"I rubbed my face on it, it's mine."
Personality: Outgoing and jovial, he'll greet anyone confidently and with a smile. It would be wise to be wary of him, though, as he is a prankster at heart, and occasionally his little tricks can escalate into something very unpleasant, if not downright devastating. If he seems energetic or particularly enthusiastic, chances are he's planning something - his usual state is one of contented languor.
Because nobody is safe from his tomfoolery, he has a hard time keeping friends. He doesn't like to admit it, but he is actually ferociously loyal to those kind to him and desperately craves affection (he'd defend himself by saying that it's because he has very few connections in the city, but really he's just a love sponge), so his behavior can be pretty problematic! His usual solution to alienating someone he cares for is to bend over backwards making amends, going as far as he possibly can, to the end of his means. It's not an efficient way to live, but he's not about to stop having fun in order to make someone else happy! Except when he does.
Generally, he's a lazy fellow whose first thoughts are how best to benefit himself. This might just be a learned behavior, though, since he seems fairly easy to convince or bribe - even if he knows the reward he's promised won't be delivered, he'll probably do what you ask him to, assuming you're close enough to ask a favor in the first place.
Thoughts on the Forest: "Spooooooky place! Not too hot on those guardian critters, either. Brrr!"
Thoughts of Book Children: "People, people, people! Interesting, usually. Occasionally dangerous on account of not being able to take a joke."
Thoughts on City People: "They seem odd, but people's people, I guess. That text thing they do makes it so they aren't any good at puns."
Physical Appearance: Pretty average build, lean and not overly muscled. Shortish grey hair bunches and frizzes as it is wont to, and his warm, brown eyes are usually either half-lidded and content or wide and sparkling with mischief. He has an off-white forked tail with blue points (matching his hair color). He likes to dress in loose garments, particularly ones of light cloth, as he does not wish to impede his movement - chances are, when he needs to move, it is going to be very fast, and in unconventional directions. He wears no shoes for this reason as well - getting toe-holds is easier when your toes are available - plus, he likes being able to really feel the surfaces beneath his feet. He likes the fabric to be colorful, but not so loud that he stands out like a sore thumb... well. He does anyways, since all the city people are black and white, but.
Hobbies: Speaking in verse, practical jokes, climbing things that should not be climbed.
Birthday: November the Eighteenth.
Favorite Things: Warmth both thermal and emotional, the occasional string to play with, the flavor of (sadly non-existent) fish. Getting a good laugh, either with or at others. Small, delicate things, like tiny sculptures and cameos. Simple things like well-made food, pleasant smells, the brief quiet of an early morning.
Hated Things: Generally anything that makes skin and hair feel nasty. People who insist that he change his ways.
