School was over and although Ainsley was sad to not be able to learn something new each day, she was excited to find new things to do. This would be her first summer in Destiny City and she didn't know what to do first! Without knowing where to go, there was little for the child to do except spend her days in the library and her nights staring out the window. She couldn't avoid it forever, that calling from the stars above. They longed for her to become free with them in the night, to explore the summer night with them. She was but a child and it didn't take long before the child was no longer looking out the window from her bedroom but following the stars she could make out in the sky as bunny slippers guided her feet over the pavement of the back alley.
It was an absolutely beautiful night without a cloud in the sky to blind the beautiful stars from view. They seemed to sing, at least, Sailor Chibi Hypnos thought so. She wanted to sing with them, but they were so far away it was hard to make out just what they were singing. Did she know the song? The listened carefully, shuffling her feet slowly over what seemed to be grass. She didn't even seem to notice she was now in the park. It was quiet, most of the children home, leaving the park to young couples on the benches and the rest of the park free. A whole wide park for the child to explore, perhaps she could find something she'd never seen before.

Zue had a lot to think about; from his life as Sue, finishing school to a job to, well...his other job. Arguably the most important job he had. He'd been slacking in light of events back home, and guilt was starting to seep in. Those connections he couldn't explain were more important to him than he wanted to admit, and he felt the best time to go and figure out what to do was at night, when most people went home and those who did stay out minded their own business. It was the best time to think!
Besides, nobody ever really bothered a 'stray' cat at night, either.
He didn't think anything about padding along as a Cat, minding his own business and hoping everyone else would follow his example. Yes, take cues from a feline. It wasn't until he rounded the corner to continue his mindless wandering did he find himself in the park and, more specifically, directly in the path of a child. When he realized it he froze mid-step, bright blue eyes trailing up the young one's form to look at her face. A child was here. At night, by herself? He was a child once. He knew children, he was one once; they were grabby liked to pull. Zue didn't want to add 'assault by child' to his ever-growing list of grievances, so he did what cats did best.
Ears flattened, fur bristled, and he bolted.

The little senshi hadn't noticed the cat that was looking her over right away, in fact, she was almost certainly staring lovingly up at the stars that she could make out in the sky. They had such power to lure a child out at night, into a park, alone. If this was some horror movie, Sailor Chibi Hypnos would soon find herself face to face with a killer. Perhaps more Destiny City appropriate: a youma. However, this night was more like a drama with a hint of comedy. The story wasn't progressing anywhere though as the child stared at the sky but like any good story, soon the clock began to move and so did the child's eyes. Lower and lower until she was staring at the blue eyes of a cat. Of course, she didn't register it as a cat right away due to its dark coat. What she seen was two stars above the glowing orbs of the cat's eyes. There were stars within her grasp!
It wouldn't be much of a story if something dramatic happened and before the child could do anything the cat bolted away from her, taking the lovely stars she had spotted away from her. She called out to the cat, wishing for the stars to come back to her reach as her legs begun to pull her in the direction that cat that was running away. She had to catch it! She had to get those stars! Could she be so selfish to desire to keep them for herself, in her collection. Perhaps she could pin them to her outfit, or place them in a jar!
"Wait up!" She called out into the silence of the night.

Ohhh like hell he was going to 'wait up'! This child stared at him with eyes full of malice. Tail-grabby, rough petting, over-affectionate malice. Zue was not going to let this girl catch up to him! Not at all! He ran until he thought he had put enough distance between them, and once he slowed down he looked behindhim to confirm...only to find that there she was, still within sight. OH GOD DAMN THAT GIRL WAS FAST!
Hissing again, he took off once more, and when he felt safe he looked over his shoulder again, found her still too close and took off yet again. This process repeated itself a third and fourth time before Zue was without a doubt between a child and a hard place. The Guardian Cat had skid to a halt in front of a large stone wall that blocked off an alley, turning frantically to see the girl as always closing in on him.
He was between a child and a hard place, and the best he could do was lower himself to the ground and give a warning grumble.

Do you know how hard it was to run in bunny slippers? Without a doubt the child had nearly gotten it down to a perfection from all the youma running away she had to do but by the time she managed to corner the mysterious star carrying cat, she'd practically fell forward and landed next to him with a squeal. She was breathing heavy and she was more than happy to have caught up with him. Not only that but she was finally able to get a decent look at what she had been chasing and she wasn't disappointed to find out it was a cat with two stars on its forehead. D'aw, so cute! She held out her arms to the cat, inherently blocking off most of the cat's possible exists as she did.
"Come here little kitty!" She said before she she leaned forward, not to pick him up but to whisper to him softly in the glow of the park misty park light above, "I'll tell you a secret, but don't tell anyone! I'm the senshi of sleep, sworn to protect everyone. I won't harm you!" Small fragments of her uniform could be seen from the light above, but not much more than a clear shot here and there, nothing solid, as she spread her arms out closer to him this time. She hoped this cat would be like Santa Cat, she'd had so much fun that late December day.

Zue jolted as the girl fell near her, just about to jump on her head to start running away again...when he felt something a little strange. In all of his running he didn't stop to think about it, but there was something about her that made him pause. Was it a thought that maybe this little girl was different and that he should start purring and cuddling? No, no it was not. His back was arched again as he realized his exits were blocked, his already fluffy coat poofing out even further in an attempt to look scary...
Which clearly wasn't working, as she felt the need to lean in and whisper to him.
"...Seriously?" Zue sputtered in surprise. "Uhhh.....Mrrrrowwww?" He corrected in a panic. Who was he kidding, of course she heard him! Groaning more humanly, the purple feline sat down heavily. If she was a Senshi she should be less likely to pull because she should know of the Guardian Cats, but that didn't stop him from being on guard. Clearly the girl just wanted a hug, and if he let her have one (without an ounce of his initiating), maybe she'd leave him alone. Zue looked disgruntled, a defeated but proud stance; back straight, limbs in proper place, eyes slit and ears drooped.
Just in case, he wasn't going to speak again for a little while.

Did the cat just talk? Sailor Chibi Hypnos' head tilted, and she gave the cat a good look as it then proceeded to meow. Suspiciously, she stared at him for a good moment, blue eyes to blue eyes. She'd heard him, and she was beginning to get a complex about animals. It was becoming more and more common that every animal she met seemed to be able to talk. There was Cora, Leopard's Eye, Quali's Eye, *********, Chloe, Zirconia and now this purple cat! Did he have a human form too? At least three of the animals that she'd heard speak could! She'd decided whether he did or not wasn't important, and looking at his unhappy front made the child frown a tiny bit before she gave him a tiny pat on the head, right between the ears that were lowered so pathetically.
"It's okay!" She said to him, carefully wrapping her arms around the cat and giving him a hug. Everything would be all right! She couldn't help but giggle into his fur, her face brushing into the silken purple surface. He was so fluffy! So very fluffy! Not even Cora was this fluffy, and the feeling was like snuggling a blanket that the child just didn't want to let go. She wondered if Bell would let her keep him if she brought him home. He could be friends with Cora and she could snuggle into him at bedtime, perhaps dress him up like a princess and have tea. Oh the ideas that were forming in the child's head.
"How about Nicolas? Mr. Fluffykins?" She suggested two very different spectrum of names, clearly already thinking of names to name him.

He submitted to his fate and allowed her to pat his head; he suffered stiffly through the hug and even resisted the urge to flip or lash out when she nuzzled him (in fact, he started purring damn his traitorous genes!). It wouldn't last.
Soon, Zue was twitching again, in that very unhappy Mr. Kitty way. Those names...those NAMES. Why those names. Okay, Nicolas wasn't so bad but...Mr. Fluffykins? Really? Weren't children supposed to be, you know, creative? It was a good thing he was blissfully unaware of the plans she had for him, specifically of the Princess variety; that just screamed disaster.
"ZUE." The feline suddenly burst, prickling. "My name is Zue. Not Nicolas, or...or Mr. Fluffykins-" He sneered as best as a feline could, which was really just pulling back his lips to bare his teeth. "Zue. Zoo." Just in case the girl didn't get it.
"And who are you?"

The child didn't have a fear that the cat would attack her when Zue suddenly got defensive, but to see it affirmatively speak was a pleasant surprise. A small gasp was released, and then a small set of giggles as a smile formed on her face. The child just loved talking animals, and meeting new ones were always pleasant. There was something familiar about this one as it continued to attempt to reinforce that his name was not Nicolas and definitely not Mr. Fluffykins but Zue. Zue. Zuuuuuuuuue. It sounded like she'd heard that name before.
"Zue," she said out loud, getting a feel for the name. "It's nice to meet you Zue. My name is Sailor Chibi Hypnos, Senshi of Sleep."
It took a moment for Sailor Chibi Hypnos' brain to catch up, but when it did... oh did she ever squeal. It was Zue! Zue of the Zodiacs! Zue, the Guardian cat of Princess Chronos! Her head looked around, wondering if the princess was anywhere to be found. She wasn't there, was the child mistaken? Perhaps it was Sue of the Zodiacs, not Zue? There was one way to confirm, and it was sneering in front of her.
"Zue of the Zodiacs? Princess Chronos' Guardian Cat?" She really hoped he was.
