It hadn't been until after the Open House that Aislin had finally been called to the office. The paper work was done, or so she'd been informed, and she'd been handed her skull pin. Information was briefly explained and she was turned in the direction of the Ghost dorms as well as the number of the room that would be her's. Once in the halls again the banshee quickly made a fashionable accessory out of the skull pin and some ribbon she had on her person, wrapping it neatly about her wrist. Gleefully she removed the visitor's pass, almost instantly her transparency flickering into something less solid.

With a sigh she stepped forward and floated a few inches off of the ground. Oh yes... yes, yes. This was much better. A delighted curl turning her lips upward and she grounded herself again, beginning to wander towards her new dorm. She pattered through the halls, turning one way and then another, following a map scrawled across a napkin she'd been given. Eventually she found her way to the Ghost Dorms. "What a lovely graveyard." She crossed the crooked tombstones and crumbling plots to the great mausoleum.

Peering inside she found a long staircase and descended, finally, finally stepping out into the bright room of the Dorm Commons. She took in a deep breath and looked around, eyes cracking open into two glowy slits. She was here. She was really here! After the long wait on the train and then the excitement of the Open House... Aislin was now officially a student. And oh what there was for her to learn and see! Interesting things, she hoped! No longer able to contain the excitement and glee of her wait being over the banshee couldn't hold back the tiny giggles that gradually crescendo'd into shrieks of laughter.

Pulling a red wife-beater ove his head, Seiji checked his ePhone one last time before tucking it into the pocket of his jeans. He had plans to stop by the fitness club room, see if anyone was in there so he could get a few reps in with the free weights, and if not, perhaps swing over to the monster dorms. He didn't really have any solid plans for the afternoon, but there was at least a semi solid game plan. He gave Hikari a fond scratch under the chin, straightened, and exited his room. Locking the door behind him.

He hadn't expected to see anyone he knew within the common room, knowing everyone he was acquainted with generally avoided it in favor of other more friendly places, so he spared the large opening a quick flick of dark eyes before moving past it. Pausing only after he'd taken a good three steps towards the stairs. That swirly blonde hair had looked mighty familiar. He turned, back tracked those few lost steps, and took a longer look.

Oh ya, definitely familiar. So it seemed she was finally enrolled. "Well aren't you looking a little less solid." He grinned at her automatically. Happy to see her, even after all that had happened. She was his first friend in this unlife, he suspected he'd probably always feel a certain fondness for her.

There had been a part of him that had worried when he found out she was on her way to the school. Scared that that little part of him that'd fancied her in the past would still be there, and all the complications that could come from it. When they'd run into each other in the library he'd expected to feel something familiar in that respect, but was relieved when he didn't. He was happy with Junko, he didn't want anything to get in the way of that.. Which reminded him, he should probably have a little talk with the ghoul.

The laughter had subsided as she heard a familiar voice. One that she'd been hoping to hear, actually. Aislin turned around in a cloud of hair and espied who she hoped for. "Seiji!" In a way very similar to how she'd greeted him in the library Aislin bounded over to her friend and threw her arms around his neck, pressing her cheek close to his with a happy exclamation. "Oh, I KNOW! I'm so glad to not have to wear that horrible visitor's pass anymore. I hope you didn't miss me at the library. But there were booths and prizes and things called Nyan Cats!"

At the mention of the confectionery kitties the banshee perked up. Letting go of the other ghostly boil she whirled around and bent over, fishing around in a little case that she had with her. It held... well not exactly her wordly possessions. Aislin never had much on her, but she HAD won things at the Open House. She tugged out a battered box and stood up again, hair flowing behind her every action.

"Here, Seiji. To make up for it! This one is Booberry, I think they said?" She handed the box to her friend with a smile. The smoke that curled from her throat as she spoke was a warm, if faint, orangy color, curling into little patterns and squiggles.

The greeting was expected, and he was ready when she threw her arms around his neck to dangle there while she pressed against his cheek. It made him laugh, and he rested a hand on her back before she dropped away again. Oh jack, he could only imagine what others might think if they didn't know the boil or his feeling towards a certain futakuchi-onna. He could understand why Jove kept giving him odd little glances. Yes, he was going to have to talk to junko, soon.

"I followed Jove after you left, then went and signed up for Bruteball." Broad shoulders shrugged. "There was a lot to see, I didn't expect you to hang around in any one place too long." He'd learned that lesson hard, but now it was just the way things were. "What's a Nyan Cat?"

Brows dipped as she turned to dig around in the bag behind her, Smile twitching into more of a thoughtful tug then anything else. That is until she stood again and placed a battered box in his hand. He stared at the thing mutely a moment before flicking red on black eyes up to the ghoul. "Is it food?" She had said booberry, that was a flavor, wasn't it? Last he knew though cats were something to be kept as a pet, not consumed.

She was glad to hear he wasn't completely at a loss without her when she'd left him. When Seiji showed confusion towards the box Aislin let out a soft titter of a laugh. "It's food... and a pet. And it moves by rainbows, but that just makes it very fast. I don't know either, but they were all the rage at the booths!" Another crazy laugh escaped the banshee before she settled back down again.

"So!" She gave a single clap, holding her hands together in front of her, fingertips lightly pressed against her chin. The toothy grin never left her face as she continued to speak. "Are you going to show me around, then? I don't know where anything is, they didn't give me much for a map." She held up the little piece of napkin with scrawled handwriting inked across it's surface in blue. "I saw the library during the open house and plenty of the outside but where are the other dorms? And the classrooms? And anything else important!"

This was so exciting! Not only was she finally officially enrolled in the school but Seiji, her old haunt-buddy, her best friend, someone whom she felt great affection for was going to be the one to show it all to her! She reached down and swiped up his hand, holding it tightly in her's as she began tugging him back towards the staircase she'd come down. She could find her room later! And it wasn't like anyone would take her stuff! If they did she'd just hunt them down and make them regret it!

"Er.." Her explanation had not clarified things very much. Food, and a pet, and it apparently crapped rainbows and moved at the speed of light. Wtf? He stared at it a moment longer before setting it back with her belongings as she took claim of his hand. "Thanks Ash, I'm sure it's very.. Neat." He'd had to fish around for a word, and still wasn't quite sure the one he'd picked was accurate.

He'd been planning on offering her a tour around school since the moment he'd learned she was being enrolled, but now it seemed he didn't have a choice in the matter. Ah well, he didn't mind. Plucking the map from her hand, he gave it a quick scan before crumpling it up and tossing it in the bin beside the far wall, scoffing at the shoddy penmanship. "That had probably been Arel. He's.. " Special. He had very mixed feelings about the Amityville staff, specially after the field trip from hell.

"I guess we can start with the dorms. These are obviously the ghost dorms, I'm sure you'll examine ever nook and cranny of this place once you move in, so let's start with the others." He gently extracted his hand from her's, sweeping it out in an 'after you' gesture. Seemed he was going to have to have a talk with her as well. He knew the clinging she did didn't mean anything, but everyone else was liable to jump to conclusions.

She was a little surprised when Seiji pointedly tugged his hand from her's... he'd never done something like that before. Aislin frowned, crossing her arms over her chest as she followed along behind the boil. As soon as they reached the top of the stares and left the doors of the morgue behind them, stepping out into the little graveyard and wrapped her arms about his neck from behind, leaning against his back. Her feet lifted up off the ground the few inches they were able and she rested her chin on his shoulder with a grin. "The other dorms might be fun. Are they bigger than ours? There doesn't really seem to be that many ghosts around... that's too bad."

The banshee trailed lightly along behind, or rather she was pulled in a pseudo-piggy back style. It was so nice not having to walk when she didn't feel like it. "So, Seiji. You said you had some friends here? Can I meet them?" She was, of course, referring to a conversation they'd had on groanspring. She gave a little giggle, curls of off-white fog coiling around Seiji and herself as they moved, trails of it left behind in their wake. "Am I asking too many questions?"

A sidelong glance caught her reaction to him taking his hand back, and he couldn't help but feel a little bad for it. He wasn't going to take the action back though. That soft guilt lasted only as long as it took to reach the head of the stairs though, because that was exactly how long it took the ghoul to get over it. Draping herself against his back with arms draped over his shoulders. Trailing along behind him like some heavy cape. He snorted, but he didn't move her. There was no way he was going to get her to keep her hands to herself, and this seemed the lesser evil. His own hands were deposited into his pockets.

"They're a bit bigger, ya. The monster and demon dorms seem to be the biggest, but that just might be because they're currently the fullest." He shrugged, shoulders rolling under her arms. "Most of the ghosts I haven't actually met. They seem a solitary lot." He didn't understand it really, he liked his friends. "You met Jove, the little guy with glowy eyes and fluffy ears. Then there's.. Sarias." He snorted, still quite royally pissed at the other banshee. "Another banshee." He left it at that.

"Of course you can meet them." He smirked, glancing sideways at where her head was resting on his shoulder. "And no, you're not." She was new, it was a big place, and they hadn't seen each other in years. Questions were expected. "Jove is like a little brother to me, he doesn't talk. Then there's Tomoko, she's a kitsune demon, sort of my little sister." He brought his hands out of his pockets so he could tick off the names on his claws as he listed them. "Unstabul, my best mate, and Mei. He'd got a crush on her. Hadiyya and Sharra, Yaya is Junko's best friend. And Junko is my ghoulfriend." He'd had to slip it in somewhere, and now seemed the perfect time.

Aislin contented herself in being tugged along behind Seiji, listening to his voice with her cheek rested against his shoulder. Her arms gave a gentle squeeze around his neck, fingers spread out over his collarbone. With a sudden pang she realized how very, very much she had missed him. The ghostling looked in the directions that were pointed out to her, towards the different dorms and things.

She perked a little bit at the mention of another banshee. "Really?" She'd never met others like her, to be honest. Of course she didn't realize how peculiar that was. Her attention was more focused as he began to list off the names and little descriptions of his friends. It delighted her that he'd made so many of them. More for her to meet and to also become friends with!

And then the G word came out. Not only did it come out but it was said in the same sentence as a familiar name. "Junko? I met her." First impression had been a ghoul who was kind of... weird. She'd been really talkative and had smiled too hard. "Only for a second, though, at the Prom booth. You have a ghoulfriend!" The information slowly began to sink into her. She wrapped her arms more tightly around his shoulders, leaning in harder and resting her chin so far onto his shoulder that their cheeks were nearly touching.

A ghoulfriend. Her feet curled up behind her as she floated, mulling over this word and how it made her feel for a few moments in silence. She tilted her head to the side, eyes cracking open into glowing slits as she looked at her First Friend. A slow smile spread across her face. "Do I still get to do things like this?" And she leaned in and kissed his cheek. Finally Aislin let go, pushing off and gliding around to stand on her own two feet in front of him, hands held together behind her back.

He nodded at her question about Sarias, almost sorry he'd brought her up at all. He didn't really wanna talk about her.

The squeeze along his shoulders made him smile, relaxing a bit at the old familiarity of it. He'd missed the other ghost, he really had. Her sudden disappearance had been fairly hard for him to handle. Frankly, he'd expected to be mad at her still, for leaving him all alone like that, but apparently all emotional baggage had been left in the past, and there was only fold memories and friendship remaining. He could deal with that.

"You did?" He turned his head enough to glance at her sidelong as she mentioned having already met the futakuchi-onna. Dark brows twitching upward curiously. "Ah. We'll I'll have to introduce you two formally. And yes," he chuckled. "I do. We've been together pretty much since the day I arrived on campus. I started talking to her on groanspring before I got here, and asked her to the scarentines dance the night I finished moving in." He smiled, a happy little twitch of lips. It was pretty obvious the ghost was rather smitten with the ghoul, which always surprised him when he realized it.

As for Aislin's clinging.. He wasn't sure. Granted, he didn't think she'd cease it all together even if he'd asked her to. "I suppose, but," he frowned thoughtfully at the kiss, watching as she floated around to stand before him. "Just.. You know, don't get carried away." The frown deepened. Clearly these weren't grounds he was used to standing on. "I don't want to make Junko uncomfortable, she means a lot to me. You both do. So, keep that in mind?" Awkward conversation was slightly awkward. he really hopped Ash wouldn't take offense, that was so far outside what he was going for.

"Well what about making ME feel uncomfortable?" There wasn't much sense in her words but that didn't matter. Suddenly he was trying to be stingy about something they'd always done. Seeing the almost tender expression pass over his face had a feeling almost like indignant desperation crawl into the pit of her stomach and thrash around. She wasn't bothered so much that he had found a ghoulfriend as she was that he'd found someone that he maybe considered more important than her. Even if he did say they were both meant a lot to him... one of them still had to mean more.

"I was friends with you first. And it's not like I'm trying to steal you away." She came forward and reached out for him, grasping his wrist with both of her hands and tugging it towards her, as though she could pull him closer. "It's not bad when it's just us at least, right? Come on." She'd have to meet this Junko further sometime, pay more attention to her and see what she was like.

But that was later. She didn't want to think about Junko right now. All she wanted to do was spend some time with her first friend and explore and have fun like they used to. "So, are you still getting into trouble?" She giggled, beginning to walk again - although she no longer cared about the destination or any further explaining about the grounds from Seiji. She was more intent on catching up.

His shoulders sagged at her question, features taking a down right pained expression. Jack damnit. "I don't want to do that either. Ash.." He trailed off, lifting a hand to push fingers through his hair as he took a slow breath and released it. Why did things always have to be so jacking complicated?

And then there was the matter of jealousy he hadn't really expected to be there. It wasn't for his attention in a romantic sense, but there wasn't a whole lot of difference to his eyes. It wasn't really fair in his opinion. She'd left him, not the other way around. If she'd stayed with him, they'd have.. Or maybe not, but she could have stayed! Then this little issue wouldn't exist.. but, then he wouldn't have met Junko. The thought made his chest tight.

"I know that," he offered softly to her assurance she had no intention of "stealing him away", letting her grab his wrist to tug him forward by it a step. "I don't know, Ash." He used her grip on his arm to tug her in, giving her a one armed hug. "I have to talk to her, explain everything from back then, and we'll go from there, ok?" It would probably be alright, probably. He wasn't going to make promises he wasn't sure he could keep though.

When she offered a change in topic he was happy to take it, falling into step beside her. "Not really. After we parted ways back then I wandered a bit by myself before an elder couple of haunts took me in. I didn't have to steal anymore, or defend myself, it was nice." He still looked the part of the bad boy, but he'd mellowed considerably. That didn't mean he didn't retain the knowledge though. "How about you?"

"Hmmm... me?" She hugged his arm against her chest as they walked, thinking. Her smile returned to her face as she looked coyly side-long towards Seiji. A giggle bubbled up and out of her in a cloud of purple. "I think I would be bored without a little trouble. I was mostly alone until I met Cat. Then I was alone again aaaand then I decided to join school! Then here I am again with you!" Never mind the details in between. Those were small time things. What mattered most was they were reunited!

They walked a bit further, quiet now as Aislin fell back on a momentarily introspective moment. Gradually the grip she had on his arm became looser and looser until she let it go completely, her hands slipping down to grasp his wrist instead. Her expression was... solemn almost. Thoughtful. "I didn't leave you behind on purpose, you know. At least. I wasn't trying to get rid of you. Was just time to move forward." She tucked an errant lock of blond hair behind a pointed ear, looking over towards her friend.

"I promise you, I looked back." She gave his hand a squeeze and offered a little smile.

He chuckled softly at her answer, smiling down at her before rolling his eyes. Ash wouldn't be Ash without a side order pf trouble and a heaping scoop of energy. It was good to see she hadn't changed though, even if there were certain aspects to her that had led to her leaving, if she was anything but the banshee he'd met back in that graveyard they probably wouldn't have been such close friends. "It's good to see you made it through."

As he grip on his arm loosened then fell away he blinked down at her, frowning softly as her expression sobered. Stiffening as she went on to explain her leaving all those years ago, and turning away so he wouldn't have to see that solemn look on her pale features.

He might have been over whatever little crush he'd had on the ghoul before she'd disappeared on him, but that didn't mean he was over her leaving. Friends or more, it had hurt to wake up one morning and find her gone. No explanation, no note, no indication of where she'd gone or why. He forgave her, but it was still something of a sore topic for him. Perhaps because he had never really had a chance to come to grips with it.

She squeezed his hand, offering up some soft assurance, and he lowered his eyes to watch the path before them. "I know." It was a lie, but he didn't really want to talk about it anymore, not right that moment at least. Perhaps later.
