Kal was utterly bored, he was actuslly becoming bored with females. They have all been rejecting him, one actually saved him. He couldnt let it go, he wanted to repay her with some fun but no she was to good. Apparently she had a mate, but she just blew him off. When he saw her meet up with her family it made it angry, something hes never known, being alone since he was a cub left him bitter and he hated happy families. This was perhaps why he never settled down himself and why he never liked prides. Prides to him were a big family which was why he perfered to stay in the roguelands. But there were days like today he was not really sure what to do, he thought about starting a fight just well because he could but today was a sluggish day for him. He took refuge under a shaded tree. He could always find something to do if he tried. Perhaps he could play with some poor hare before he decided to eat it.
Kaori_luv (11:18:34 PM): Mazhira lay in the shade of a tree totally annoyed by the heat of the day, the suns rays heating her fun to ridiculus temperatures. She sighed knowing soon as the day heated up she was going to have to find shelter hopefully a cool cave or underground den.
Rising she dared venture into the sun her pink marking glowing brightly in the light. She moved quickly not that it matter fast or slow she was going to be really hot really soon.
Sighing, just the same she carried on moving toward the next patch of shade to rest just a moment before she ventured farther.
DayDreamer427 (11:32:27 PM): Kali saw a black blur from the corner of his eye approcing from the distance, a pelt so dark it was blaker then night itself. He could tell it was a female, the scent she carried throught the air was a dead giveaway. Maybe today wasnt going to be so bad he thought he just had to let some good luck come to him for a change.
He didn't get uo because he didn''t want to startle her because women would always get easily scared. They were so predictable. They all want a family and always have irrational mood swings thats why he never settle down, women were just to much to handle but he didn't mind having some fun before he left without a word.
As the female got closer he decided he should speak, "Well, hello there." His tone was quite inviting for someone with fallacious intentions.
Kaori_luv (11:45:33 PM): Mazhira startled slight at the voice as her head was down as she tried to keep as much of her pelt our of the sun as possible as she headed into shade. She frowned slightly, but did not retreat and did not speak either. She sat before the male and gave a slight nod to acknowlegde him, but then turning away and looking to the hot sun.
She gave a silent sigh, no sound escaping her lips and waited for her terribly dark pelt to cool in the shade.
DayDreamer427 (11:57:56 PM): Kali noticed the female was hot and did the more gentlemen like thing to do; he got up and offered the shade he resided in. Sure he was going to be hot but hell if he got to entertainment he would be happy. "Please take my place, you need it more then me." He smiled and got up and moved off to the side. When he smiled his abnormally long canines showed and when he stood he was larger then most males, he was rather intimidating to anyone but to women he ment no harm, he was just too flirtatious for his own good.
He got up and sat against the opposite side of the tree in the sun, he disnt mind, he has experenced more heat. He just rested his head on his paws. He didn't want to annoy the female by making her uncomfortable so he just let her be, for now.
Kaori_luv (12:25:19 AM): Hira was surprised by the male actions and graced him with a small smile before moving into the spot he vacated. It was cooler a relief from the heat of the day, from the rays of the retched sunlight.
She nodded her thanks, but again no words were uttered. She lay happily content to lay, just lay and hide from the sun until the night approached.
Still it was hot and Hira wasn't alone. She looked to the kind stranger briefly, but turned back to look out over the lands after just a moment.
DayDreamer427 (12:37:20 AM): Kal was a little disappointed that all he got was a smile. But it was better then the head nod he got earlier. He found it a little rude she didnt respond to him but it was progress, and honestly he porbably wasnt going to leave until he knew for sure she wasnt interested. As he saw the sun begin to fall he was growing hungry. He looked back at the female, he wondered if he was hungry too.
He slowly got up and went to the female. "I'm going to go get us some food so you can continue to rest." He bowed his head slightly and ran off in search of some food. He hoped she would be waiting when he came back. Hopefully this gesture of food will help him score.
Kaori_luv (12:42:43 AM): Hira loved the night and as soon as the sun set she had every intention of running of to hunt and enjoy the time when her fur was not such a burden to her, but now there was this male, who was going to hunt for her?
That was entirely confusing. They weren't of the same family or pride, so she wondered why he was being so kind to her. It made her wary, yet she waited for his return. Who was she to turn down such a chilvarious gift?
DayDreamer427 (12:52:27 AM): Kali was able to capture and kill a pretty big waterbuck and it didnt take as long as he assumed so he tossed the waterbuck onto his back and made his way back towards the female, as he approached the tree where he left the female he wasnt sure if she was still there but the closer he got he was able to make out the black shadow.
He dropped the prey on the floor infront of the female. "Ladies first." He smiled and nudged the waterbuck towards her. At this point he still wasnt sure weather he would be getting any or not but he hope this might at least open a doorway for him with her. She seemed pretty uninterested in him but he hasnt seemed to piss her of yet so maybe with a few more kind gestures he can have his fun and be on his way.
Kaori_luv (1:04:33 AM): Hira looked up at the kill offered to her, but she shook her head and attempted to indicate that he should eat first, pointing from him to the waterbuck.
She wasnt sure if he could understand her, but she already knew she couldn't talk to him. It took a lot for her to speak, it seemed like a spell that sometimes only her father could break. She hadnt seen in since she had left the Navi borders.
Hira waited to see what he would do, if he started to eat she would wait her turn, but if he insisted she eat she would try to convey she would rather eat together than first.
DayDreamer427 (1:14:10 AM): He pushed the waterbuck a bit closer to the female. The way she acted was rather strange. Why was she pointing at the waterbuck? He looked at the female, he didnt understand what she was doing. "Well go on." he stared at her curiously. "I can wait, you should eat first." He gave a seemingly genuine smile towards the female.
Kaori_luv (2:57:43 PM): Hira frowned and shook her head, she opened her mouth and tried to talk, but as always no words came out. She was frustrated with her inability to convey her feeling and it made her miss her mother and father. Her father who gave her voice, she could always talk to her and her mother who understood without words.
She nudged the kill toward him a bit and opened her mouth to say together, but of course no words came out. She pointed to him, then herself, then the kill, hoping her would understand, but not thinking he would.
DayDreamer427 (11:06:43 PM):
Kal stared at her for a moment, why was she opening and closing her mouth; was this female.... "Are you mute?" Kal said bluntly he has only ever met one who couldnt speak.
He nodded "Ok, we'll share?" He smiled unsure if what she wanted was what he had said. If she is mute it would be easier to leave her. He began to tear into the dead waterbuck along with the female. This might not be a boring day after all.
Kaori_luv (11:11:22 PM): Hira nodded quickly when he asked if she was mute, almost relieved when he got it. He understood she couldnt talk, so maybe that meant he wouldn't make her try. Hira smiled when he said they could share and as he went about eating the kill she quickly joined him.
After she had her fill she sat back looking at the male for a moment before going about cleaning her paws and mouth. She had to be careful about cleaniness as not everything could be seen on her dark pelt, so although it was a lot of work, she cleaned herself often.
DayDreamer427 (11:17:03 PM): He began to clean himself as well, every so often he would casually glance at the female. He looked up at the moon, "Maybe we should take shelter for the night, i saw an abanded den not to far from here." He stood up and waited to see if the female followed.
What he was really trying to do was get her to follow so they can be completely alone and so he can make his moves.
Kaori_luv (11:23:17 PM): When she finished cleaning herself it seemed the male had finished as well and so he suggested they find shelter, which put Hira a little on egde. She had no real reason to trust him and even more so she was able to speak. She was not sure she wanted to be alone even for just a night with someone she did not know.
He stood, but she stayed seated completely unaware of his true motives and yet she have him a distrustful glance as if to say she did not think that was a good idea. If he decided to hurt her she might not even be able to scream, and she was no where near her home or her father's home.
DayDreamer427 (11:28:07 PM): Kali might have spoke to soon he saw her face, "Im sorry i was just trying to help. You should take it i can sleep outside." He gave a smile. "Or would you perfer if we went our seperate way?" He was trying to trick the female. But if he said no he would take it into consideration. He was a jerk but she was mute and he would take complete advantage of her. He look at the female and gave a smile.
Kaori_luv (11:33:21 PM): Hira frowned at him, but stood she walked out from under the tree and pointed up to the stars and then back to herself with a light smile. She was trying to convey that she liked the night. It was cooler for her, an easier time for her to move about. She did not mean to be rude or to make the male feel bad, even if she did not trust him, that did not mean she would ignore that he was nice to her.
She looked to him to see if he understood although she doubted he did.
DayDreamer427 (11:38:42 PM): He looked at her and shook his head, "Im sorry i dont understand." He was trying to make this female feel comfortable but she was stubborn. "Is something wrong?" He felt bad for the female... it must be hard to not be able to talk.
Kaori_luv (11:51:12 PM): She frowned and wished for her mother, who always knew what she was trying to say. She did not really know what to do to let the male know she wasn't sleepy, not tired in the least. She didnt necessarily want him to leave, but she was none to sure about following him, alone to a den.
She looked at him with sad eyes for a moment, but smile to say it was okay. She looked back up to the sky again with a sad smile before turning back the male. Then it struck her and she wondered if she could get him to play.
She smiled and gave him a playful bump, then another before turning and trotting off only stopping to look back and see if her understood. She was saying, play with me, catch me.
DayDreamer427 (12:03:11 AM): He smiled a little, she was so beautiful. He followed her gaze up to the sky admiring the stars before he felt a bump. Kal stared at the female and smiled. "What was that for?" He chuckled "Oh you wanna play do you?" He laughed as he began to chase after her.
He actually began to forget about doing her and was actually starting to enjoy her company. He has never had a friend before and this was kind of nice.
