Vilyum stood in front of the Mixers Lab, looking down at the letter. He couldn’t help but feel that he had just been there. It had been over a month, true, but still, he hadn’t expected to be back again, so soon, picking up yet another child. So far, despite the increasing number of children, they all seemed to interact well. That was a good thing at least. If this kept happening, though, he feared he may get his own reality TV television show. Or at least get an offer or two, he would never accept such a thing.
With a slight shake of his head, at the very thought of it, he approached the front door and pushed his way trough. This time, as he headed to the front desk, he already had the letter out and in his hand.

Apoxi looked up at the man for a few moments and smacked her face into the desk. "Hi. You're that guy, Vilyum right? Welcome back to Mystic Mixers. You were sent another letter about a child. You'll probably receive another in a month or so. The computer likes you. We've been seeing if it's a problem. I am soooooo sorry. Anyway do you know our policies?"

“Yes, I am Vilyum,” he replied. “Yep, another letter. When I first came in, I was told to expect more, that I was, um, allotted a larger number, but that you were just starting me out slow. I would be lying if I didn’t say I am a bit surprised to be back so soon, and again in another month or so?” At first a look of worry showed slightly on his face, but he quickly shrugged and his face reverted to, more or less, normal. “Oh well, but yes, I do believe I recall your policies.”

"Well most of the littlest grow in about a month, which is why we tried to space it at that level." Apoxi explained, shaking her head and pointing to a hallway. "Just go in and have a look. I'm sure you'll run into something that suits you."

“Oh ok, well that makes sense I guess,” he replied with a shrug. “Well, I guess I will go take a look around then,” he added as he headed towards the hallway.
He didn’t have long to wait; a short distance down the hall, he saw a most unusual little girl in a side room, pushing on a toy car with a hoof. She had equine ears, both arms ended with hooves instead of hands, and her lower body appeared to be a fish tail of sorts; all of that shared a similar coloration, a mixture of browns and beige. She also had a pair of large, feathery, beige wings, red eyes, and rather pointed canines.
As he entered the room, she looked up at him. She merely gave him a quick glance, and then returned to her toy. She didn’t get much of an impression of him; she was more interested in her toy. She hoped that maybe he would leave like the others and leave her to her car.
“Hello, I am Vilyum, how are you?” he inquired while introducing himself. She seemed like she cared more about her you, but he was still going to make an attempt.
She sighed slightly, and looked back up at him. “Hello,“ she uttered, giving him a slightly annoyed look. Suddenly, her expression changed into a look if curiosity. She second, longer look, allowed her to use her unique ability on him and it revealed something that she thought was interesting.
Unlike with most people, she couldn’t sense any fear, at least none pertaining directly to himself. This intrigued her greatly. The fear, it tended to bother her. She could interact with other kids of course, though she was a bit of a loner. The prospect of being taken home, though, by someone fearful was distressing. She rose to an upright, floating position, her tailed lower half suspended over the floor. “You’re not afraid?” she asked.
Vilyum was confused by her question; he didn’t realize that she met in general and not of her. He couldn’t understand why anyone would be afraid of her, specifically. “No, not at all. Why would I be?”
She didn’t realize that he was answering the wrong question, but that didn’t matter. While the word was a bit out of her vocabulary, it was a rhetorical question; she already knew the answer she wanted to know.
“Will you take me home?” she asked, hopeful.
“Well,’ he began, “We will have to talk to the lady at the front desk, but I don’t see why not. C’mon, let’s go.” At that, they both made their way back to the front desk.

Apoxi smiled when the two returned. "Hey you two. Getting along okay?" she teased, holding out the necessary forms to Vilyum to fill out. "All ready to get a home little one?"
Apoxi was another person who didn't really have fear of the child - she and Kayen interacted with all of the donors safely and didn't really mind them. Apoxi herself interacted with the children on a daily basis - bringing their food and making sure they were cared for. She especially dealt with the more monstrous ones that Jillian was too scared to mess with.

Oh, it was time to fill out forms. Vilyum absolutely loved filling out forms. There was nothing in this world that pleased him as much as filling out forms. As he filled them out, she nodded in reply to Apoxi.
“Hmm, a name; name, name, name,” he said under his breath as he considered. Turning to the girl, he asked, “What do you think of the name Ramona?”
She thought about it for a moment and replied, “Um, ok.” Having a name seemed kind of add to her. She was unused to it.
“Oh,” he started as he turned back to Apoxi, “Can she get a pet?” Turning back to Ramona, he asked, “Would you like a pet?” before she could answer.
She had seen the mixer pets before, but had never really thought she might have one. The prospect of it though, seemed nice. She smiled slightly and nodded. “Yes, please.”
