Volleyball - "You're gonna get served!" Damali is a passionate player of volleyball and has even won several competitions for her school. Having picked it up in Middle school, continued through High school (Meadowview all the way!), to this very day, all it took was one smooth serve and she was hooked like a starving fish. If she can't be found at work, the range, or school she'll more than likely be out on the school grounds or at the beach playing for fun as well as practice, that is, when she has off time and the demands of school aren't raining down upon her like the flames of judgement anyway.
Guns, Guns, Guns! - "They don't call me a gunslinger because I look cute with a pistol." Oh yes, this girl has aim. Damali first held a firearm at the ripe old age of ten when her father insisted that she learn for both her own safety and to keep alive a family tradition as old as gunpowder itself. Her father, and his father before him, and his father before him and so on and so forth have had a long standing relationship with firearms and shooting. Their philosophy centered around the art of aim and the strength of concentration under even dire circumstance and since it was only she and her twin sister at home, ahem no brothers, they were the ones lucky enough to help keep a passion and long standing tradition, usually reserved for the men in their family, alive and kicking. But she didn't always take it seriously, thinking it a weird concept and simply enjoying it as a sport, until one day it actually saved her life. But that's another story. ;D
Taekwondo - "TAE KWON!" The importance of self defense having been pounded into her head as a child, and not being one for dance class like her sister, Damali found a strange bond with the South Korean martial art known as Taekwondo and has since become well rounded in "the art of the foot and fist". When she was younger she took it quite seriously but in recent years she has been using it mostly as a way to let off steam and find some inner peace amidst the hectic strain of everyday life.
Virtues:
Observant - "OMFG.. did you see that guy in the airplane window? He was totally making a face at us." It seems as though almost nothing gets past this girl. Having been trained to concentrate and pay close attention nearly all of her life it's no wonder she can seem to spot a beetle climbing up the side of a mountain from a million feet away. Well, perhaps not so drastic but still pretty darn good. She has a tendency to notice small details about others and quirky habits as well which she seems to almost never forget and uses as a means to feel out a strangers personality or the emotions of her friends and acquaintances. She sometimes makes hasty judgement in regards to the feelings of others but can keep her opinions, and her observations, to herself. Just don't try to tell her she's wrong if she tells you she saw something because like it or not this girl can out-spot you almost eighty percent of the time.
Optimistic - "There's no giving up, we'll find a way!" That ain't the half of it. Damali is quite a positive person and she dislikes to see others, especially those that she has a close connection with, down or disheartened. It isn't uncommon to hear her in the hallways or out on the volleyball court giving encouragement and shouting positively. She may be loud but her words are almost always aimed to make someones day better and brighter. She can be over-enthusiastic sometimes but it's hard to get her down, even when she's face down in the dirt.
Loyal - "Don't worry, I'm here for you." If you've been searching for someone who wont ever let you down then look no further because this girl is loyal to the core. She has a strong belief that once someone places their trust in you it is your duty to uphold that trust and never, EVER, break it. EVER.
Outgoing - "You must be new, here's my phone number!" Damali will usually be the first in any group to reach out, grab a hand and shake it vigorously should someone new come-a-knocking. She does this for one of two reasons; the first being that she just likes meeting new people and enjoys making a great first impression and the second is that she wants to quickly get a feel for someone so she can judge whether or not she intends on really trusting them. She is also usually the first with suggestions for R&R, getaways or parties as she really is a fun-loving-girl and knows how to have a good time, especially if everyone else is having a blast as well.
Flaws:
Stubborn - "I don't care if it's a fact. That's just one opinion." If you want your day to go off pleasantly DO NOT ARGUE with her. Damali has a terrible streak of stubbornness a mile long which she's had her entire life and while it helps in some areas, like determination and strength of will, she can tend to go overboard and argue with you about the most unimportant matters, even if it's pointless and often times without end. The fact is that she wants to win the argument and doesn't like being proven wrong. Sense or no sense, it doesn't entirely matter as long as she comes out victorious.
Suspicious - "I don't trust you." While Damali may be outgoing her trust is carefully reserved for those who have proven they can be kept close. If she does believe you have a good heart she'll go the extra mile for you, don't get her wrong, but if she doesn't trust you she'll close up like a steel trap and there is absolutely no way in hell she'll give you a second chance. No amount of effort or deeds will change her mind and regaining her trust is almost impossible. Like it or not if you've got bad intentions you'd do well to keep away from her and those close to her otherwise you may just end up hating life.
Jealous - "Oh so your hand just 'accidentally' fell into her shirt?" As if trust issues weren't enough Damali has a jealous side bitchy enough to send even the snobbiest girls at Crystal Academy running for the hills. It's made worse by the fact that she has a very keen sense of observation which is often mistaken when in a highly emotional state. In other words if she has a strong emotional attachment to someone and she just happens to see them doing something that looks like it isn't innocent or if even the tiniest detail seems out of place she'll often misconstrue the entire situation. This, in turn, causes her jealousy to flare up like the hot, hot fires of Hades. When that happens you'd better just run for cover.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
REFERENCE TO HAIR STYLE, COLOR, SKIN TONE AND EYE COLOR

Eyes: A light to medium, stormy grey. Almost haunting or moonglow-like. Her eye expression should be either warm or excited.
Hair: Chocolate brown in color. The bangs are cut into multiple lengths and the body of her hair, while reaching to her backside, is also layered and almost always pulled up in a very loose, layered bun which is messily looped and never tight. Accessories are non-existent with the exception of the black hair band she uses to pull her hair back with.
Face: Her face is usually either warm and friendly or excited and energetic. I'm open to either. XD As a note though her skin tone is tan. Not really dark but a healthy tan color. She's a summer girl and is always out in the sun playing sports.
Clothes: She attends Sovereign Heights Preparatory so a school uniform is perfectly fine.

If there is no school uniform for Sovereign Heights then this is the flavor of what I'd like. THOUGH this is just an idea. I am very open to suggestions. She's sporty so her everyday clothes would also be sporty. She's not one to fuss or primp. c:
