Apart from during the recent open house, it had been some time since she had seen the red dragon - mostly because she had always been the one doing the initiating and once she decided not to in order to avoid him, well... That's it. It didn't seem like he was too concerned about the fact that she had stopped either, probably because she didn't bother him that much to start with. It didn't stop her from feeling hurt though... At least, that was weeks ago. Now, she was rather thankful.
It made things a lot easier than if he were to care more.
She found herself wandering over to the arcade Mot had brought her to just before the Fitness vs Nap Paintball match, which was, admittedly, a while ago. She hadn't been back since due to being distracted by other things, mostly classes and open house... And now, there is Prom to worry about - or rather, what to wear to prom now that she had secured an escort/date/whatever you like to call it... The word 'date' had always caused her to blush though.
However, now that she had decided that her little (rather short-lived) crush on Jericho was over and resolved, and she no longer felt any form of... Negative feelings towards Riley, she had sent a text to the boil just before leaving her room. It was a simple message: "Hey Jericho! It's been a while since we met up. Meet me in 30 minutes at the arcade at the corner of the Maul, level 1?"
If he says yes, she'll get a chance to enter the arcade again since she didn't feel comfortable going to a place like that by herself... Or with another ghoul. If he says no... Well, his loss. She'll have to pester someone else then.

Jericho was pretty much always up for gaming. The times where he wasn't came relatively rarely. This wasn't one of those times. So when he received the text from Lizzy, he got his seeds and hurried on over towards the scarecade to meet up with the girl. He was kind of surprised to receive the invitation since he wasn't aware she went there at all, but that didn't matter. It was kind of cool actually.
Coming to the corner at the designated time, the dragon began looking around for the pink haired demon. When he managed to spot her, he grinned and walked up.
"Hey Lizzy," he greeted, "How've you been?"
It had been a little while since they had hung out, but the dragon had figured she was busy. There was also the matter of the sickness she said she had been feeling a few weeks back before the Prom. That, and exams were kind of coming up.

"Heyy," She grinned when she saw him arrive, raising a hand in a sort of wave - just in time too! While the fact that she no longer felt... Flustered around him surprised her, what surprised her enough more was the fact that it actually felt rather nice to see him as just a friend and not a potential anything. In fact, she stood there, head tilted as he neared: To hug or not to hug? That is the question.
Ah, why not? Friends are made for hugging!
When he was near enough, she grinned, giving him a quick hug before releasing him. Fine, the faintest hint of a blush could be seen on her cheeks, but it was faint! And she's not flailing! Gesturing at the entrance of the arcade, she started to walk towards it, giggling softly, "I hope you're ready to lose~"

Grinning, Jericho lightly returned the hug, not as stiff as the first time she had hugged him. After all she was a good friend and not someone he barely knew any longer. The dragon did notice that she seemed a little different. She seemed... calmer than usual or something along those lines. Though that wasn't a bad thing at all.
"Lose?" He repeated with an amused look, "Hah. I don't lose all that easily. Just ask Mac."
Yes, Jericho still recalled practically sweeping the reaper in the scarecade when they had played together.
"But yeah, I'm ready to go on in," he nodded before stepping in.

"Ohhhh? What did you do to Mac?" She couldn't resist asking, curiosity piqued as she looked up at Jericho, wondering if the two boils had met up outside of class or something; she hardly sees them interact in class, after all. Then again, boils being boils, they must hardly talk about what they do, right?
"Heyy, I beat you in... Uh, what's that game? Scario... Kart? Yeah! Scario Kart," She chuckled, even if most of her memories of that particular day were locked away, somewhere deep inside her mind, "Who knows? Maybe I have a gift for these things~"
Inside, it was as loud and colorful as ever, and she took a few seconds to get used to the sounds and sights before looking around; she had only tried a few machines - namely, the two Mot had picked and the one that she had picked... If a UFO catcher could even be considered a 'game'. Moving backwards so that she was now standing beside the boil, she smiled sheepishly, raising her voice a little so that he could hear her over the noise, "Honestly, I've only played a few games here... So, any recommendations? If not, can we start with playing the shooter games?"

"Oh. I only practically sweeped him up on the arcade floor," Jericho chuckled, "Beat him in nearly every game we played here."
Though, she did have a point. She did manage to defeat him in scario kart. But that could just be a one time occurrence. Once inside, he looked around with an eager glint in his eyes. It had been a little while since he had stopped by himself, but it didn't look like there were any new machines from the last visit he had.
"Well, let's see if you do have the gift," he said while looking around, "I've no preference, so a shooter is fine with me. Go ahead and pick one out."

"Oh, did you?" Her eyes widened, and then she started giggling at the thought of Mac losing consecutively to Jericho. A grumpy, meanie like Mac; she wondered if he became like... A pile of grumpy after all that. It didn't occur to her that he was only grumpy when she's around... Might be a good thing though; it would probably upset her if she ever found out.
"Well, you might just be lucky that time. I bet Mac's pretty good at games," She tapped a finger against her chin before leading him over to a shooter that had caught her eye - it is huge, and unlike the last one that she had played, has two different displays, one for each player.
"Time Cryptic 3," She looked at the name of the machine before fishing out some seeds and feeding the machine to start it up, paying for both of them. She then took her place, grabbing hold of the red gun as she grinned at Jericho, "Ready, partner?"
... Okay, that sounded really cool.

Nodding to her, Jericho chuckled and shrugged lightly. The second time they had a round of games, the reaper did put up a better 'fight' against him. They were considerably more equal that time around.
"He's not bad. I'll say that much," the dragon grinned before coming up to the Time Cryptic 3 machine. Ah yes. This was a good one.
"Great choice," he complimented before grabbing a hold of the other gun and tossing in his seeds.
"More than ready," he said with his game face on. Once the level began, he fired away at the targets, doing what he could to avoid hitting the Halloween citizens.

"It's Mac we're talking about here, after all," She replied happily before focusing her attention on the screen. Once it started, she started firing away; unlike before, she knew how to reload the gun but... What's that?
"YOUHAVETOSTEPONTHATTONOTHIDE?" She squeaked out, glad that she read the (brief) instructions before really starting the level. It still caught her by surprise though, and a few seconds into the game, Jericho would hear "Ahhhh-" from Lizzy's direction.

It had been awhile since Jericho played this game and it showed in his final score. He didn't do too well over all, but it seemed like Lizzy fared even worse. Letting out a breath and relaxing as the round was over, he grinned at the girl before looking back at the game.
"Another round? Or you wanna go for something else?"

"Another round! The stepping-thing caught me off guard!" She pouted, pointing at the offending thing on the ground, attached to the machine. She had no idea how she missed such a huge object, but she wasn't going to make the same mistake twice.
"If I win," She looked up hopefully at Jericho as she tilted her head, "You have to get me something from the UFO machine on your first try~" Now insert Lizzy's puppy face here.

Chuckling softly, Jericho nodded, "Alright. If you say so."
The little thing she added about the UFO catchers had him tilting his head. It was an interesting stipulation to be sure. And it was also a challenge!
"Haha, alright. But what happens if I fail then?" he asked with a grin. The dragon tossed in some more seeds and got another game up and going. He was determined to try and beat his previous score in the least.

"You'll have to get me two plushies then," She held up two fingers in a 'V' before grinning back and doing the same, inserting in some seeds. With that in mind, she was determined to beat Jericho.

"I... I won," She stared in disbelief at the scores on the two screens before grinning happily, throwing her hands into the air, gun and all, "I wonnnn~" She giggled; yes, blame it on being caught off guard the first time round for her terrible score! Placing the gun back into its holder, she then turned to beam up at Jericho expectantly, head tilted slightly to a side.

Nodding to that, Jericho hoped he wouldn't end up having to snag the plushies twice. Those UFO catchers could be real seed eaters sometimes! It wouldn't be too bad to grab something for the girl, however. And though he tried, he did more or less the same as how he had done the first time around. A quick glance to the side told him that it wasn't the same for Lizzy.
"Nice shooting," he grinned before glancing at the UFO catchers, "So uh... do you have any sort of preference? Or will any do?"

"From that machine," She pointed at the very same machine she - uh, Mot - had won the fail-pirate Foxfire plushie (now currently sitting on her bed back in her room) from before taking Jericho's arm gently in her own and leading him over. Releasing him, she leaned over the controls of the machine to stare through the glass as she examined the plushies inside.
Again, very much like a scareling staring through the glass of a candy store.
"Any but the fail-pirate," She finally decided with a giggle, taking a step to the side so that she was no longer blocking the controls, "I already have that one~" It seems like she might be making it a habit to bring a plushie home every time she comes by.
