Personality:
+Confident: Corydon has few doubts about his own abilities, and it shows in everything he does. However, he's not annoying about it and doesn't brag.
+Just: Corydon is honorable, and is driven to fight against injustice and wrongdoings. There may be a few places where his personal code doesn't match with other people's but at heart he is a good guy and wants people to be happy.
/Flirty: Corydon will flirt with anything that seems remotely compatible, sometimes running the risk of making others uncomfortable or upsetting the partners of others. Of course, if the recipient is open to it, it's not a bad thing.
-Thrill Seeker: Corydon will sometimes make impulsive or unwise decisions for the sake of entertainment.
-Easily Distracted: This manifests in the full scale of Corydon's life: from being unwilling to stay in one city for too long to when he can't focus on a task at hand because there's something else stealing his attention.
Strengths: Corydon is well experienced in the world and as such is self-reliant. He can take care of himself and won't let things keep him down for long because he knows there is more to experience in the world.
Weaknesses: He will sometimes take things too far and it can get him in trouble. Whether it's flirting, teasing, fighting, or any number of other things, his internal filter just doesn't tell him when he should stop. On the flip side, if something is too serious or is boring him, he can be known to drop it too quickly in favor of something else.
History: Corydon was raised from an Eevee pup by a girl trainer from Jubilife City, who had been adventuring for some time and showed great promise. He wasn't her first Pokemon but she was proud of her companion's shiny silver fur and trained him well. As they traveled around Sinnoh together, Corydon grew stronger and the pair grew close.
Eventually they took a trip up north to Snowpoint City. They trained in the wilderness as training to prepare for the local gym battle. After one particularly difficult battle, Corydon found himself evolving into a beautiful, glimmering Glaceon.
The two continued traveling together, training, making friends, and learning life's lessons, as things often go.
Then the day came when the girl returned home to Jubilife for a regular visit and met a young man—just a couple of years older than herself by this time—who was an aspiring Pokemon breeder. She was enamored with him and while she and her Glaceon still left to travel on occasion, she started to come up with more and more excuses to stay home for longer and longer periods of time. She would say she needed to help her mother around the home, share her knowledge at the Trainer’s School or help the young man with his business.
The Glaceon was well cared for but the now young woman's attentions waned and he was mostly left to his own devices around town. Corydon understood his owner's attraction to the young man; he’d felt that way about quite a few Pokemon they had met on their journey. He’d been physically affectionate with a good number of them. What he didn't understand was the hold he seemed to have on her—a hold strong enough to cause her to change her whole lifestyle.
Of course, nobody really understands love until they experience it for the first time. Eventually that time came for Corydon, when he met a Vaporeon that he just couldn't get out of his mind. The Vaporeon, however, did not return his affections. He was scarred and untrusting, and wouldn't let Corydon get close.
Unbeknownst to Corydon, the Musharna came to the Vaporeon in a dream and made him an offer. The Vaporeon was angry at what the humans had put him through and took the offer without a second thought. The next time Corydon saw the Vaporeon, he was tall and walking on two feet like a human. Corydon instantly recognized him for who he was, and felt a great sadness that the Vaporeon would make a change that prevented them from being together in the way Corydon felt for him.
It wasn't long until Corydon received a visit from the Musharna himself. After the Musharna explained his goals, Corydon might have turned down the offer but he realized this was a second chance to be with the Vaporeon. He thought maybe the shared experience could even bring them closer. Corydon accepted.
Unfortunately, sometimes even second chances aren't enough and the Vaporeon rejected Corydon again. Instead of being drawn closer by the shared experience, the Vaporeon was put off by the fact that Corydon would go to these lengths for such an unimportant reason. The Vaporeon set off to accomplish new goals brought on by his new form, and Corydon was left behind—heartbroken again.
It took time to heal, but Corydon was strong-minded, and he recovered. He set his mind to enjoying what this new life had to offer him. He said his goodbyes to the girl who raised him and returned to life on the road on his own.
