Alrighty, you guys are free to pick him apart and provide critique as you see fit! <3

User Image

"Snivy is a reptilian Grass-type Pokémon. Most of its body is green in coloration, while it has a cream-colored underside. A yellow stripe runs down the length of its back and tail, and it also has yellow markings around its large eyes. Yellow, curved structures protrude from its shoulders and bend backwards. These structures resemble leaves or small wings, as well as a fleur-de-lis when viewed from the back, and give Snivy the appearance of wearing a collar. It has a large, palmate leaf with three prongs on the end of its tail.

Snivy is very intelligent and calm. Being exposed to lots of sunlight makes its movements swifter."

«« Personality Details+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Narcissus is an individual who borders on megalomania but has yet to cross the threshold into total madness. Nevertheless he possesses many of the quirks that would set him apart, or indicate him as an individual who would give cause for concern. Unlike a narcissist (which his name might falsely attest) he desires to be powerful rather than charming and would settle for fear over love. This nature brings with it both benefits and disadvantages within the public eye, though on a personal level, he regards everything as a positive...

1. Ruthless
"Narcissus is without pity, compassion or mercy. He will do whatever is necessary to achieve his end goals even if the consequences are fatal to those around him. He has no regard for others, and while they might implore him to be considerate they, more often than not, are completely ignored REGARDLESS of whether they would be considered his acquaintances. Nevertheless, it would be a mistake to consider him reckless in his actions, he might be ruthless but he is no fool."
Negative Trait

2. Relentless/Determined
"He'll get what he wants, even if it takes him a considerable amount of time. Whether it's wearing down an individual until they submit to him, or simply acquiring something he desires, he won't stop until he acquires it. In some respects this might be regarded as a positive trait, particularly if he is operating in a manner that assists another, but given his often selfish agenda this is more regularly a bonus only to himself."
Neutral/Negative Trait (circumstantial)

3. Shrewd
"Both a blessing and a curse to those around him, Narcissus has a sound sense of judgement and can be uncannily accurate. This is of benefit to those who gain his favour as he will be inclined to point out what might assist them, however, in more cases than not, such a trait is reserved for personal use."
Neutral Trait

4. Unpredictable
"Narci's methods are almost always open to debate; there's no guarantee that he'll use the same methods twice and as a consequence he's highly unpredictable. However, in relation to the general populace and how he might elect to operate around them, he can also be regarded as a bit of a puzzle. Initially perceived as entirely selfish and perhaps a dangerous entity, few would expect that this particular Gijinka has rare moments of 'clarity'. This comes in the sense that every now and again he might display a shred of common decency, or at least, this is how it appears. Occasionally and even without warning, this gijinka may elect to show his charitable side to another and assist them in their own pursuits.

Selfless? Not completely, nothing in Narcissus’s world comes without a price."

Neutral Trait (varies based on circumstances and intentions)

5. A hidden, soft centre?
"He's not completely immune to the power of love, friendship, loyalty and all that sappy 'nonsense' though he might imply that he is. In fact, he has incredibly strong defences in relation to this rather ridiculous concept - he would be the first to claim that such superficial emotions were obstacles and distractions that prevented him from achieving his end goals. However, he is mortal and there are very few creatures in this world completely devoid of emotion. It may not be evident from the get-go, but there is something there, even if it might take many, many years to drag it out."
Neutral/Positive Trait (redeeming quirk, though small)

In summary, one might express concern for his decidedly 'negative' tendencies and it wouldn't be inaccurate to call him selfish. He is a man who has very set goals in his mind, knows exactly how to achieve them and will stop at nothing until he does. He has no time for distractions, no time for meddling individuals that may wish to 'reform' him and absolutely no patience for the weaker, pacifist individuals that exist within society. Driven and in possession of a seemingly one track mind, it would be difficult to discern if any more positive qualities exist beyond what behaviour he demonstrates on an immediate level but, it would also be unrealistic to assume that he is entirely without redeeming qualities - after all, at first glance even the most negative of traits can be exceptionally useful if employed in the correct manner.

Strengths:

1. Decisive
"He knows what he wants and knows exactly how to get it. However, in relation to other situations that might crop up in his life (or those lives of who he grows fond of); his shrewd nature permits him to assess any issue that is posed to him. From there he can form what he regards to be the most appropriate plan of action - these are usually successful, more so when he elects to be 'selfless', but not a guarantee. Regardless, he is quick to act and quick to issue orders as and when required."

2. Not Easily Fooled
"He's a shrewd creature so don't attempt to trip him up on a mental level. If you want to beat him the best bet is to foil his plans AFTER he has set them in motion as opposed to attempting to dissuade him before then. That being said, he might be shrewd but he's not a mind reader and as such, if you've got an incredibly good actor on your hands, there's a damn good chance he might actually buy their act with enough encouragement!"

3. Physically Fit
"Trained with pure power in mind, he has a high level of endurance and quite a bit of strength. Don't request that he acts with any form of grace though, he can step quietly (after much practice) but not at speed and he can't dance to save his life."

Weaknesses:

1. Lack of Tolerance
"Narci is not neutral, nor is he passive. He regards all those who pursue such things to be weak and indecisive. He has no patience for these individuals and will generally act with a great deal of hostility. This can be a blessing in achieving some of his goals, but an absolute curse whenever an individual attempts to dissuade him with good reason e.g. he could end up seriously hurt. This lack of tolerance and patience has ultimately led to him being incredibly critical of those around him and largely unapproachable by the more neutral or pleasant individuals within society."

2. One-Track Mind
"He's completely inflexible and will not be dissuaded from what he wants. While he might change up how he intends to achieve his goal, he will not be completely deterred from it. Regardless of how dangerous, foolhardy or unrealistic it might seem to others, while he is positive there is a logical way to attain it, he will continue to chase it. As a result he is exceptionally stubborn, exasperating and some might even regard him as delusional even if, in the end, there is method to his madness."

3. Debt Collector
"In his world nothing comes without a price, or at least this is how things are perceived and he is not quick to dispel this view. Unfortunately, this can result in certain things backfiring, particularly if he is having a very rare moment of genuine charity! Those who know him, or catch word of him, are likely to be wary of his offers of assistance even if he DOESN'T intend to collect a debt. In essence, he alienates himself through his views and this one in particular goes a long way to achieving this isolation..."

4. Emotional Fortress
"He is not an individual who seems to believe in love, loyalty or friendship. On the surface he regards these concepts to be distractions and, ultimately, obstacles. However, he is a living being and is no psychopath. Deep down he possesses the ability to feel more positive emotions in his life, but his one track mind ensures that these are suppressed and will remain that way without serious encouragement and work. This has some major disadvantages, ensuring that the general populace regard him as selfish and dangerous individual who doesn't appear to possess any redeeming features. He is an individual to be feared (something he would actively encourage) and to be apprehended rather than given the benefit of the doubt. To the vast majority of individuals he is likely to be perceived as a creature incapable of charity and as such, in an ironic shift, he might have his sentiments of intolerance returned."

Additional Notes:
Narcissus is designed to be an anti-hero in many respects. He possesses many quirks and qualities that would immediately place him into the role of antagonist (and you would be right to do so) but on closer inspection, you will be able to see that each of these quirks can be twisted and adapted to suit shifting circumstances and development. On the surface he is designed to come across as a man bordering on megalomania and completely ruled by his single-mindness. However, on closer inspection it is my hope that the more redeeming features, even if unseen at first glance, shine through. While he might be decidedly selfish, there is room to evolve and adapt in accordance with various roleplay scenarios and plots.

Though I will say it now - if people anticipate he'll turn into a bunny loving, daisy chaining, rainbow dancing hippy then they might be in for a great deal of disappointment.

«« History+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Narci's history was neither abusive nor pampered. By many standards he lived a comfortable life even if he was born into less desirable circles. This wasn't to say that this particular Snivy was born in the ghettos, on the contrary, he was born into a comfortable home with a decent trainer. Well, you could call her a trainer but as a Team Rocket grunt such a title was probably open to debate. Even from a young age he was educated and trained, raised to fight in a manner that would secure the overall success of his trainer. Weakness was inexcusable, mercy was unheard of, his duty as the obedient pokemon of an aspiring grunt was to completely annihilate the opponent so that she could attain whatever it was that she was in pursuit of.

Jewels, rare pokemon, some undiscovered or top secret technology?

These were her goals and he was one of the tools she was supposed to use to acquire them. Unfortunately, as seemed to be a general trend in his particular department, his trainer soon made it abundantly clear that she conformed to the overall cliche of being completely and utterly incompetent. The Snivy was good, he would be so bold as to claim that he was damn good, but he couldn't possibly do some of her more ridiculous schemes single-pawed. Her plans simply weren't viable and she wouldn't be told otherwise, even when her superiors became increasingly exasperated by her behaviour. Alas, he exercised patience for a time and with it, he wasted much of his youth. It should come at no surprise that after a considerable number of failures his patience wore thin. He spoke with other pokemon within his department and, during the downtimes when their 'grunts' were off cooking up more ridiculous schemes, the vast majority expressed disillusionment or a sense of acceptance. They were born into this life and evidently they were doomed to be associated with complete failure.

Alas, the Snivy disagreed and while he may have held his peace for the time being, continued observations of his trainer ultimately led to one very important statement - if he were human, he would do a much better job than the group of them combined. With further consideration, he even noted that perhaps, with a little encouragement, the more disillusioned and driven pokemon might be persuaded to join his cause. Unsurprisingly these musing eventually developed into a form of resentment and as he too became disillusioned he anticipated that he would be stuck in his "I'm with stupid" role for the foreseeable future.

However, in a rather unusual twist of fate (but not necessarily unwelcome) he found himself in the company of the rare Musharna. Having been located in one of his more neutral and pleasant dreams; he had been in the mood to humour the dreamwalker. It was here that he was given a proposition - according to the Musharna, Narcissus’s desire to be human was a plausible and viable pursuit. Not only that, but the Musharna also implied that he could assist him in achieving this goal - would there be a price? Narci's was not without his suspicions but according to the Musharna there was none...
