The opening drumming to " Battle Metal" can be heard throughout the auditorium as the lights begin to dim. On the screen, a parchment paper appears, and a feathered pen writing out the words "HARDCORE" and "PALADIN" in elegant manuscript. The writing appears to be in blood. The drumming grows in volume as smoke fills the entryway, obscuring the audience from seeing Dion make his way to the stage. As the smoke peters away, he walks fully onto the stage to loud applause and cheers from the audience. "BATTLE METAL!" At these words, Dion raises his gloved fist as red fireworks light up the stage. The masked man proceeded to walk down the entry ramp. "Making his way to the ring, from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Weighing in at 220 lbs. He is The Hardcore Paladin, DIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOON NEEEEEEEEEEECURAT!!!" He took some time to shake hands with fans in the audience, then ran to the ring, sliding beneath the bottom rope. He removed his cap and took a deep bow, as if he were a medieval nobleman. During the chorus, he would walk to each corner of the ring, and at the crack of thunder, he would raise his fist, causing a shower of fireworks to erupt from the corner. He handed his cap to the referee and awaited his opponent.

At the ring of the bell, Dion would offer a lock-up with Chasm.

Being nearly 100 lbs bigger than Dion, Chasm smirked as he was offered a lockup. Reaching forward, he attempted to reach for the shoulders of Necurat, and simply toss him in to the nearest turnbuckle, to show off his domination and brute strength.

Dion felt himself being shoved into the turnbuckle. Damn, not only is this guy hard to look at, he's a brute to boot. I suppose I should show him what I can do...
He approached the bigger man and would attempt to bring him to his level with a kick to Chasm's right knee. If successful he would follow up with a close range clothesline.

Chasm was caught with the knee, but didn't budge. He simply looked down at where he took the impact, and then back up at Dion; but that was when the Clothesline came flying in, almost knocking him off from his feet.
He stumbled backwards, rebounding slightly from the ropes.

That staggered him. Gotta keep up.
Dion would quickly catch Chasm while he was stumbling with a Big Boot in an attempt to knock him down. If he succeeded, he would follow up with a Fist Drop.

As the Big Boot attempt came in, Chasm grabbed at the foot in front of his face. He then went to push Dion away by the leg, thinking it might topple him.

THE BOOT CONNECTED AND CHASM TOPPLED TO-
...Wait a minute, it was the other way around. Dion fell back, not having enough balance to keep him up from Chasm's shove, though he did manage to keep himself on one knee.

The earlier knee shot had hurt Chasm as he leaned down momentarily to adjust his knee pad. The crowd watched in amazement as nothing that Dion had done so far, had actually taken down the beast.

With Dion on one knee, Chasm stepped forward and gripped his head. Lifting him on to his feet, Dion was soon sent crashing down by a close-range and devastating Clothesline.

Dion felt the larger man grab his head to pull him up. Once he stood, though, he quickly grabbed Chasm's head and dropped back down, attempting a Jawbreaker.
