Seth giggled and nodded. "Ahuh. S'no problem," he said, glancing back to make sure the three or four bags his tail was holding were still there and secure. As a sloth spawn, like Edes, physically carrying things wasn't exactly his cup of tea but at least his tail didn't ever seem to notice. Er, the extra weight was never noticed, anyways.

"Mhm. S'not fun t' stay inside all th' time," Seth commented back, shifting the few bags in his hands a bit. They weren't the heaviest ones but it was a little awkward with how he was carrying everything. "So you're gonna have babies soon? How's tha' work? I don' understand an' daddy won' tell me. Neither will sissy." Once again, his lack of knowledge on the world showing through, his innocence only making him seem a good deal younger in the process. It wasn't his fault Damon never told him about anything and made sure he was kept free of knowing such things in the process...

Seth grinned widely at the thought of lunch. He had to skip it in order to make it to the store in time to meet up with the older spawn and looking at all the food had made him really hungry. "Lunch sounds good," he replied, once again shifting the bags a bit so that this time they didn't occasionally scrape against the ground due to his much shorter height.

"That's what everyone tells me, though," Seth said with a soft sigh, pouting. The pout quickly faded as he was patted on the head and the topic quickly changed to something else. "Can you carry this one? It's got bread stuffs in it," the naga asked, holding up a longer bag to the spawn. Indeed, it was one of the few larger bags that, despite being the lightest, was the most annoying to carry.

Seth shook his head. "No, not really. You got cookies? I like them bu' I don' mind what we have for lunch," he replied, which was the truth. He never really minded what he had for meals so long as it tasted good and didn't involve some of the more exotic foods. Sometimes they were just a little too weird for him, like snake meat or even bugs!

"M-m-me have kids?" Seth asked, wondering if the older man meant to get pregnant like him, or be like Cody and have his partner be the pregnant one. He figured he'd have a girl wife, like Ily would be for someone, which made a little more sense in his young mind. "I-uh... Where's Cody work?" he asked, quickly changing the subject off himself.

Seth wiggled happily in excitement. "Yeah! Tha' sounds great!" he replied. Mac and cheese was amazing! Chicken was way better but it was his close second favorite, after cookies that is. Nothing other than chicken could beat out cookies, and he wasn't entirely sure why.

"You don' know? Well, at least you know he's not doing somethin' dangerous like my dad," Seth said, glad he could see the townhouse coming into view. He was getting tired and the store wasn't even that far! At least Edes was going to make him lunch. "... Stairs," the naga said flatly, staring at the steps up to the townhouse door with an irritable look. Stairs, his nemesis in the world. A cruel mistress to snakes and nagas alike.

Seth whined softly. "B-but... Stairs! I can't go up em easy anyways," he whined, moving around to the side and sliding the bags up to the top step so he wouldn't have to go up them and carry the bags at the same time. Being half tail sucked sometimes, especially in times like this. "If I get m' own house, I'm making sure there's no stairs at all in it," he grumbled, for once looking almost angry at something. It was a rare occurrence in itself for him to get irritated, and even rarer to be angry at something.

With a sigh, the naga maneuvered up the stairs after Edes, taking a bit of time to avoid scraping up his tail on them. Another thing he hated was cement and all the things that went along with it. "I hate stairs," he muttered upon getting to the top step. There may not have been a lot, but it was still annoying as all get out.
