Calixte wandered through the forest, just taking her time. She was tired and weary, and she was ready to have a little bit of relaxation away from the herd. So she, as she had done a few times, had wandered into the woods, relishing the feel of fresh, new air around her and old trees protecting her as she had once protected them. Her butterflies fluttered around her, happy to be back in the forest and to maybe find some new flowers.
Her thoughts wandering from the canopy to the clouds and back to the herd she had temporarily left behind, Calixte didn't notice that she had stopped walking and was standing stalk-still in the middle of a grove of flowering trees. Waking from her trance-like thinking, she blinked and gasped, finally realized that she was in an as-yet undiscovered part of the forest. Glowing eyes wide, she took a step into the grove. Immediately, her tribe of butterflies went crazy, excited over all the flowers before their eyes.

Akino aimlessly strolled along after a fluttering, blue butterfly. His silver eyes glazed over as he thought about what his family was doing without him. Of course, they probably missed him. His mother was probably heartbroken without his glorious presence. With a sigh, he seemed to snap back to life once again.
He turned after the blue butterfly that seemed to sense something. Akino shook his head as he noticed a small grove that seemed to be filled with a multitude of colors. "You butterflies always want flowers. Couldn't you go five seconds without having a flower around?" A smirk appeared on the large stallion's maw as he watched the butterfly closely. Soon, the orange butterfly that followed him darted past the blue one. "You are excited for flowers as well, I see." A soft chuckle escaped past the stallion's lips as he noticed a figure up ahead and he became a little more intrigued with where the butterflies were taking him.

Walking around the grove, Cali gazed in wonder at all the blossoms and flowers that lined the edges. This had to be a place that had once been sacred to some culture, but had long been forgotten; the trees and shrubs were out of control, hardly tended, if tended at all. This would be her new project, she decided, sniffing the air - full of the scent grass, fresh air, and a variety of sweet flowers, it filled her lungs the way no other kind of air could. Her butterflies were off, busy eating nectar and exploring their new 'happy place.'
Cali's long ears twitched backward as she heard a voice, and crunching footsteps behind her. Turning about, she saw a large, winged silhouette approaching her. "Hello?" she called tentatively, uneasy. Taking a step forward, she asked, "Who is there?"

Silver eyes scanned the area before him, taking in the sites of the mass amounts of shrubs and flowers. It appeared to be the perfect place for a group of butterflies to float about aimlessly. While the blue and orange butterfly darted off in different directions, Akino remained focused on what lie before him, a rather odd looking silhouette. This silhouette was more than just some random creature, it was another soquili like himself... or so Akino guessed. As he drew closer to the mare, Akino couldn't hide the quizzical look on his face. What was wrong with this mare? Her ears were long and pointed, her mane was just a bunch of leaves, and her tail well... he didn't quite know what was wrong with her tail. Needless to say, Akino thought this mare was strange already and they hadn't even begun their conversation. A soft 'huff' escaped him as he glanced over to a grouping flowers, noticing not only his butterflies but a couple of blue and yellow ones. Friends for his little friends... how nice.
Then her voice struck the stallion like a lightning bolt, jolting him back to focus on her once more. "Ah, hello, miss!" Akino called out to the mare as he tossed his head slightly, causing his silver mane to move from in front of he eyes. Her timid question caused the stallion to slow his pace as he began to approach where she was wandering. Perhaps this was her home... or had she just wandered into the area as well? His orange and purple muzzle twitched slightly as he folded his wings against his sides, giving him a sleek look. "I am Akino and who might you be?" The stallion asked with a charming smile as he bowed his head slightly. Sure he thought the mare was a bit strange, but that didn't mean he couldn't show off a little bit of his charm. All mares deserved respect it was the law his father drilled into his head when he was a foal.
