There has never been, nor shall ever be a more simple joy than being beneath the peaceful sun and lapping up it's golden rays until you feel so saturated with warmth you could explode. Isatis was wholly of this opinion, not that she didn't object to a good rainstorm now and again- it kept life interesting. Because that was what she was all about. Interesting. From her foalhood she nurtured a kind and generous spirit, and a dismay that there were some folk in the world less fortunate than herself. This had lead to her adopting a life of vigilante banditing. In all senses of the phrase, she truely loved to take from the wealthy and redistribute as she saw fit amongst the poorer members of society. Today being one of her rare self allocated 'days off from the job' she was determined to relax. No training, no robbing, no company! It was to be a quiet day to herself. Whilst wandering she had found the most beautiful old oak at the edge of a wood, that offered a wealth of shade.

Perfection.

She snuggled down near the roots in the cool shade and rested her eyes lightly, but did not fall into too deep a sleep- for one must never let down their guard. Especially one who has a habit of light thievery.

User ImageMacaria was, to say the least, NOT a happy camper. It was too bright, the sun was in her eyes, she was overheating, the list went on and on.... But first and foremost, it seemed like everyone she saw was being waaay too lethargic than they should be because of it. What was wrong with them all?! It may not have been the best of days, but it was still a day that they couldn't afford to waste.

After all, every day open war with the Six grew closer... And the better prepared everyone was, the less blood would be shed, right...? Personally, Macaria couldn't care less about who won or what was wrong or what was right.

She just didn't want anyone to be hurt.

These thoughts in mind, she kept plodding along until she saw a light blue Azerin... Asleep under a shady tree without a care in the world. Picking up her pace, she trotted over to the sleeping figure with a scowl on her face. "What's the matter, scared the sunlight'll scorch you?"

Isatis started, jolted suddenly out of her vacant reverie. She blinked a few times in an attempt to better orientate herself and gazed up at the intruder. A pretty mare, she looked... flustered and out of sorts. Not that Isatis needed to look at her to sense this, her voice had been snappy enough.

Isa considered the question, and answered gravely, "Well, yes!"

Standing up and shaking off the grassy debris that had become attached to her in her solomnece she continued, "I don't know abouot you but my coat is so fair I'll start to frazzle soon! This one time, I took a nap in the middle of the day (at high noon!) and got so burnt my coat looked purple for a week!"

She nickered at the memory, "What about you? You're a fair one too! Don't you burn easily?"

Oh dear. It seemed Macaria had run into the kind of mare who took hardly anything seriously... If only she had known beforehand she might have passed her by.

Taking a step back to make room for the blue Azerin as she stood up, Macaria couldn't help but find the mare's rather frivolous talk kind of amusing. Not that she'd be caught dead admitting that.

"No, no I don't." She shook her head, even though the reason she didn't burn easily was because usually she didn't spend a whole lot of time in the sun...

Not one to linger on seemingly dead end conversations for long Isatis let out a soft "Huh" before gazing out over the field.

"I don't see anyone around, do you want to go for a run? My legs need stretching and I feel all achey."

She stretched out her legs and looked up at Macaria expectantly. It had been a while since anyone had bothered to stick around her for long- she didn't understand why other Azerin always seemed to be busy when she wanted to play.
