Pillars of the Gods In Pillars of the Gods, gamers will be sent through a futuristic world of war, betrayal, and plenty of plot twists. Unlike other roleplaying games, you will be quickly thrown into battle and become a part of a huge story. You will have a team of three characters, each a major part of the team. There will also always be a 4th part member which is a guest.
In this game, you will experience beautiful backgrounds as you walk and run through many cities, dangerous fights as you swing your deadly phaseblades and shoot your deadly weapons, and you will even encounter Elder Gods. Many different weapons and armors will be at your disposal as you travel across the many Megacorporation owned continents searching for the answer behind the war. Little do you know, the answer to the war is as old as the gods themselves.

FAQ What kind of game is Pillars of the Gods?Pillars of the Gods is a roleplaying game with turn based fights. It is based off the traditional 2d games that you saw in the beginning of RPG games such as Final Fantasy. Who is supporting, licensing, and essentially building Pillars of the Gods? Pillars of the Gods will be supported, licensed, and created by a single company, that being DRIM Productions, creator of other RPGs such as Elemental Genesis, The Isle of Muldraz, and the acclaimed series, Tombs of the Ancients. What will the fighting be like? The fighting will be much like old RPGs, turn based, and involving a lot of buffs, item using, and obviously strategy. You might have to do the occasional grind to be able to survive the next area. It's not supposed to be an easy game. In fact, unlike the modern gaming area, we haven't included any difficult setting, just to honor old RPGs. What system will it be on?We plan to release it in the Playstation Market, Xbox Arcade, but it will mostly be for handhelds such as the Playstation Vita and 3DS. It will also be released for the older systems such as the DS and PSP. For those who really want an experience, we are releasing a limited edition Gameboy Color version. There will only be 1000 copies made. It will in fact come with a limited edition Gameboy Color. Because of how much we had to pay Nintendo to do this, each will cost roughly $200 dollars. We know this is a huge price, but look at the eBay prices for when we did this with the 1st Tombs of the Ancients game.

Plot The battle for supremacy in the Heavens began thousands of years ago, in the years of warriors and magic. It started with the Golden King, Defaeco, and the Necromacer, Drasta. The two had been fighting for millenniums in the Heavens and among the humans. Finally, in the decisive battle of Eldrasara, it seemed that Defaeco had won. In the heat of the moment, though, Drasta rose from his robe as a lich and supposedly destroyed Defaeco. The appearances of the gods disappeared after that, though Drasta would forever reign throughout religion in years and years to come. With each new religion, events occurred to transfer religious views back to him. Skeletons rose from battlefields armed with magic, taking out any opposing forces. In the year 2245, megacorporations control the globe. Everyone is generally under the influence of one of these corporations and each corporation that rises is generally crushed. Sverd and Teptonmion generally rule the scene, however, the Fentor Media Corporation works behind the scene controlling generally all media. A pervasive police force controls any form of crime, keeping the streets safe but at the cost of little to no freedom. However, in 2239, a certain group of what could be called rebels formed. They were called runners. They would jump the rooftops and deal damage to major corporations, and usually did. It wasn't until a television show caught onto them and created a sport out of it that it stopped. Even so, there was one corporation they couldn't deal damage to. Sverd.] IN PROGRESS

The Graphics of Pillars of the Gods We are staying true to the usual visuals of our games, and going with the 2D graphics style. Though, also as usual, expect very vibrant colors and beautiful environments. As a company, we are still trying to prove that a 2d game can be just as beautiful if not more beautiful than a 3d game. 3d games may seem realistic, but that's not what we are going for. Pillars of the Gods is going further into the cartoon like form of what video games should be: a beautiful fantasy world. People continue to ask us if we will have any 3d cutscenes. To that, we answer with a loud no! However, there will be 2d cutscenes with movement so fluent, you might think it's 3d. New features! That's right!~ We have new features to talk about! Remember each character in our other games and how they each only had a set skill? Well, in this game, each character can advance whatever skill they want to! Along with that, they also have one skill that only they have which advances automatically. For example, Speed Demon has a skill that makes his attack bar move faster than the other speed bars. At Skill Level 100, his bar will move 4x faster than the others! That's 4 moves where everyone else gets 1! As usual, you get 10 skill points for each level up. Your character's special skill levels up one automatically, but you can make it level up faster by using your skill points on it. Sadly, we haven't added too many new features to this game. It runs on the same engine as the other games. We will let you in on a secret. A new engine is being worked on. That's all we can tell you for now though!~
