If there was one place in the entire of Destiny City Lilith felt most comfortable - beyond her mom's vet clinic, that is - it was the park. Home didn't count, that was outside the city limits! And who ever likes school, even if you board there? All that aside, the expanse of greenery, dirt and stone, was one of most relaxing places to wander. She knew the paths as well as any who walked them daily, and felt no fear mindlessly letting her feet take her wherever they may. Getting lost? In her mind, not especially possible - she had few doubts she could wander her way right back out. What about getting attacked?
The canine trotting merrily in front of her warded off majority of her concerns about that, along with the walking stick that could be an impromptu weapon. If all else fails? The hensin pen in her pocket would most certainly alleviate all fears if it was truly needed to get out of a situation.
All in all, it made for quite the chipper brunette as she made her way through the lush scenery. Summer was on the fast approach, enough that she dressed down in a light ruffled tank top and cream airy skirt. White flats were honestly preferred over sneakers for her, even on long walks through the park. Her head lifted, taking in another deep breath of the fresh air - fresh as it got in a city, anyways - and listened to the sounds of the joggers, fellow walkers, and children laughing. Judging by the cheers and sounds of heavy moment, she guessed she was nearing the area more dedicated to sports. Not that this caused her pace to slow or increase - just enjoyed the sounds and energy of people having fun in the sun.
If Raja could speak, she'd be begging Lilith to let her go play a game with someone. A few people had a Frisbee, and it was only through years of training as a pup and throughout her life that she didn't bolt after it. Games of fetch were not unheard of for the golden retriever - Lil might not always run around with the dog, but games of fetch were still a common occurrence and beloved pass time. A dog was still a dog, even if she was a working dog. Her brown eyes flickered wistfully again to the Frisbee before continuing on with her duty to guide her mistress. Maybe if it came close enough, she could sneak a grab..? Oh that'd be lovely...

Boring... so boring...
The ten-year-old swung his feet as he sat on the bench, waiting for when it would be his turn to play again. Baseball could seriously have its boring moments, especially when there were too many kids on the team and there was nothing to do but wait for the inning to be over so he could either bat or switch with another kid. They did the whole... changing positions thing until middle school when he could actually start picking what he wanted to play.
Probably second. Or short-stop. Those two seemed to get the most amount of action. Much better than the outfield. He hated it in the outfield. The only way he would ever do more than just stand around, watching bugs fly around, would be if one of the other kids let the ball get past them. Because seriously? How often could a kid hit a baseball into the outfield on their own? Not very.
That was why he tried to convince his coach to let him have his phone with him so he could at least be doing something than just standing around. Because really... by the time the ball got out to him, he could have had his phone put away and his glove on. Unfortunately, he'd been told no. He would have been on his phone now if his mom hadn't made sure to take it away from him before the practice game. Ugh.
She was sitting with the other mothers, chatting about makeup and shopping and who knew what else moms talked about. If she got to enjoy herself, why not him?
Peter looked up as he heard the ping of a ball getting hit, only to watch it go over the foul line.
Finally! Something to do!
"I'll get it!" he said, jumping up from the bench and running after the ball that rolled out of the field and towards the pathway where people were walking or jogging, almost running into a woman as he bent down to scoop up the escaped ball.
"Woah..." he blinked up at her, "Are you blind??" She had the dog and the cane... that was pretty badass.
