It had been a day, give or take, after her last message to Mot on Groanspring, on a comment regarding the upcoming prom. She had enjoyed his company the last - and actually first outside of classes - time that they met... And not because he took her to an arcade and won her an adorable little fail-pirate Foxfire plushie either! He was just fun and comfortable to be around.
Nicknamed 'Fluffy', the Foxfire plushie now has a black cowboil hat perched on a side of its head, an elastic strap around it to keep it from sliding down. The black plastic ring that they had won by cashing in their tickets was now hanging off a thin metal chain necklace around Fluffy's neck. It was looking rather blinged out, really.
Grabbing her eyephone, she started on a new message before sending it off, 'Hey Mot! I'm dropping by in about 15 minutes with Fluffy! <3' Then, brushing her hair one last time to make sure that it looked presentable, Lizzy grabbed the aforementioned plushie and left her room to make her way to the reaper dorms.

The hatted reaper was spending his day shining up some of his collection of display pistols. They ere not functioning weapons, merely replicas, but they were mostly for decoration anyway. Homework? Sure, he did homework. It was right on the other side of the room growing in a jar. That was homework, working on itself. Good job, homework!
Mot sat back after a while, stretching his arms behind his head and leaning on the back two legs of his chair, when his phone suddenly buzzed on the table, startling the boil. With a yelp, he fell backward, tumbling head over heel.
After a short moment, he crawled to the desk, reaching for his offending eyephone and dragging it down with him. With a grunt he leaned on his desk from the floor, checking the phone. Oh, it was Lizzy! She was coming over, with Fluffy. Ah yes, he did invite her over sort of didn't he? Mot responded with a "Looking forward to it!" before looking over his room.
Uh... huh. Kind of a mess. The desk with his cleaning equipment could be left as is, but this floor covered in clothes, boots and Jack knew what else needed to go! This was no way to impress a guest. Mot was about to tidy up, when he looked back to his desk. Oh... there was a spot he missed on a shotgun. No no, that would not do at all! Mot leaned over and grabbed a cleaning rag, working on the nasty spot he had missed.
Well, though he meant to be only a second, he started to get right back into cleaning again, forgetting about his room.

Receiving the text reply made her smile, and she quickened her pace. It wasn't long before Lizzy turned up at the door of Mot's room; it was easy to remember, since he was just located next door to Mac, so she managed not to get lost on the way up.
Stopping to smooth out the creases on her skirt, she then knocked on the door with her knuckles, pausing before calling out, "Mot?" Another knock and a pause later, she took a step back to wait for the boil to open his door.

Mot had gotten into his hobby so deeply, he had forgotten about Lizzy coming over. That is, until there was a knock at the door. Mot paused his work, looking behind him at the mess of laundry on the floor. Oh right... that.
Lizzy called him out and knocked again, which resulted in Mot yelling out, "Just a sec!" As nicely as he could while rushing around his room, kicking his things into a pile and shoving it all under his bed.
There! A clean room!
Dusting off his hands and a proud strut to the door, Mot opened the door and smiled at Lizzy... and Fluffy Jr. "Hey guys~. Come on in." Mot stood aside and held out an arm towards his so very awesomely tidy room. Which had been tidy all that time. Yep.
"Fluffy is looking slick, I must say." Mot complimented, eyeing the bling and hat. "I approve." He was not biased. Not at all. Who said he was? Lies! "How are you?" He asked to Lizzy. No, not to Fluffy.

She didn't mind waiting, really, and it didn't take very long till he opened the door anyway. The first thing she noticed, was the fact that it wasn't cluttered up with all sorts of things like a certain other person's room. The second thing she noticed? The decor. The rather awesome decor; it might not be something that she'll decorate her own room with, but...
"You're really a cowboil," She commented fondly with a nod before walking into the room with a light chuckle, noticing his desk with... Is that a gun on it?
Spinning around to face Mot, she held up the plushie with a grin, "I'm glad! I'm sure Fluffy is glad too~ The cowboil hat does add something special, huh?" Lowering the plushie, she offered the boil a hug before taking a step back, examining the room further before putting Fluffy down on the edge of the bed.
"I've been good!" She smiled; she had resolved a lot of personal issues since the last time they met, so she was feeling a lot better compared to before, "And excited for the upcoming prom! It'll be my first, although I guess it won't be the first school dance I'm attending..." She then paused momentarily, her smile widening, "Yourself? Are you excited for it?"

"I really am. You doubted me?" He asked with a grin. He was proud his room was being admired. He did work ever so hard on it, after all.
Mot nodded, smirking at Fluffy again with its double patches and cowboil hat. Adorable, in a fail kind of way. He returned the hug all too happily, slipping his thumbs in his pocket after ward. "I am! I love a good party." He replied with a smile. "Good excuse to fancy things up a bit."

"Maybe, maybe," She replied with a grin before proceeding to scan the room in a rather obvious manner, as if looking for something, "I don't see a life sized Epony though~ Don't all cowboils have one?" She was teasing of course, judging from her tone and the way she was giggling after the words left her lips.
"Ohh?" She blinked before smiling, raising an eyebrow, "And what is your definition of a good party? I think this Prom's theme is right up your alley, actually~ Speaking of fancy though... Let's start seeing what you have to wear for Prom, shall we?" She tucked her hair behind her ears in an attempt to look serious (not really working though), since picking out an outfit was her purpose for dropping by. Well, not her sole purpose.
"Oh! Did you find yourself a da-" She stopped, going a shade redder before continuing, "A partner for Prom yet?"
Meanwhile, Fluffy the plushie was watching from the bed. Uh, if plushies with their eyes covered by eye patches could watch anyway.

Mot grinned at her joke. A life sized Epony indeed. "Might get a bit cramped in here if I did."
Mot's grin remained, nodding. "Oh all kinds of parties." He grin subsided for a modest smile. "Parties I hated, parties I snuck in on, all kinds." Mot nodded as Lizzy suggested he pull out the clothes for prom. He hadn't done much, actually. He had a separate place in his closet for good clothes, so what more did he need to do himself? Mot walked across the room to open closet for Lizzy. The clothes were all wild west themed. All of them. Not one article of clothing wasn't from the wild west era. Luckily, he had quite an assortment of more refined articles of clothing, from sharp suits to fancy leather trench coats.
Mot watched Lizzy silently as she almost let slip a word she obviously didn't say. He could two and two after hearing her corrected question. He smirked at her obvious cover up, amused. "Nope." He answered simply. He could tease her, but he wouldn't. Not right then, anyway.
All the while, beady not-eyes watched.

"What about an Epony?" She smiled as she followed him over to the closet, "The Minipet~ Do you have one of those? And oh? Sneaking into parties? Sounds... Fun."
Looking into the closet, she didn't know if she should be impressed, amused, or maybe a mixture of both. After looking through his clothing (which she would feel embarrassed about if not for the fact that Mot had invited her over for this, sort of), she turned around to face the boil, examining him while tapping her chin, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"Your hat," She gestured at the hat he was currently wearing before resting a hand on her hip, "Will you be wearing that to Prom?" She has a feeling the answer would be a 'yes' though... After all, not many people will wear a hat indoors, especially in their own room!
"No? Really?" She looked genuinely surprised, but that soon gave way to a small smile and a giggle, "I thought you would have ghouls swarming around you by now... Thinking of asking anyone, then?"
Big Brother Fluffly is watching. Never not watching. Lizzy might also be watching the plushie back; it acted as a sort of buffer, stopping her from (potentially) spazzing out.

"Oh. Yes, I do." Mot said with a nod of his head. "I think its mulling around in the closet somewhere with the other minipets."
"My hat." He echoed, as she eyed his prized possession. "Yes." He quipped back without a pause. Never not hat.
Mot laughed at Lizzy's shock, grinning ear to ear. "You think? Hahaha! I dunno, I guess I'm not trying hard enough." He chuckled a bit after, finding the idea of being a ladies man hilarious. Even though he totally was, whether he meant to or not. He tilted his head a bit at her question, crossing his arms in thought. "I dunno. I hadn't thought about asking someone, honestly." The only ghouls he knew were... well hey now, he only knew Lizzy, since she was the only ghoul he'd spent the most time with.

"I knew it," She giggled before turning back to the closet, shifting through the clothes; his usual wear might not be 'casual' by any means, but they weren't formal enough to wear to prom. The suits though... They'll clash with his hat. For sure, without a doubt. Unless he is willing to wear another hat... Which is unlikely.
"Hmmm, how about this?" She had to stand in tiptoes to take the hangers off, but she started dragging out a couple of trench coats, laying them down on the bed before going back to the closet to pull out some formal tops and moving over to the bed again. Holding up each top, she tried to visualize them under each coat, and ended up with one top, putting the rest back into the closet.
Now it's just a matter of picking a coat to go with it. She didn't even know there were this many different types of coats for boils! It made her rather happy, really.
"Change into this," She held up the top that she had chosen with a grin, "Leave the hat on~" No, don't change in front of her. She'll probably freak out. In fact, Lizzy pointed at the bathroom while holding up the top, directing him to it, just in case he's not thinking straight or something.
"I never thought that you needed to try," She replied, tilting her head before pausing, her blush becoming more evident now as she shuffled her feet, feeling nervous and shy all of a sudden, "Well, in that case... Every cowboil has a partner, right? Can I be yours?"
... That sounded off somehow.
"A-ah... Um... I mean..." The floor suddenly looks really, really interesting.

Mot watched as Lizzy poured through his clothes, using her powers of clothing know how to find the perfect combo. "You really know what you're doing." He commented idly. "Did a lot of people ask for help other than me?" Maybe Lizzy was a busy gal!
Mot took the collection of clothes Lizzy had offered him, draping them over his shoulder. "Oh I will. This thing ever comes off." Leave the hat on. Such a silly thing to say. The only time he took it off was when he couldn't wear it, or that fateful orientation at Fitness club when he wore a hoodie instead. Brrrr. He felt a chill thinking about it.
Before Mot left to change, he watched Lizzy as she said something else. Was she asking if he'd like her to go with him? But she seemed like she didn't mean to say it. Did she not mean that? "Sure, if you want to be." He said with a smile. "Be right back." He never had a second thought about saying yes. Any ghoul who asked he would have said yes.
Mot left Lizzy for a moment to go into the bathroom to change. He liked the clothes she picked, but he liked all his clothes. Still, an excellent combo! He had some boots with spurs that would look great with it!
A while later, Mot emerged, fully dressed. "How is it?" he asked, walking in a circle for her to see.

"A couple, yeah," She laughed, smiling fondly at Mot, "I love it though, when people trust me enough to ask me for help, even if we don't know each other well... It's good practice for what I'll be doing in the future, after all. I don't mind being busy if it's for this."
Is that a yes? Did he just say yes?
She looked up from the floor just in time to see him disappear into the bathroom, a look of disbelief on her face. He said 'sure', right? Walking over to the bed where she had put Fluffy, Lizzy picked it up and flopped down there, on the edge of the bed, careful not to mess it up; hopefully, Mot wouldn't mind her sitting there. She wasn't really thinking at the moment.
"He agreed!" She stared at where the plushies eyes would be, if not covered by the eye patches, "He agreed!" She repeated before nuzzling into the plushie with a delighted smile, only lowering the plushie to sit on her lap when the boil emerged from the bathroom. Looking him over, she nodded before giving a smile and thumbs up.
She might also be blushing.
"Now for the coat~" Standing up, she placed Fluffy back down on the bed before picking up the first of three coats she had picked out, holding it out for the boil.

"Oh? What will you be doing in the future? Fashion consultant?" That's what it seemed like to him anyway. Fitting for her.
See what I did there?
Had Mot overheard Lizzy's conversation with Lizzy, he'd have laughed. Seeing as she seemed so surprised that he had said yes, as if were an uncertain outcome.
Was she blushing? Probably, but Mot was kind of used to her doing that. Was he that dashing? Mot strode toward the bed where Lizzy had laid the coats. Oh, he did like these ones. Of course he loved all his clothes, but still. Mot took the one she offered and slipped into it, adjusting the collar as the coat rested onto his shoulders. "How is this one?" He asked, not bothering to look for himself just yet. Lizzy knew what she was taling about, and she was now his Prom date partner, she she got full say in what he wore for sure now.

"Fashion designer," She corrected with a light chuckle as she tilted her head, looking Mot up and down with a rather serious expression. From her tone, it was rather obvious that not being in the line in the future was not even an option; then again, it would make sense if Mot knew what her family was into, "Hm... Hold on... Feel like there's something missing." Taking a side step, she grabbed the second coat off the bed and held that out for the boil; doesn't matter if it's another black coat.
There is a difference! Really!
"Take it off and try this one?" She nodded, paused, frowned and then quickly added, "The coat, I mean..." She then made a mental note to stop tripping over her words and saying the wrong things. Or saying things that seem to imply something. For some reason, being around Mot made her do that a lot.
Probably because he spoils her by playing along.
