Location: Kanto, Celadon City
Street corners weren't the most glamorous places to ply one's trade, but Hitsuzen had the best luck there. Bored pedestrians were likely to stop and watch and toss him a coin or three.
After a quick breakfast and some stretching, he went for one of the busiest streets in the city. He unfolded his mat, and set it out on a nice open space, where pedestrians seemed to be especially numerous, then took his boombox and a can out of his backpack. If he ever managed to save up enough, he'd probably wind up getting a bigger boombox -- but for now, a cheap one would have to do. He switched it on, picked a track, and went straight to dancing.
At least he'd never been shy -- trying to outdo gravity had gotten less intimidating after his first few falls in public, and he didn't let the occasional applause or murmurs, or the sound of a coin clinking into his can, interfere with the rhythm in his head. He twisted and turned with one step, then slid into a flare, timing each kick to match the beat. He preferred style to power, but wowing the audience came first, even if it meant putting in more spins than he really wanted to do.

The sun hanged overhead, beating down in an unforgiving manner which made the air hot and dry. Even the mild breeze that lingered through the wood, snatching up loose cotton from off the branches of trees was rather warm... Pfft, with the way flurry of little white cotton spores blew about like a snow storm, Tobias couldn't help but feel the forest was mocking his discomfort. Though, he never known the summer to be any other way; a b***h. However, it wasn't as bad now that he lacked his thick, black, fur coat..The only thing he really had to worry about now,was his exposed fleshed being scorched by the menace that was the sun... At least the woods provided that.
The day's hunt had not been kind either. Offering nothing of substantial subsistence in spite his efforts--well aside from a few berries here and there, but it was hardly qualifying to be consider anything near sustaining, especially with the amount of energy put forth into finding them...
Exhaustion was starting to creep up on the Luxray's body, needing to find food soon, but the majority of his prey seemed to be hiding from heat, alluding hims as well. Great...What an undignified way to go. Starving to death while cooking under the sun. No, he wouldn't allow that. If he was going to die it would be in battle, not from lack of food and a little sun. Further on he pushed, his attention being pulled astray from a alluring scent riding off a western wind, letting his feet fallow suit from which it came, wandering out on the cusp of the Viridian Forest, just as it crept up on the bike trail of route 16.
What ever it was, It was warm and thick. Nothing like he had ever smelt before. Slightly sweet like that of honey, but with rich and savory scent that only seemed to accompany meat. Though, that was not the part that had caught his attention. No, it was the indistinguishable smell that stood through the most, gently heating his nose, causing his mouth to almost instantly salivate. What ever this divine smelling thing was. Tobias wanted it and now.
Normally he disliked the open areas in which humans reside. Loud, crowded... With no place to conceal himself while hunting. But, hunger had gotten the best of him as well as his common sense and before he knew, Tobias was well within the confides of Celadon City.
People all over flooded the streets meshing with the overwhelming noise of motorized vehicles, chatter, advertisements and just bustle of the city in general. Tobias had half a mind to pick off one or two people that crossed his path, but there was just too many-- that and the strange delicious smell kept him distracted and thankfully for them, at bay.
He was trying his best to pay no mind to his foreign surrounding, holding his focus on finding the source... However, that might not have been the wisest of choices, crossing a busy street without so much as looking to see if anything was coming. Not that he knew any better...
SCCREEEEEEEEEEEECCCCHHHHH~ A cluster of cars came to a sudden hault, the screeching of tires reverberating off building walls and echoing through the streets. For a moment fallowing a wave of gasps, everything fell silent.
Tobias found himself being thrown from off his feet, not entirely aware of what was going on. Everything was spinning.. His eyes weren't able to focus... Where was the ground..? Oh... There it was. THUD. He came crashing onto the corning of the street, mowing over a box that appeared to magically be spouting music. "...." Groaned softly to himself, as he lifted his body from off the ground.
"What the ******** is your problem! You can't go running off in front of cars like that!" The metal beast seemed to cry out angrily.
Of course, Tobias never having seen a car before didn't understand what it was or rules which they fallowed. No, what he saw was a giant metal creature attacking him for no apparent reason and being the aggressive Pokemon he was, like hell he was going to let them get away with it. Slowly, Tobias approached the vehicle, slamming his fist down into the front of the car leaving a sizable dent in it's hood.

Normally, Hitsuzen could keep his composure in the face of anything. People throwing coins at him instead of the can, trying to mess him up, yelling at him, trying to pull on his tail...he'd dealt with all of those in his own way.
This, however, was new. There was a sudden squeal of tires, and he tumbled out of a spin and back to his feet, rising and turning to look towards the street. There had to have been an accident of some kind, and if it was bad, Hitsuzen wanted to know, so he could take off before cops got there and things got messy.
Something knocked over his boombox and he winced instinctively. If it was damaged, he was going to have a hell of a time paying for repairs or a new one. He hadn't, however, expected it to be another gijinka -- one who seemed mostly unharmed by being hit by a car.
For a moment, he stayed frozen in a crouch, watching as the Luxray got up, approached the car -- and put a dent in it. "Hey -- wait a sec," he called out automatically, before he could stop himself.

Slowly, and heavy he inhaled. His heart rate finally starting to fall at ease along with the adrenalin the coursed through his body. As it died down, so did his sense of numbness; the familiar burn of torn flesh stinging his knuckles from when he had hit that car, and a dull but constant pain pressing where he initially collided with the ground. God, he really just felt like s**t. Perhaps wandering out into the city was not the best of ideas. To him, it seemed foreign and hostile.
Once his head thoughts settled, it occurred that another voice had called out, this time from off the side of the road. Tobias's ears drew forward, looking over to sound's possible origin. There wasn't a terrible lot of people occupying the area as someone had laid down a mat; possible to claim one's territory on that section of land. However, there was one person that stood out in particular--not because he was the only person standing there, but because of his long vulpine ears and tail that protruded from his body... Another like him perhaps? Whatever the case may be, he was starting to understand that he should probably drag his body off the road.
Slowly to crept towards the side of the road where the other was standing, completely ignoring the car he just ruined.. Though the driver didn't seem like they were going to go after him anytime soon. They just sat there half in anger and in awe of the damage that had been done to their vehicle. It was probably best they didn't pursue the pissed of Luxray anyway.
"What?" He said sharply, a bit of a growl lingering in his tone, clearly frustrated. Tobias didn't look intimidating at all... Towering nearly a foot over the other with his figure garnished in an array of scars, bruises and small spatters of blood--and on top of a dead stare which he kept fixated on the Eevee's body.

In the silence after the Luxray's attack on the car, Hitsuzen had a few moments to regret calling out to him. He was big, he looked like he'd been in more fights than accidents, and, judging by how he'd attacked a car, he had a temper. Hitsuzen was pretty sure he didn't want that temper aimed at him.
As the Luxray came towards him, he straightened slowly, keeping his hands up in a neutral gesture, and moved over to right his boombox. He was already tired from dancing for the entire morning, and he'd never been one for fighting anyhow; if this went south, he'd be in trouble.
"Are you alright? I mean, you got hit, didn't you?" He hadn't seen it, but he'd definitely heard it; it had sounded like a full-on collision, and it couldn't have been much lighter than that. The Luxray had blood on him, but Hitsuzen wasn't getting within arm's reach to see if he was hurt.

Never show any weakness...They'll see it as an opportunity to attack...
Tobias tried to calm his composure, but the dull pain pulsating throughout his body was creating more complications then he cared for. Desperately he longed to sit down and rest but his pride absolutely refused to let him display such inclinations.. Or at least to the best of it's abilities. However, the stiffness in his breathing and clutching of his battered side suggested otherwise. "I'm fine." Growled at the fox like boy, blatantly lying through his teeth. Tobias hurt like hell.
Between the hunger pains and physical damage, Tobias's body was starting to cave, legs buckling under him so that he fell onto his hands and knees. Perhaps he should of just stuck to the woods...Where things made sense and metal beasts didn't run up and attack you from no where.
Tobias folded his ears back so that they pressed the sides of his head, partially in annoyance and partially from worry. Normally fear was not something to easily overtake him... But neither was he conditioned to being helpless, especially in such a foreign environment. Still, verbally he would not retract his answer to the others question.
Lucky for Hitsuzen, it didn't seem like the luxray had much strength in him to attack; considering at this point the Eevee probably looked fairly appetizing.

Hitsuzen studied him; his expression said that he didn't believe the Luxray at all, but then again, it was a bad idea to mouth off to a bigger, stronger Pokemon. "I know that kind of fine," he muttered after a moment, checking his boombox for damage. "It stings."
With a sigh and a shake of his head, he packed it away. "You're not from the city, are you? Why come into Celadon?" The Luxray didn't seem comfortable in the urban environment at all, which was fitting, since the other pedestrians didn't seem comfortable with him, either. They were giving that section of sidewalk a wide berth, even though traffic had started moving again.
