After Charlie left, Amrita wasn't sure how long to wait before going to see Lizzy. Mostly because she was afraid of the magic user staying around her. If Charlie had been cursed, who could say whether or not it was Amrita he was haunting! A good half hour of pacing had her grabbing for DC's leash; she didn't hook it onto the fire beast, jack knew she didn't want to get that close to him, but it still did it's job. DC looked excited and bounded to the door, dutifully following the little ghoul out the door, and Amrita for the first time was actually relieved to have him there. She might not have warmed up to him, but she did at least recognize that he protected her.
With her faithful fire beast at her side, the clearly nervous little Vetala made her way to the demon dorms, squeaking and jumping and startling at anything that so much as rustled a bush. The trip seemed to take forever, and an eternity later found her at Lizzy's door.
"Lizzy...? Are you there? I...I need to talk to you!" She called out in a nervous rush. ...She probably should have called ahead, but...if she was being stalked, Lizzy was in danger! It was best to do this quietly. Still looking mighty uncomfortable, Amrita did her best to be resolute and finally knocked on the door.

Lizzy hadn't been doing much; in fact, she was bored enough to be looking through groanspring when Amrita arrived. While she was surprised by the ghoul's unannounced visit and nervous tone of voice, she didn't think much of it, thinking that it might be the Demon Dorms that was making her uncomfortable... That was, until she opened the door and realized that she had DC with her.
DC. The fire beast Amrita had always been so frightened of.
"Hey~" She smiled, pulling the ghoul into a quick hug before stepping aside to allow both the ghoul and her minipet in; her room was back to normal - in fact, it was neater than before the whole 'cobweb' episode. Unlike Amrita's room, however, there was nothing fire-proof about her room; she could only hope DC does not accidentally set anything on fire... That would be pretty difficult to fix.
"Is something wrong?"

She seemed to brighten up with the hug, and after readily returning it she shuffled inside, DC right on her toes. The cleanliness of the room was noted, but there were more pressing issues at hand; the ones that plagued Charlie, which were probably her fault. DC wandered away from the ghouls to sniff out the new room, leaving no perch unperched in the process; luckily he didn't leave so much as a single scorch mark. Yet. Amrita on the other hand, continued to look worried.
"Um. M-Maybe. I don't...know?" Wiggling her shoulders she looked around, and then up at Lizzy. Well, it was probably good to just blurt it out, right? Like ripping off a bandaid, though she never did have the pleasure of experiencing it. "AM I CURSED?!" She asked, much louder than intended.

Closing the door, she wondered in after Amrita, staring at her expectantly with an expression that said 'Well...?' What came out took her completely by surprise, however, and she continued to stare at the ghoul, only with a bewildered expression rather than with her previous expression.
"WHAT?" She replied equally loudly before a hand moved up to cover her mouth; she got wayyy too caught up in the volume of Amrita's voice. Clearing her throat, she led Amrita to her bed, lifting her up to her bed before sitting down beside her. Then, she repeated the question, elaborating it in a softer voice and using a calmer tone this time.
"What do you mean 'cursed'?"

Amrita accepted the help onto Lizzy's bed like a fleshy little ragdoll, instantly pulling her knees up and tucking her feet under her. Now that she was away from happy-go-lucky Charlie she wasn't as calm about the situation. It honestly was starting to upset her that someone would go through great lengths to curse the boil when he's around her. That just...wasn't fair at all! She waited for Lizzy to respond before collecting her thoughts.
"W-well...just...I don't know! Charlie said that, um, someone cursed him when he's around me and..."

"---A-a-a-and..." Amrita stammered nervously as the phone began to vibrate on the table, visibly shifting back a couple paces. Oh god, was the magic-user here now, going to target Lizzy?! Her mind started to race a mile a minute, which left very little thought processes for anything else; more specifically for talking. She couldn't tell Lizzy to not pick up her phone!

Somewhere between the Reaper Dorms and the Demon Dorms, Mac was trying to keep up with Charlie while trying to call Lizzy, his mouth a hard line.

"Charlie's involved in this?" She blinked, unsure if she should be more or less worried about the current situation now that the demon was involved; he seemed like that type of boil to get worried about his own shadow following him, after all. Then again, she couldn't help but feel that he probably got into a whole lot of trouble because of his 'tendencies', "Cursed how-"
her phone started to vibrate, moving dangerously close to the edge of her desk.
"... Hold on, give me a moment," She pushed herself off her bed, patting Amrita on her head as she moved over to the desk, grabbing her phone before staring at the screen - 'Mac NotaPuppy'. She continued to stare for a moment before taking the call, a little surprised (in a good way though) that the reaper was actually calling her.
"Heyyy Mac!"
He should be able to tell from her tone of voice that she was smiling.

Amrita approved of the pat on the head, which effectively silenced a lot of her worries and let her relax a little bit. Thankfully there was still enough frantic thinking to keep her occupied while the Demoness answered the phone.
"Lizzy~" Mac greeted easily...and then paused. Oh, how should he approach the subject? Had she come to the conclusions that he already did? "Uhhh...is Amrita there? Probably spouting some nonsense about being cursed?" As he spoke to her, he was watching the determined back of Charlie's head, and the way the Demon Dorms started to loom in to view.

"How did you know?" She was amazed and puzzled at the same time; she even looked around her room, especially at the window, just to make sure that he wasn't there and... Teasing her or something. Without waiting for an answer, she continued, "But yes, she's here... Talking about someone putting a curse on Charlie when he's around her..."
She paused, casting Amrita a brief glance before frowning, "Did Charlie go to you, by any chance? Regarding the same problem?" That would explain quite a lot, actually.

"Yup." Mac confirmed with a sigh; she couldn't see it, but he'd pinched the bridge of his nose. "He understands it's not a curse now, so guess where we're headed?" The latter part was spoken in a very animated way, voice pitching to a a tone that just oozed with 'ohboyohboyohboy'. Charlie was a man on a mission and Mac was being the best 'wing man' he could be.
"So, uh, do him a favor and don't let her leave, okay? Jack, maybe even bring her downstairs or something, I don't know. Just...yeah." Mac seemed at a loss for words, which was fairly true. Not the most romantic place to tell a ghoul you liked her, but hey, whatever worked.

"Wait, you're coming here?" She frowned, nervously fidgeting with the edge of her skirt before pausing momentarily; for them to come all the way down, could it really be serious and not one of those 'Charlie moments'? Mac's tone made her confused as well, and she nodded at his instructions, not that he could see.
"A-Alright! I'll meet you at the Demon dorms common room? BUT, do fill me in?" Her frowned deepened slightly, "Your call interrupted Amrita before she could tell me anything more... I'm assuming Charlie went to you regarding the 'curse' and you figured it out? Um, hold on..."
As she said this, she moved over to the door, gesturing for Amrita to follow as she slipped on her boots. Removing the phone from her ear for a moment, she smiled, extending out a hand for her to hold, "Come on, we're going to, uh, figure out the root of this problem. You can leave DC in my room for now~" Hopefully Amrita wouldn't ask any questions and just follow.

"Unfortunately." Yes, they were going there. Poor Amrita likely didn't know what was going on and - judging from her age and expanse of head decay - likely wouldn't understand it either. "I'll find a way to stop Charlie from getting further than the common room, then." That seemed like a simple thing to do, especially when he 'accidentally' flat tired Charlie. "Oop, sorry man~" Lizzy would hear him say.
"Fill you in?" Mac repeated, a little baffled. What more was there to say? Didn't ghouls understand this sort of thing?! Man, Lizzy was slacking. Slacking. Before he said anymore he did in fact hold on, letting her do whatever she needed to get Amrita downstairs.
"Charlie - CHARLIE. Slow down would ya?!"
Amrita in the meantime had recovered nicely, more curious as to what was going on with the phone. Lizzy didn't seem TOO upset, but by the way she was talking, something important was happening. Aaaaa something important was ALWAYS happening! Pressing her lips into a thin pout she slid off of the bed and made her way towards Lizzy, her backward hand reaching out to grasp the one offered.
"....O-okay." Her bottom lip quivered and she felt a certain sense of dread through her, gripping Lizzy's hand tighter and moving closer to the ghoul. "Y-You're gonna stay with me, r-right?!" She pleaded, wanting to get to the bottom of this...without having to let go of Lizzy.

How could she say 'no' to that face?
"Don't worry! I won't let anything happen to you, alright?" She nodded, her grip on Amrita's hand tightening since she didn't have a free hand to pat her with, "It'll be fine! We're just going to meet uh, Charlie and Mac." At least, she hoped that it would be fine; she still wasn't sure what's going on, but... She should trust Mac and just follow his instructions for now, right?
Opening the door with the hand currently holding onto her phone, she led Amrita and herself out before closing it, not bothering to lock the door. Then, placing the phone back against her ear, she continued, "Mac, you there? We're on our way down now... And yes, please fill me in." She is just so confused right now.

Amrita nodded and clung tighter onto Lizzy, doing her best to make a brave face. Charlie was going to be there of course! Mac too; Mac seemed a little...uh, strange but if Lizzy and Charlie trusted him, she would too. The little Vetala merely followed Lizzy to the Common Room in the Demon Dorms without much of a word; she was psyching herself up for some big confrontation with Charlie's curse-caster!
"Mm? Yeah, still here. Charlie's just gotten on the stairs, he'll be in soon." As for the filling in? Well, Lizzy would hear Mac chuckle in amusement. "He's got a big 'ol crush." He explained simply, luckily before the audible noise of the dorm's doors being opened.
"Charlie. Wait there! --- Just do it." Mac urged, and depending on their timing Lizzy might be able to hear his voice echo, both in the phone and within actual earshot.

"He... HE WHAT?" She squeaked, before looking down at Amrita, then up at the ceiling, then back down at Amrita. Charlie is a good guy despite his 'tendencies', but Amrita and Charlie? It's like trying to put two kids together! They're just not ready! From the sounds of it, Charlie seemed to have 'gotten it', but Amrita is still clueless!
"Ahhh. This is going to be... So... Messy... Ah, I think I hear you," She might as well have flailed; instead, she frowned, ending the call as she slowed to a stop. Lowering her phone, she tilted her head, "Mac? Charlie?"

Chobi The whole time the demon had been heading to Lizzies he'd not said a word. Charlie only carried a look of determination and a heart full of fire in his chest. Clip clop clip clop clip clop clip clop His boots echoed as he raced up the stairs wasting no time to get to the very top. And he would have continued his steady determined pace if he hadn't seen Amrita at the very top looking so concerned. The fire faded and the determined look melted away as Charlie was now a deer in head lights. Literally, the pink haired demon froze in place. Mid step and all. Enoh "You heard me." Charlie had a crush, a big one. He chuckled again, mostly from her response. He agreed that it was going to be messy, but... "There's no stopping him now. ...Yeah, I hear you." He confirmed, moving the phone away from his ear and ending the call; there was no point in wasting air time. He stared up at the Demoness and the Undead ghoul...mostly the latter. Oh. This...didn't look good. Mac could see her concern, and he could only imagine what Charlie thought upon seeing it. Without a word to his friend other than a brief clap on the shoulder, the Reaper headed up the stairs. Amrita was still clinging to Lizzy, staring at the pink haired head that had just...stopped in the lower room. What was wrong?! Did he find out what happened?! He must have. It must have been bad. The doe-eyed stare he gave was only further concerning, and with a nervous frown she suddenly let go of Lizzy to run downstairs. Lizzy's hand did not remain empty. She would find a hand holding hers, but it was not Amrita's small child-like one. No, it was much larger, admittedly a little rough, and quickly recognized as belonging to Mac's. He hadn't intended on grabbing her hand, but for Charlie's sake he had to stop her from stopping the ghoul. "Not so fast." He murmured to her, not wanting to interrupt the little scene that would no doubt start playing out any moment now. "Charlie!" Amrita called out, clinging to the railing until her backwards feet were firmly on the common room floor. She made her way over to him a little slower this time, her wrists crossed so her hands could clasp together in front of her chest. "A-are you okay? Did you find out..." She trailed off, feeling oddly anxious.
