But if you're not into Final Fantasy, maybe look into the anime Slayers.
Princess Amelia would suit you well too.
The most important thing though, is have fun. Choose a character that YOU like, not just because you look like them. I used to cosplay misa Amane, because I looked like her. But I hated the costume and the attention it got me (one word, CREEPERS). Now I stick to ginjika.
