Yiska had lived in the rogue lands for all of his life. That was until recently.

Because of his life in the roguelands for a while he gave up on humanity. However he found the Demon pride. Thats what many others called it. When he first heard of it he wasn't that sure of that to think at all. He really didn't know what to think he didn't like the way it sounded, however on the other hand he quickly fell in love with it. He loved the pride he loved it so much he couldn't put it into words. He loved the company it was like nothing he ever met before. That included Bele. He loved Bele. She was something different, something like he had never seen and he was hoping that everything went well with her.

On the other hand there were days like today where he wanted to go out and see the lands that he had left. Today was one of them. He was wandering away seeing the lands or at least just wandering out of the pride for a little. It was refreshing that was for sure. He missed these lands to a point. Mostly the sights, everything was a little barren where he lived now. He was just wandering at the moment, well... Stalking at the moment. He was going after a rabbit not that far away from him, watching him through the bushes. He was not really hungry but he felt like playing a bit of a game today and chasing around a rabbit would be interesting.

He smirked before running forward and starting the chase heading straight toward a big tree.

Sozin disliked trees. Well, he did not dislike the tree itself, as it was currently providing him shade to rest in, but he disliked the memories of the trees. He had spent days beneath the roots of one, with her and now she had tainted all his views of trees. He snarled, and shifted, anxious to be away from those memories, but he had no where to go - nothing to do.

He had hunted for his food earlier in the morning, and had taken down a large enough prey beast that he was no hungry, and there was nothing entertaining around to play with - not even a lioness to lead astray, or a male to fight.

He scoffed, and scanned the landscape with obvious distaste.

Life was full of boring moments, he decided, with a scowl. What good was life when you spent half of it waiting? He scoffed, and pushed himself to his feet, tensing as he heard the sound of paws approaching quickly on the other side of the tree. He backed up, using the tree to protect his flank, as he waited for the fast approaching person to reveal them self.

There defiantly was exciting moments to life. that included when rather large lions invaded the space that you were occupying and chased around a rabbit. He was determined to get it and as the rabbit ran for the tree he wasn't going to flinch, he knew it was going to turn last second and thats what it did. He made sure to keep close to it on foot. He didn't want to lose it. But asit raced around he noticed out of the corner of his eye another lion. Oh god! As he looked he saw the rabbit in the same direction.

He held his breath for a moment before pushing off with the back feet, clearing the lion and with his paw batting the side of the rabbit as hard as possible. Not always did cats land on all of their feet. He landed on his rump with a oof and then watched as the rabbit too stumbled but then ran off. He was so annoyed! He was so close! There went his games for the day.

While he was wrapped up in his thoughts he almost forgot about the male that was sitting next to him. He turned toward him quickly and then nodded his head as he regained his composure, he probably looked like a fool, at least from what he could see the lion did not live in his pride. That was something good at leas the wasn't going to live with it later on when he went back home. Bele wasn't going to hear about it. "Hello." He greeted before speaking once again. "I am sorry for interrupting you." This was awkward. If only he at least caught the rabbit then he could have trotted off, but no, it was just going to be awkward. So much for enjoying his day out of the pride.

Sozin stayed tense as the male revealed himself - and appeared to be chasing a rabbit. He scoffed. What was the use in chasing a rabbit? It was barely more than a snack, and more than that, the male was failing at catching the tiny creature. That was more pathetic.

When the male changed his course towards him, as did the rabbit, he tensed, but was not prepared for the male to leap clean over him, still darting after the rabbit. Sozin span, keeping a watch on him lest he turn to attack him, but the male seemed fixed on the rabbit which had gotten away.

Even more pathetic, he didn't even injure the beast.

Casting the male a cold look when he turned towards him, he looked utterly unimpressed with what he had just witnessed. "Be more sorry that you failed in your endeavour, rather than disturbing me," he scoffed. "You just lost to a rabbit."

Yiska shook out his mane riding some of the dust and dirt off of his coat before arching a brow at the male. He was a little confused, he came from a pride of demons and he really hadn't run into anyone like this in a while. This was why he didn't like it in the rogue lands. Reasons like this. He flicked his tail around for a few more times. He paused for a moment and then looked over at the male again and shook his head. "Really just stretching my legs." He commented simply before flicking his hair out of his eyes once again. "If would be bad if I was getting it to eat but I'm doing it just for fun." He shook his head and stared at the male. He didn't know what his problem was. He didn't like males like this, really he didn't like it when anyone did this.

However now he was glad he was in much better shape then he was before. "Beside rabbits are tricky."

Sozin scoffed at the excuses that male gave, as if 'stretching his legs' was actually a valid reason. You stretched your legs when you hunted decent prey, like a wildebeest. "What is the point in chasing such insignificant prey if you don't intend to eat it?" Sozin asked, sceptical, before smirking. "If you were merely looking for entertainment, you should have chased a leopard."

He would deny that thoughts of Kanya drifted into his mind as he said that. He was NOT still thinking of that blasted leopardess. No! Ugh. He hated her for staying in his mind so long.

"Not as tricky as cheetahs," he pointed out, stretching as if talking about attacking or playing with other big cat species was as normal as talking about hunting prey beasts. For him, perhaps it was, but his mind kept drifting back to the red leopard who had yet to leave his mind.

Yiska shook his head with a bit of a chuckle, he was trying to stay friendly with the male. He didn't want a fight, he really wasn't in the mood for it. Really he was more into just hanging out today, getting in a fight was not on his agenda. He really did not want to fight. He just wanted to stay in a good mood today. He was enjoying spending today not worrying about that much. However the male seemed to have something else on his mind and that bothered him a lot he didn't want to fight. "Just because." He shook it off not really worrying that much.

"It was the first thing I found, decided it would be the best to go after for the moment." He shrugged once again flicking around his tail, before chuckling quietly at the males second comment. "This is true. Cheetahs are fast, which is kind of silly." He laughed slightly. "The brake like twigs though from what I heard. Beside I don't want to really waste that much energy today." He moved a little more off to the side, he was hoping that he could wander away from the male and go some where else for the moment. He really didn't want to. He flicked his tail around a few times before waiting and then nodding at the male. "It is a nice day to be out though." He metioned quietly it was pretty true, he felt it was any, but then again he was just trying to get away with out making it seem like he was... welll trying to get away.

Sozin watched the male through contemplative, lazy eyes. Themale was shfiting, and talking - perhaps Sozin should have been listneing, but he doubted anything was of importance that was being said. He was pleased that the male did not seem to be disturbed by Sozin's comments - not that he would have cared if he had been, but it was nice to meet someone that was not immediately terrified of him. They'd usually learn to be though. Sozin smirked.

"Don't bother with pleasantries," Sozin said bluntly. "If you want to leave, leave. It won't hurt my feelings." He laughed, somewhat coldly.

The male was obviously not keen for company, with how he shifted to move away - and actually thought to make small talk. He shifted his gaze away form the male, looking unconcerned.

"I'm sure I' can live on without the company of a failed-rabbit catcher making small talk with me."

Yiska looked at the male he wasn't sure what to say at all. He really didn't know what to say the male really was just rude. Yiska was normally really gruff however at the moment he was really just trying to have a good day and the male was just really kind of ruining it for him. Really annoying him. He didn't know what to do about if he was going to be able to have a good day witht he way the male was acting. He rolled his eyes before standing up and stretching himself. Yiska was never ashamed of not catching a meal. He never really cared at all. He really enjoyed being able to be okay with the failure that he did during his life.

However on the other side he knew that not every were that confident in the things that he did. He rolled his eyes once again before turning away and he got ready to wander away. "I really highly doubt that you've caught every meal that you've gone after. He shook his head, he knew that there were a lot of men who never could live up the idea that they couldn't do something like that. However on the other side, Yiska didn't mind if he couldn't catch something. He didn't mind at all, but again he knew many that did mind.

He flicked his hair out of his eyes and then chcukled. "I'm glad to know that you don't mind me just leaving then."

Sozin chuckled - lowly and deeply, without any real humour. "You're right, I haven't' caught everything I've tried to," he remarked slowly. "But at least I have never lost to a rabbit." Really, rabbits were only designed for eating, and to lose to one...well, he had never definitely lost to a rabbit, though the one who stayed with the girly leopard had been protected, but he never lost to her. He'd been attacked by the adolescent males and been outnumbered, so he did not count that as a loss.

Sozin smirked. "I'll survive, somehow," he said, with some semblance of humour. The male was amusing, yes, but he wasn't that upset if he didn't want to stay. It had amused him for a while, and now perhaps he would go off and find himself something to hunt...like a cheetah....

Yiska rolled his eyes once more at the male before he turned away and shook his head. "Best of luck to you." He shook his head once again and then turned away. He had better things that he could be doing for the day. He was thinking of finding something else. Probably another rabbit. Quite franky Yiska was trying to take it easy being as he hadn't been in this good of shape in so long he didn't want to hurt anything or do anything wrong. He wanted to start with chasing small things before big things. He wanted to be sure of himself. But he wasn't about to tell the male. He was heading back toward his pride now, He wanted to be back and in the company of others that he enjoyed. He was glad that this encounter was short. He could carry on with what he wanted to do.
