Hyun stalked around, sniffing the air. He had been a bit disappointed that there was no challenge of joining. Instead, he was going to have to focus on the challenge of wooing a female. That was going to be harder than a regular fight. Hyun was no charmer. He was a challenger, a fighter. He didn't know how to sweet talk himself out of a box. Grumbling, he let his paws do the deciding, letting himself get used to these pridal lands, no matter how temporary they may be in his life.

Sumana was slinking around, the vain cat that she was. She was wanting attention, and it didn't matter who it came from. She loved males and females alike, even if her mother would dislike the latter. Sumana didn't much care for her mother, no matter how similar they were. Yawning, she climbed upon a rock to sunbathe, giving up on the attention-seeking hunt....for the moment.

Hyun's eyes glittered when he noticed the beautiful female before him. Yes, there were quite a few that lingered around here, but it seemed that the lands were big enough that he had to go looking before crossing paths. Now....well, he was quite pleased that he had managed to see one. He did his best to act cool, but Hyun was not born a ladies man. He was going to have to learn this through experience, and he had to be ready to fail.

Sumana glanced over at the male that seemed to look at her, and she didn't really want to look back at him, to be honest. He must be new here, and didn't realize that she wasn't as easy as he thought. Though she was like her mother in some ways, she wasn't as...open as her mother was. It was horrible being a goddess' daughter, as her visions were usually of her mother. Haunting, annoying, and probably a big reason as to why she was a lot like her.

"What, no hello?" Hyun said, cracking a smile. The male was fairly handsome, even if his teal coat was very striking against the dull browns of the savanna grass. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss. I'm Hyun." He offered a very, very polite bow to the lioness as the sun caressed her coat while she laid upon a rock. It was very picturesque....if he could actually get her to look at him more than just a glance.

Sumana sighed, but she did her best to ignore him. To be honest, since she had already given up on getting attention today, she had decided that it would be easier and nicer to just spend the remainder of the sun's time in the sun enjoying its warmth, and just wanted to be left alone. A large part of her worried that talking to him would just encourage him, and she she kept her mouth shut, and her eyes looking outwards, past him, to see if any of her fellow pride members were around.

Hyun wasn't really deterred yet, but he was a little frustrated that she didn't want to say anything to him. "Nothing?" He trotted around the rock, trying to see if he could catch a good look at her full face and eyes, but she was a crafty one, and easily avoided the looks he was trying to offer her. Why she seemed so adamant to be left alone, he had no idea. It made him sad.

"I didn't realize that a lady would prefer to be alone when good company is right before her," he said with a bit of a tease, a large, dramatic sigh escaping from his chest. He was hoping that it would work to get her attention, and he thought that it did start to work away at her.

Sumana finally looked at him, but she didn't let their eyes meet for too long. He wasn't bad, no, but he was rather annoying. Most men were like this, weren't they? They figured that since her heart was on her chest, she would be easy to sleep with, but that wasn't the truth at all. It made her fight against that assumption, and she figured that he felt the same as all the other males. It might not be fair to lump him in with the rest of them, but past experience was hard to get her to change her mind.

"I'm resting," she said, settling herself even more into her comfortable perch.

Finally! He got something out of her. Her voice was beautiful, even if her tone showed that she wasn't amused by his antics. Well, he never said he was good at talking with females, but so far so good!

"Hoho, now you're just going to taunt me with just that? Well then, perhaps I can come across you another time," he said, disappointed that this wasn't really going anywhere. He wasn't going to leave the pride anytime soon, and so he knew that he was going to run into her again sometime. He just would rather that this end in a better way, and not as awkwardly as it was at this point. "It would be my pleasure to see you again, m'lady."

Sumana huffed a bit, though it was through her nose and not terribly loud. He was a persistent one, wasn't he? If he really thought that she was easy, he might have moved on already, looking for easier females to try his paw at. This one....hm.

"Perhaps," she said, still not going to look at him. If he really wanted to pursue her, he was going to have to continue to do so. She was still more interested in taking a nap than flirting, but there was always the future to be held...

"Then I will see you soon," he said as politely as he could, and turned to leave. That was as good as he was going to get now, and he knew it. As long as he could see her again, hopefully soon. He nodded to no one in particular, and slinked off to find the water hole, intent to get his fill there, at least.
