One day ago, she sent a message to Levi over groanspring to meet at the Dorm Registration Office after lunch to go dress shopping at the nearby Maul. While most of her clothes were sent to her by her lovely mother, who had made them, she liked the idea of shopping, especially with a friend... Besides, how could she say 'no' to dressing up someone else? It was nice to dress herself up, but doing it for someone else?
It made her smile just to think about it.
Before the meeting time, she turned up at the office, wandering in wearing a simple white dress, a handbag in hand; she didn't tell Levi, but she was ready to spend - if she could, she would definitely be paying for everything. Taking out her eyephone from the handbag, she checked the time to make sure that she wasn't late (what a miracle) before leaning against a wall to wait for her friend.

Lizzy!!! the tatzel called out with a skip and a jump...more jump than skip, really. Not a clue in her mind as to what to expect, the white haired ghoul was just excited about learning something new. Coming from a place where everything was passed down or made by hand claw, the idea of a maul was foreign. Her pocket jingled with every bounce as the silver seeds she brought shifted to her movements.
It was a good thing Lizzy was knowledgeable with the custom of prom. For someone of Levi's sort, fashion and co-ordinating clothes was not a known practice. If she was wearing a bathrobe, she'd be no less embarrassed than if she wore a jogging suit. Wiping the hair out of her face, Levi came to a halt infront of Lizzy and smiled, briefly bending with hands on her knees to catch her breath. Ready fer a night on tha town? It was time for an adventure; to an aristocratic world she knew nothing about. Or what she would consider ritzy...

That day Jove hadn't had any plans whatsoever. No video games with Ren, or homework to work on with Junko, or tea with Tomoko, just some free time to spend however he chose. And in all likelihood the pup would spend the afternoon holed up in his room tending to his mushrooms and reading textbooks for his classes.
So when he trotted past the Dorm Registration building and noticed two familiar ghouls, he wasn't in any hurry to pass them by. He hadn't talked with Lizzy much, but he definitely remembered her from their boat ride earlier in the semester, and it was hard to forget his meeting with Levi. And how her encouragement had puffed up his pride somewhat. The pup slowed down, and then walked right up to them with an expression that was unsmiling, but also relaxed in a way to show pleasure, and his fluffy tail wagged behind him in greeting.

"Levi!" She grinned, wrapping the ghoul in a quick hug before releasing her, letting out a soft, amused giggle, "I see that you're excited!" And excitement is contagious! She was about to link arms with her and lead her out before she realized that there was now an adorable a Jove standing with them.
While they hadn't spoken to each other much - partially because the boil don't really seem to speak at all - there was something about going through dangerous situations together that made her more than ready to call him her friend. Besides, despite how quiet he was, he had been decent company during the trip, and even helped with nailing that terrible giant squid!
"Heyyy Jove!" She giggled, before looking at Levi, and then back at the boil again, a thoughtful expression on her face, "Do you like clothes, Jove?"

Accepting the brief embrace of the black widow, Levi nodded in agreement at the notion of excitement. Somehow, being around Lizzy caused her to think less about wrestling and more about...well...whatever else was at hand. It was a gift, to be sure. Speaking of wrestling-
It's Jove, right? Fella! How ya doin' there with those guns 'a yours, hmm? There was no mockery in her words; the tatzel was serious. She lightly nudged him in the shoulder with a closed fist in a rough but supporting friendly gesture. A sign of her respect for him as a boil who could handle his own.
Though...he was significantly smaller than her... it was always going to be in her mind that he appeared small- like Lizzy!... so she didn't find it fair to tackle him as she might Demi or West. Levi knew how to keep such things to herself, however; the tatzel would not want to disrespect the pup.
Was Lizzy thinking of taking him along?...or did she just like what Jove was currently wearing?... she just watched and waited to see what Lizzy was getting at.

Jove's tail wagged harder at the greetings, and puffed up happily at the nudge Levi gave him. Her words earned her a brief head tilt though. She must have meant to say something other than guns, because Jove didn't have any of those, but he couldn't immediately think of anything she might have meant to say.
He could only puzzle so long before glancing over at Lizzy. Asking if he liked clothes was a good way to get a reaction from the pup, his ears perked almost instantly as he nodded his head. It wasn't so much that he liked clothes themselves, or liked clothes in the way that fashion enthusiasts and trend hunters liked clothes, he just loved to wear them. In his human form it made him feel less bare and fluff-less, and the feeling of snuggling up inside a large sweater was wonderful. And when he got clothes from other people they always came with a myriad of interesting scents for him to enjoy... It was part of the reason he had so many of Ren's sweaters tucked away in his room, it was the next best thing to actually being with his brother.

That is just so, so adorable.
Lizzy stared, wide-eyed, at Jove as the pup responded to her question with a couple of gestures. Judging from the way he was acting and the nod he gave, the answer to her question is a solid 'yes'. She couldn't help grinning at that as she reached out, pulling him into a quick, gentle hug, very much like the ones she constantly spoil Amrita with... Something she didn't get to do on that terrible boat trip to that horrible island.
"Would you like to go shopping with Levi and I then?" She tilted her head, still grinning away happily as she reached out for the boil's hand, "We're planning to get clothes for Prom, but I'm sure we'll be shopping for some casual clothing too." She cast a side glance at Levi, "It'll be fun, yes?"

At Jove's head tilt, Levi took a moment to figure out why he'd be perplexed. She then smiled and raised her arm in a flex, patting at her bicep. As a boil who used alot of gestures, she figured gesturing back would be a good way to explain things more clearly.
At Lizzy's question, the boil then began to describe his positive reaction to clothing and the wearing of them. When Lizzy suggested Jove go with them while holding out a hand to the pup, she took it as a polite offering in such a case (being she'd never been in this situation before). Tilting her own head with a bright smile, Levi offered her own hand to Jove as well. Don't see why not. More folk ta fiddle with tha better, I'd reckon!

Jove pulled back slightly before he could force himself to stay still. He knew ghouls liked to hug, and tried his best to be a little gentleman and let them hug him, but that instant flight response was particularly hard to shake when the hugs seemed to come out of the blue!
Thankfully the hug didn't last too long, and it didn't look like any of his peers were watching... Giving Levi a glance, he was curious as to what her arm-flexing gesture was supposed to mean. The pup didn't clue into the fact that it was an explanation for his earlier puzzling. He did notice both ghouls seemed to want to hold hands. It was like when he first met Yaya, she had wanted to hold his hand as well.
After only a brief expression of doubt towards the merits of hand-holding, he resignedly took both hands offered to him. Ghouls were silly, but he had to humour them...

She giggled as Jove accepted both her and Levi's outstretched hands before leading both students to the door, heading straight for the nearby maul; while she wasn't that close to either students yet, she was determined to have fun shopping. Thus, instead of stopping at the dress boutique she had her eye on, Lizzy headed for a more unisex boutique, selling all sorts of gowns, suits and... Well, costumes.
The store was pretty big, with two floors - the first floor had more formal attire, male clothing to the left and female clothing to the right, and the second floor contained costumes ranging from amusing clown suits to elegant marine coats. Changing rooms were located at the back of each floor.
"Here we are~" She smiled, letting Jove's hand go before eyeing him. She then looked up at Levi and did the same. Looking rather thoughtful, she then gestured towards the rows and rows of clothes, "... Well, why don't you take a look around and tell me what you like?"

She peered about curiously like a youngling at things they past along the way, tail winding in excitement. Eyes darting from one side to the other, they'd arrived at a place with TWO levels of clothing! TWO! The ritz...
Boil howdy... Staring at the walls lined with various colors and fabrics, the ghoul didn't know quite what to do here. She was out of her league. Ghouls back home might be enthusiastically running around right now as soon as they'd stepped through the door but- that wasn't Levi. When Lizzy let go of Jove's hand, Levi followed suit questioning her expression. The pink haired ghoul wanted them to look for themselves?... The tatzel looked down to Jove for a moment with a startled expression. Did he know what he was looking for? Oh- but boils wore different clothing than ghouls for formal occasions; at least in her town. She'd be on her own... choosing formal wear.
The ghoul sighed to herself. She could do this. How hard could it be? Alrighty, let's see 'ere... Her tail flopped and stayed low to the ground in a snakey wavering when she made her way over to right side of the shop. Dresses. Dresses were what Lizzy had mentioned earlier via groanspring as the female choice of attire for a prom... this was a start. She flipped through the hangers like it was a test. Which dress should she take?

Jove had only been in town once before, when his caretaker had driven through on their way to the academy. So the trip there was full of sights and smells and provided a myriad of things for Jove to pay attention to. It was a good thing the ghouls held his hands, they kept him from staring too long at things, or wandering off to follow a scent, or getting spooked by sudden noises and movements.
But once they were inside and they let go of Jove's hands, he stood still for a second to take in everything. There were so many clothes! Racks of them EVERYWHERE. Naturally clothing had to come from somewhere, and Jove knew his caretaker had an entire closet filled with clothing, but this... It was amazing!
Like a shopping pro he trotted right over to the first thing that caught his eye. Except it happened to be a long, red dress, the satiny fabric shimmering slightly in the lights overhead. Jove stared at it with an awed expression and then reached out to run his fingers across the fabric. It was so smooth!

ITS WEBDAY WEBDAY, GOTTA GET DOWN ON WEBDAY! WHICH DRESS SHOULD I TAKEEEE?
The song playing over the intercom made Lizzy frown rather hard, and she vanished for a moment, speaking to one of the shop attendants; when she came back, she was smiling, and the music had changed to something much more... Acceptable. There, now the mood to shop had been set!
"Just call if you need help, Levi!" She nodded with a grin, amused at her friend's reaction; to her, shops like this are rather common, after all.
She peered around the shop; Levi was enough to spot, since she was a tall ghoul, but Jove? It took a while for her to find the pup, and... He was in the female section. She paused, staring at him for a moment as he started to (in her eyes) play with the red dress, before giggling. Walking over, she offered him a hand to take as she smiled, "This is the ghoul part of the shop! For boils, it's on the other side... Shall I bring you over and help you pick then?"

Giving a thankful little wave to Lizzy, Levi kept to her mission at hand. This could be done. Ghouly ghouly... what would those ghouls in her town wear? Trying to awaken the images of various faces/figures in her memory, the ghoul began to look based on color. When she found something that looked about right, she held it up to herself to see it it would fit. Not really... it was a bit small...ah-! but there was more than one size maybe? She'd recalled her Ma trying to teach her about sizing when sewing. Different shapes and sizes of folk and such required sizing changes. Right! She looked through this style of dress and, after holding each one up to herself (not figuring that sizes came on any sort of labeling), she was perplexed as to what she did with it now. An attendant then passed over to her with a casual "May I help you?" and Levi lifted the dress for her to see warily. "Of course! Dressing rooms are this way," the working ghoul placed a hand on Levi's back, gently guiding her to the back of the shop and into one of the dressing rooms. "Just take your time." Well, at least she could dress herself just fine. Given that it was a loose requirement for ghouls to wear dresses of this nature, she didn't take too long getting it on. Peering back out from behind the long velvety drapes of the change room, Levi looked over the rows of clothing to find Lizzy's gaze. Was this for a prom?

Jove's confused expression was almost sorrowful. So he couldn't look at all the pretty clothes over here? It hadn't occurred to him that admiring soft fabrics and whatnot in the ghouls section could give one the impression he would actually wear a dress like that. And somehow he doubted the boils section would be so extravagant to the senses.
He tilted his head at Lizzy, obliging her hand-holding gesture once again. Maybe he had been taught to Shake in his past life...
The pup was quick to lose sight of Levi as she wandered off to browse the racks, and he wasn't tall enough to see over them so easily. So unfortunately he missed her show off the dress.
