they were. Mom thinks I can fly but I don't know about that. I'm kind of nervous to try."

Seth nodded. "Ahuh, it was. You should go an' see em sometime, then. You won't regret it," he replied. As Devan stopped by him and offered a feather, he managed to take it without destroying it in some way. Hell, he even managed to release one of the swing chains and pluck a feather out of his tail to hand to the boy.
"They're cool wings! You shoul' try an' fly. Maybe if you're nervous you could try little things? Like jumping off your bed or hovering or... or something? I wish I could fly..." It was one of those things he had always wished he could do but lacked the wings to do it.

Devan smiled at the new feather and lovingly stroked it before pulling away to attach it to his necklace. He smiled proudly as it dangled from its new home. "I should. I might find my parents."
He paused and thought about it. "Yah... I guess those little things would work. Well I think you're cool as you are. Wings are kind of hard to get around with sometime."

“You should. Everyone should meet their parents,” Seth agreed. Wings... If he had them, they probably would never be used as lazy as he was nowadays. Moving around the block was tiring in itself without using yet another appendage to help him. “They are? How do they make it hard t’ get around?” he asked curiously. How could they be difficult when moving around?
