Abla had been spending her day wandering around the area that the other god had claimed for her and him, and of course the pride. She had been busy lately bouncing back and forth between the pride and her brother. Also she had word that her son was around, really thats what she was up to today. She was going to head out for a little while and look around. She was going to see what she could find she was really hoping that the one that she could find was her son but she knew there was a chance that she might not find him when she went out but she was going to try anyway.

She was wading through a river heading toward the other side, her wings were spread out but they were still getting a little wet. She knew her fur was going to be a mess later that was for sure and that made her a little angry but this river went on what seemed like forever and she wasn't really in the mood to wait. So she decided to just cut across it. Sure she could fly but with the way the grasses were in this area she wouldn't be able to find anything if she was flying. She decided just to stay where she was and cross the river.

She ended up on the other side then looked down at her paws and sighed some, she was guessing it was time for a break. Oh she needed a break that was for sure. She flopped down on her haunches and started to lick away at some of her fur hoping that in the sun she was going to dry off quickly at this bank.

Sozin had hidden himself in the grasses for a rest - though his red colouring made it hard to hide anywhere, he was still able to conceal himelf int he shadow of a tree by the riverbank, and the grasses covered the bulk of his form.

He had heard someone crossing the river, and had pressed himeslf lower to the ground - not out of fear, but out of paranoia. He would be better off if he could see them before they saw him and make his plan. He smirked, when he noticed it was the form of a female, but his eyes widened at the sight of the wings.

A Goddess, Sozin thought, confused. He had heard of them, of course, and had seen them at a distance, but he had never seen one up close. Her form was dark - perhaps her domain was too? His curiosity was piqued.

She stopped at the edge of the river to clean her fur, and he hesitated, before standing up to reveal himself. He didn't speak. He would observe first, and then decide who he should be - perhaps her domain was something harmless and useless, like love. There was no use getting his hopes up.

You couldn't say that her domain was harmless and useless but at the same time it wasn't exactly the opposite of those two words. Shew as a bit of a in between. If you got her angry enough she would curse you into going through some pretty rough hardships until you learned your lesson. However on the other hand she was a pretty laid back lioness who had a very sad air about her. It was just how it was.

She was pretty happy to be relaxing at the moment she had no reason to be on edge, even as she smelt the scent of another coming her way. She didn't mind when others were coming her way. She was normally pretty friendly and even if the other wasn't friendly she was larger then most adult males. Although in a way that was a little small for a goddess she didn't mind. She loved her size she could use it just enough. the sound of the other approaching made her ears flick around. she didn't know where he was and even though she could look the one blind goddess normally acted as if she was still blind some times, she didn't always bother looking. She wondered what the stranger wanted or of he was just curious fo what she was, she had some of that at times.

"Yes?"

Sozin hesitated when she did not turn to face him. Was she watching him some how, with Goddess powers, or perhaps she had simply felt his presence. Either way, he did not think it wise to attack - not until he knew her domain. She was not huge, but she was not small either, and even if her domain was harmless, she might still be dangerous.

"Greetings, Goddess," he said to her, his voice polite and calm. He was good at pretending to be harmless. He had tricked people before, and he did no doubt that his voice would appear nice at least.

He stepped forward, keeping his pose relaxed in case she could see him.

"Have trouble crossing the river?" He asked calmly. He wondered why she had not simply flown across the river. Perhaps her wings were merely decoration?

Abla continued to pull at her feathers, she cared at the fact that he was there and normally she would look up and be curious about who was talking to her but she didn't like the whole water soaked into her fur thing. Not only that but she wasn't as friendly to males. She really was just a little put off by them. She didn't have a reason to be put off by them but she was. You could say that the fact that her brother was extremely protective of her around males could have something to do with the whole thing.

"Greetings." She commented back before lifting a head and nodding at him. She wanted to make sure that he knew she was acknowledging him. She knew at times it would make others uncomfortable to not look at them. In a way she didn't understand how but she was guessing that it made sense. She fluttered her wings for a few moments then turned toward him. "Not at all actually." She chuckled then flicked her hair out of her eyes and then shrugged. "More like having a hard time getting the water out of my fur." She laughed again quietly. She stretched herself out before speeaking once again. "May I help you?" she asked him curiously.

Sozin's eyes traced her form, taking in her goddess traits quickly, as waterlogged as they currently were. When she raised her head to nod at him, he was careful to school his expression nice, listening to her speak. It never hurt to have a goddess on your side, did it? He mused thoughtfully, before speaking back.

"Why did you not merely fly over the river, if you hate water in your fur so much?" He asked, his voice curious - and honestly so. Why had she not flown? What kind of goddess was she? He scoffed inwardly.

Her question surprised him slightly and he appeared thoughtful. "No, I suppose you can't. I merely saw you and wanted to see you up close - I apologise if that makes me seem rude." It was as close to the truth as she was going to get. This way it seemed as if he had been merely admiring her - which was true in a way.

Abla looked at the male, she was a little confused, he seemed pretty rude. To her she didn't like that too much. She really didn't, she really didn't like putting up with these kind of lions however she knew that not everyone was very pleasant. She wasn't about to just walk away and ignore this male because she knew that that would be rude and she didn't like the idea of being rude to some one either. Abla shrugged at the male's question and then thought about it again for a moment. She flicked her hair out of her eyes as she looked at him and then shook her head. "I'm not really sure, I guess it's nice every now and again, not all the time though." she was pretty sure that it was the best way to describe how she felt about the situation. She didn't mind it occasionally hhowever all the time annoyed her.

"Flying every where gets tiring after a while." she shook her head at the idea before looking at him. "Just interested?" she asked a little confused, she was always a goddess so for her she was a little confused at why some one would be so interested, so she didn't really understand but at the same time she kind of could. "Oh, well..." She paused for a moment and then flicked her hair out of her eyes. "I uh, don't know what to do then." She said simply, really truthfully not that sure of what to say. She ddin't know what to say to the male.

Sozin didn't see the appeal of water ever - except for when the sun was furiously hot and even then he rarely stayed long in the water. It was odd, but he kept quiet. Best not anger a god - at least not until he found out of if she was worthy of his interest.

"You don't have to do anything," he said smoothly, drawing closer to her. "Simply sit and talk with me a while, unless you have somewhere you need to be?" He quirked a brow, staring at her and hoping that she wouldn't leave. If she turned out to be powerful, than she would be a worthy ally, and if not...Well, the idea of killing a god was an interesting one. Certainly something to boast of. He held back a smirk, as he waited for her response.

Abla looked at the male and then looked around trying to figure out waht she was doing. "Well, I'm kind of doing some thing, I'm looking for my son." She stated simply, before thinking. "I could spare some time but I would like to keep moving." She said simply once shrugging at the idea, this male seemed a little off that was for sure and he didn't realy know what to think about him.

Sozin scowled inwardly. Damn. She had seen through the lie - not completely, he didn't think. He didn't think she knew the depth of his lies, but she certainly didn't feel comfortable around him, if she was so eager to rush off.

Was his mask slipping? No. It had to be one of her powers. Still, he refused to drop the mask.

"A pity," he said, voice sounding sad, as if it truly was a pity she was leaving. "Perhaps we will meet again sometime, Goddess."

Perhaps he could find her son before her. He might be able to use him as leverage against the God - but he doubted he'd find the male before the Goddess. She had the advantage of wings, after all.

Abla looked at the lion and then nodded to him. He wasn't exactly the happiest to have the encounter with the male. she didn't trust him at all that was for sure. She was more than happy to get out of here and go the other way. She was more than happy to go the other way. As soon as she could she started to trot away, her wings were still heavy so she knew that she couldn't take off right away but soon enough she was going to. she was going to have to find her son soon.
