Sub had asked Fawkes and Doragon to pick up a machine part from the Pokemon Lab on Cinnabar Island while Fawkes was headed that way to revive a fossil. Let's hope the pair make it there in one piece.

Doragon Zantenpesuto Doragon took out his Hoverboard and jumped on, taking out a Pokeball. "Let's hurry up already," Doragon said to Fawkes, as he took out a pokeball and threw out Vulpix. "It's a long long way to Cinnabar Insland." While Doragon waited, he trained for a short time, flying around and telling Vulpix to use ember to fire multiple fireballs.

Fawkes (pronounced: Fox) Knightley / Age 16

Fawkes ran outside after Doragon. He had to run to his room to get the amber. "Sorry about the wait." Fawkes pulled out his Hover Board and jumped on it, hovering about 5 ft off the ground. "You ready man?" He smiled. Cinnabar was quite a ways off, but at least they didn't have to go to the Unova region or something. Fawkes looked at his SNAG machine, examining the map. "So... we go that way." He pointed in the general direction of Cinnabar Island. "Alright. Come on." He took off towards the isle.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon stopped the training when Fawkes flew off. "Time to leave," Doragon said to Vulpix as they flew off. Since he already had four Pokemon, he left Snover at the PC so he had room for another catch. Snover was his strongest Pokemon at the time anyway. Chimchar and the others needed more training. As they flew, Doragon kept his eyes on the ground, looking for something he could catch.

Coming out from Mt. Silver and going through Route 28 the pair might notice a few wild Pokemon going about their daily lives, Pokemon such as Teddiursa, Ponyta, Doduo, Phanpy, Ekans, or even some in the water like Poliwag or Magikarp, there was even a few Natu and Aipom spotted in the trees, the Pokemon around Mt. Silver were plentiful to say the least.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon looked around and saw many Pokemon surrounding him. There was one that caught his eye. A proud and majestic Pokemon. The Ponyta. It would make a good addition to his Fire, Water, and Ice Pokemon collection. "You keep going," he said to Fawkes as he looked down. "I'm about to go catch a new Pokemon." He then flew away toward the land, where a Ponyta was running.

The Ponyta continued to gallop through the lush grass as it headed towards a small pond. As soon as the fire horse made it to the pond it stopped and began to drink from said pond, now was Doragon's chance.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon saw the Ponyta stop and flew lower, throwing out Chimchar. He made sure they were levitating above the ground. He crept behind the Pokemon and pointed at it. "Scratch Chimchar!" he shouted, pointing at the wild Pokemon. The Ponyta then raised its head to get hit by Chimchar's attack, falling into the water and screeching in pain. Doragon jumped off the board and pointed at the Ponyta again. "Scratch," he said, seeing the Ponyta get up. However, it then dodged and slammed into Chimchar with tackle. Doragon flinched. "Get it together Chimchar," he said. "Now use scratch again." However, the Ponyta gave no time for reaction, coming and slamming into Chimchar. He rolled over to a standing position, a bit bruised. "Scratch Chimchar," he said again. Chimchar then came at Ponyta and got a hit this time. The Ponya flew back and Doragon took out a Quick Ball, throwing it at the Ponyta. The battle may hae just started, but Doragon knew thye Quick Ball worked best at the beginning. It then opened up and sucked the Ponyta inside. Doragon waited until the light stopped flashing before he went to pick it up. "Welcome to the team Ponyta," he said with a smile. "C'mon Chimchar." They both then jumped back on the hoverboard and flew after Fawkes.

Fawkes flew onwards towards Cinnabar. He was currently only able to carry four pokemon, so Houndour decided to remain behind. He was tired anyways. Fawkes watched the Pokemon down below, tempted to go for a Teddiursa. He bit his lip and considered it before recalling he was on an assignment. He would simply have to find a Teddiursa later. He nodded at Doragon and pushed his Hover Board to go at max speed..
He turned when he noticed Doragon was approaching, wow he was fast at the capture. He called out, "what you catch?"

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon held up his Quick Ball. "A Ponyta," he said. "I'd show you if we weren't so close to water." Doragon looked down at the Water Pokemon below. He would have took Tympole out if he didn't think he wouldn't be able to keep up. Sighing, he then sped up.
Since they had a long way to go, Doragon wanted to train on the way. He wanted to try to get Chimchar to use Ember. "Show him how its done Vulpix," he said. "Ember." Vulpix then opened its mouth and shot out a flurry of fireballs, which turned to steam when they hit the ocean. "Just like that," he said. "You try." Chimchar nodded and then opened its mouth, letting out a small fire. Nothing close to Vulpix's ember. "Try again," he said. Chimchar nodded and opened its mouth again, letting out a small fireball. It was better, but not the many fireballs ember created. Chimchar then tried again, creating two fireballs. When Chimchar tried again, he got four fireballs. After a while, he created six full fledged fireballs. However, this was just by luck. They continued to train for a while until Chimchar finally got the six full fireballs. "You learned Ember Chimchar," Doragon congradulated. "You're first fire-type move." Doragon then looked back to Fawkes. Seeing as he was slowing down, Doragon then sped up.

Fawkes was patient, he didn't mind that Doragon was training his pokemon. He considered doing the same but realized it wouldn't work too great. Then he saw a group of Pidgey flying overhead. Fawkes grabbed a pokeball and released Eva. "Alright sweetie, we're gonna practice on your aim. Alright? Aim a shadow ball at that pidgey!" Eva braced herself on the board and released two shadow balls, both slamming into different pidgeys. "Pidg!" The bird pokemon looked down and began to charge, "crap! Eva! Let's go!" Eva released shadow ball after shadow ball, effectively knocking out a few of the pidgeys but some were pecking at Fawkes. "Doragon! A lil help please!" Fawkes swatted at one Pidgey and it pecked his hand. "Damn it!" Eevee slammed into the Pidgey and sent it back. "pidg! Pidgey!" The little bird dove once more. Fawkes noticed one Pidgey calling out more than the rest, as if giving orders... that was it! Fawkes looked at Eva, "aim at that one!"
Eva released three shadow balls and they all met their mark. The group froze and watched as their leader began to fall, but Fawkes was quick. He tossed a pokeball and it hit the pidgey before returning to his hand. The ball shook for a few seconds before it stopped. Fawkes smirked as the Pidgey began to fly away. He was about to call out Pidgey when the ball simply vanished from his hand. What the...? Oh yeah. He had forgotten for now his team was full. Oh well. He looked at Doragon, 'how's the training coming along?"

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon then stopped when he heard Fawkes call for help. He was about to when he saw Fawkes defeat the leader and catch him. His body jumped when he saw the Pokeball disappear. He didn't know that that happened when you didn't have enough bag space. Doragon grinned when he was asked about training. "Chimchar just learned a new move," he said. "Watch." Doragon then pointed at one of the forest Pokemon nearby. "Ember!" he shouted. Chimchar then opened its mouth and a barage if fireballs shot out.
Doragon patted his partner on the head and reached in his pocket, taking out Tympole's pokeball and letting him free. "Try to keep up," he said, pushing it off the board and letting it swim in the water. Typole splashed into the water and stayed their in confusion for a while. When he saw that Doragon was flying away, he swam as fast as he could after them. However, it quickly fell back and Doragon had to stop, returning it to its Pokeball. He then took it out again on the board. "Guess you'll have to train in the sky," he said to Tympole. "You're going to learn a new move today." Doragon then pointed. "I want you to use Supersonic," he said. "Its like growl. Try it." Tympole nodded and opened its mouth, letting out a high pitched noise. However, it wasn't Supersonic. It was still growl. "Try again," Doragon said. Tympole nodded and let out another high pitched noise, still growl. They kept trying the move and creating a large raucous, though Doragon didn't seem to mind. "One more time," Doragon said. Tympole nodded focused, letting out a powerful high pitched sound. Suddenly, a blast of sound came out and hit the water. "That's Supersonic," he said when Tympole did it again. "You learned Supersonic."

Fawkes noticed the way that Doragon jumped and chuckled. "It happens when your party is full. I simply forgot." He shrugged and watched Doragon train his pokemon, curious as to his methods. Seemed simply enough. He tried to think of something he could teach his own Pokemon and had an idea. Fawkes recalled Eva and tossed two other pokeballs, releasing his Sneasel and Totodile. Both Pokemon landed on the board but Totodile gazed at the water longingly. "Totodile. You can swim as soon as we're done, k?" Totodile straightened at the sound of that and watched Fawkes.
Fawkes turned to Sneasel, "use ice beam. Show Totodile how it's done." Sneasel nodded, "Snea." He took his place and opened his mouth, a small glowing blue ball began to form. After a few seconds of charging, Sneasel released the ice beam attack and it froze a small rock in the water. Fawkes looked at Totodile, "now you try." Totodile nodded and stepped forwards, focusing all of his power. The little blue ball started to form but it quickly vanished. Totodile grimaced and tried again, he managed to release the blast this time but it turned to water midway. Totodile growled and Sneasel smirked. "Be nice Sneasel. Try again Totodile. I know you can pull it off." Totodile looked up at his trainer with appreciation and nodded before stepping forwards. Totodile focused and opened it's jaw, a blue glowing orb began to form, then Totodile released it. The orb froze over about half a rock and Fawkes smiled. "Atta boy! Now we just gotta train! Keep on tryin', Totodile." Totodile was pleased and continued until his ice beam was good. It took about 10 minutes, then Totodile lept into the water and swam along behind the two. He managed to keep up but it was hard on the little guy, especially after that training. Fawkes reached for his Pokeball but Totodile shook his head and tried to swim faster. He was a definite fighter. Fawkes was so happy to have this guy on his team. He looked up ahead, it appeared as if they would soon reach the end of land. "We're going out into open sea for a while." He called back to Doragon.

Doragon ZantenpesutoDoragon looked back at Fawkes with the sudden news. This was perfect. When he saw Tododile swimming in the water, he decided the Tympole should try it. Doragon then noshalantly pushed Tympole into the water. "Keep up this time," he said back to him. "If the Tododile can do it, you can too." Tympole nodded and then sped toward them. It was still moving to slow, but Tympole would eventually get used to it and speed up.
