The lioness had been growing quickly in a way. She had been spending a lot of time with her mother learning how to one day take over her mother's job. there was so much to learn and in a way Ney'ite was starting to become a little over whelmed. She was starting not to enjoy the idea. She had so much pressure riding on her. In her mind she was really not sure if she could handle it. Some how today she convinced her mother to let her have a day off. A day off was what she really wanted and she was really glad to have it. She didn't know what she was going to do today but she was going to do something.
She was making her way toward the watering hole in the pride. She thought that was a pretty nice place to spend the day that she had off. she had nothing else to do for the day and the watering hole around this time of the day didn't have to many others around it so it sounded like a pretty nice place to relax for a while today. Not only that but it was cool and shady. She moved toward the side of the water and then leaned over it and lapped up some of the water before flopping down on her haunches beside the water. She stared in the water. She didn't even look like a Na'vi! How was she supposed to be a queen. She didn't have stripes. She knew a lot in her pride there were many lions in the pride that didn't have stripes but it still made her a little sad.
She wasn't sure if she could do this whole queen thing, she really didn't know if she could do it.
