The sun was shining brightly upon the little garden under a near by tree. There were fruits, vegetables, and some wild flowers that grew in abundance. A lone pale looking fox was found pulling out some weeds around the tree. Her blue eyes rested on the sunflower she had planted with her newest friend, Ishme. Her tail lay next to her side delicately as the pile of weeds grew on the other. "Such beauty and hard work..." She said to herself quietly as her tail flickered lightly.

The pale fox was enjoying her time in the garden as she cleaned up the weeds. She put the neat pile into a small grocery bag to be toss into the recycle bin. She paused as the unfamiliar voice had caught her off guard. She plucked a little daisy from the ground as she turned to see who spoke. "W-who's there?" She replied back with a question to the question. She held the flower close to her chest as she felt frightened by who or want could be close by to hear her.

The pale fox had almost jumped out of her fur when the voice spoke again. She dropped the daisy that she had been holding onto the floor. She gave a sigh of relief as she noticed it was only another fox that was behind the tree. She picked up the flower with her dainty paws, smiling lightly. "Hello... It's alright, I'm just jumpy when I'm gardening." She explained as she pointed towards the little garden around the bottom of the tree. "I'm Elizabeth Anne Smith, but Emily or Elizabeth would be easier to remember." She introduced herself as she took in his name. "Neely, it's nice to meet the voice to the face." She gave a light giggle as she replanted the daisy in her paws, but it merely fell over. Her ears drooped since it was only starting to bloom as well.

Emily had some color added to her cheeks as she watched Neely straighten up the drooping flower. She blinked then looked to him, "Thank you. This garden is special to me since I could remember." She spoke as she rose to all fours, dusting off her skirt then her top. She picked up a lady bug, closing her eyes before it flew away. "I use to have a different name and past, but since the accident I have forgotten everything. I don't know my family, past loves, or what I was like. Everyone that knew me said that I was like a monster. Horrible to be around and kind of a b***h..." She explained to him as her ears drooped to the sides of her face as she looked off to the side. She wished that she could change her past, but was happy with the life she had now.

Emily blinked as he asked about the accident. She looked to Neely then to her paws. She let out a sigh then took in a breath. "It's alright, Neely. I'll tell you what happened. This was quite a while back so I might not remember it too well. It all started on a winter's day. I had been minding my own business along the mountain trail. I had loss my footing as I went up higher and ended up rolling down the side towards the bottom. They say that if I hadn't of used my wings to help break my fall then I wouldn't be here. I was in a coma for a month or two, but none of my family had come to see me. No one knew of what happened to me. The doctor was with this orange fox called kitsune. She was the one who saved me after I had fallen. After I had woken up I couldn't remember anything about myself or anything before that day. I was named and taken back with her. Now I live with them as the fox you see today." She explained as she paws were folded over each other. Her tail curled around her hind legs. She looked to him then to her garden, "Thank you. It was made with love of a friend that helped me start out my new life." She said with a light smile.

"Everything happens for a reason, Neely. At least, that's what I believe since I had been living a new life. Any fox that knew me before were caught off guard by my complete change." Emily spoke as she looked to the ground, using her left paw to rub her arm. She blinked at the patting on her paw, looking back to him. She gave a lightly sigh then smiled lightly.

"Neither could I, but it happened. I believe it was because there was no way of contacting them since I was out and alone." She said as her soft english accent was caught in her words. She tried to talk normal, but couldn't help it. "There's no need to be sorry, Neely. Just you listening to my tale makes it easier on me. I wish to find a fox that is understanding as you are." She said quitely as the end of her tail flickered.

She giggled at the subject change. "I take pride in my garden and give it care every time I come around this area. I want to make this grow into something wonderful, but everything has to start out small." She said as she picked up an acorn that had fallen from the tree.

Emily planted the acorn into the ground in front of her. Smiling as she dusted her paws off. "One day this acorn will become a strong and proud tree." She spoke happily as she looked back to him. She blushed lightly for he was just a hansom fox and deeply enjoyed his company. " Thank you, it's a joy and a pleasure. I would love to meet someone would is passionate in other things I do as well." She admitted as she rose to her hind legs then to all fours, stretching out fully.

"You care for a bit of some organic pie? I have a few flavors back at the kitchen. There's peach, apple, cherry, and maybe strawberry. I hand make them for the other foxes, young and old." Emily explained as she walked towards the shop's entrance to the building. She enjoyed cooking, but not as much as gardening.

"Well other things I enjoy doing during my free time would be; sewing, going on a relaxing stroll, a hike in the morning, trying to learn how to swim, and trying other things that are suggested. What about you, Neely?" Emily said as she began to almost ramble on. A light blush graced her cheeks as she noticed herself get a bit carried away by talking about herself more than asking about him.

Emily nodded at his question about fresh food. "I love to cook so I usually get carried away and make more than what I could eat." She giggled as she covered her mouth with her paws then moved them to her chest. "If you're hungry, I can make something for you. What would you like, dear?" Asking as she got excited to make something for a new friend that has graced her with their presence.
