I'm curious. I mean, writing counts as an art. So any writers out there?

Do you write your own original fiction?

Write your own comics?

Do you do National Novel Writing Month?

Most admired author?

Who inspires your writing?

I want to know.

I write Original fiction, and sometimes fanfiction, but rarely anymore. Mostly one-shots here and there.

I am working on a few comics, but I fail in the art department. Which is a shame, I have some really neat plot ideas.

I do NaNoWriMo every year. I just did my third year. I have only won once. Something always comes up, but not this year! I will do it!

I admire a lot of writers. J.K. Rowling, L.M Montgomery, Stephan King, William Shakespeare, Charlotte Brontë, Tamora Pierce, and Clamp.

I am inspired by (covers her head from the safety of things beings thrown at her) M. Night Shyamalan, Hayao Miyazaki, and J.K Rowling.

My love for this three is very strong. Especially Rowling. I we her a lot. Without Harry Potter, I would have probably dropped out of high school. And I just got a degree in English. She got me into reading, and because she got me into reading, my grades went up, and I was able to get through school. Went on to University and did what I know all my fellow high school students thought I couldn't do. So I owe her a lot. I actually want to meet her in person just to tell her what she did for me.

Anyway, that is all for me. I may share what I am working on with you all. ^^ I have a few novels in the works, a few completed and such. And I am looking for some great feedback.

I used to write many fictional stories, most of which I never finished. I haven't written a story in a long time and I'm never in the mood for writing :[.

Finishing is the hard part. I know. I have so many half done stories myself. I find that setting goals, and deadlines, like NANoWriMo helps me a lot.

Yes. Here's a writer and a published author. ^^

I write original and fanfiction, but I'm more focusing on original fiction.

I've never written for a comic yet, but I will be the writer of one.

I never knew about it until a year ago, but I don't do it though because I never have the time. I'd like too.

My most admired authors are Stephen King, Shirley Jackson, Peter Straub, William Burroughs, John Steinbeck, Jeremy Robert Johnson and Cody Goodfellow. There will be more, but it'd be too long.

No one inspires my writing. I just write things down when I need to, and sometimes I look into it much deeper.

Now you know. ^^

That's a good idea, though sometimes there's a lack of creativity, which would make it harder to achieve deadlines and the story perhaps not as great as it could be. I guess there's editing :]

I suggest you check out NaNoWriMo. What is so great about it, is they don't care what you write, as lomg as you write. No editing or anything, just write. Get it down on paper. SOmetimes if you get involved in a group, that is doing it, you can bounce ideas off them.

In the group I have they have what they call emergency plot ideas. If you get stuck, open this piece of paper that has a very random plot on it. No matter how crazy use it. When you edit later, after you are done, you can take it out. The whole point is to just write more than you would any other time.

For me, I was always stuck writing term papers. So, my characters would randomly decide to write a paper on Jane Enyre, or Shakespeare plot devices. Its always funny to read again later on.

Maybe I'll start a thread for a summer version of NaNoWriMo, that would be fun. Keep me busy.

That's a good idea. I need something to keep me busy other than roleplaying. XP

I RP around this guild, I write screen plays I wrote 1 full feature film that I'm in the stage of eventually getting in the phase of casting and getting a crew together but I need to get funding and what not. I'm an artist so I just started writing a comic book series. I have many projects in mind but I've been so busy with school and what not.

I'm an avid RPer and I write stories (usually fantasy). I can set up a really good story, but I have a problem thinking out a plotline. Although for my latest story I have the plotline all set out. You don't even understand how proud I am of myself because of that fact.

I used to be an avid RPer for years( 7 to be exact). I also used to write fanfics with my friends. Trust me when I say they were bad. I've always written original stories and comic ideas. I'm currently working on 5 different stories. This is a result of me thinking up too many things and never wanting my stories to end. I'm hoping to release at least one of my comics this year.
I've never heard of National Novel Writing Month, but I don't really consider myself a deep writer, so maybe that's why.
I cannot think of a most inspiring or admired author. I usually just get ideas in my head and write.
