Yes, I realize I didn't log in for months on end. Yes, I realize that there's been no activity in months. Yes, I know that a year ago, I didn't want to DM an adventure with weight gain rules in play.
Times change.
If you, the people of Fantasy, SciFi & Fat Chicks, can assemble an interested party of four by WEDNESDAY, I will DM an ongoing campaign in this very forum.
It will not be constant wish fulfillment. It will be a real, dramatic story with danger and consequences. Weight gain will proceed slowly, and usually during downtime rather than action scenes. There may be unusual systems in play (in addition to ) and strange rolls going on, my side of the screen.

And wow, yeah, I haven't logged in in months either but got bored and decided to check in. If you're okay with the fact that it's a few days past Wednesday then I am totally down. I might be able to grab some other people not in the forum to play too if we can't find four here.

I stopped checking that Friday, but I decided to log in one last time and got your PM.
I'd be quite obliged to start, still, if the players can be rounded up. I can only promise a few posts a day for the next couple of weeks, thouh. I've got real-life responsibilities to take care of which will be a little overwhelming.

I'll get the one guy I know is interested and see if I can find a 4th as well. And a few posts a day is probably about all I can manage anyway until the summer's over. I'll probably only be able to post once early morning then a few times in the evening during the week.
Out of curiosity, what system are you planning on using?

D&D 3.5. I try to be diplomatic about 4th edition, but the truth of the matter is that I will never even consider making the jump.

Oh, I totally agree. Pathfinder is a viable and somewhat awesome evolution of 3.5, but 4E is nowhere near as good. Yet still everybody in my IRL group thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread... sad
Now to figure out what class to play... What books are you including?
And as a one more question, what level are we starting at? I might go ahead and start building a character if I get bored.

Spectacular! Sorry that I'm fading in and out. Things to take care of, you know how it is.
If it's a WotC source book, I'll allow it, with several exceptions: Magic of Incarnum, Tome of Magic and Book of Nine Swords are *out*. They fundamentally unbalance the game, which is unfortunate. Thematically speaking, I don't think they'll be missed.
Let's go with 34 point-buy, for stats. Let's start at... oh, comfortable-but-engaging fourth level characters.
I would also suggest that in addition to fulfilling the usual party roles of Fighter, Mage, Rogue and Healer, you look to build a party that fills the four "Weight Gain party roles": The Reluctant Gainer, the Purposeful Gainer, the Feeder/Facilitator and the Monster Of Some Variety.

Ok nifty! No worries by the way, about having to pop in and out. Real life comes first.
I figure I'll cover the Reluctant Gainer archetype. I enjoy playing a gal that doesn't want to gain but does so anyway. It's more fun that way smile
As for the party role. I will wait and see after everyone picks their class, and fill in what we're lacking. I don't mind being support, so let me know what you all want to play.

Also, I was wondering if the Astral Deva creature class in Savage Species has your DM stamp of approval. I'm not saying that it's what I've chosen or what I have my heart set on, I just to check if it's a valid option.

It's not official, I guess, I just notice that every party of WG adventurers seems to have one. And, I'll allow Savage Species, even though I think it's technically 3.0?

Well, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to covering the vore role. Do you know how you plan to incorporate it rules-wise?
I think I'd have to pass on the furry part, but slimegirl could also be interesting as some sort of an alternate form. Although I don't know how much my character would end up gaining and how much she'd just teasingly inflate the gainers. Same thing, though, where I'm not sure how you're planning to implement it.
