I don't know what to think of it yet. I like the idea of Rapture, the city underwater, than Columia (?), the one in the sky. Rapture seemed to have so much more of a horror theme to it, especially with Andrew Ryan's psychotic messages everywhere. "No Gods or Kings. Only Man." etc. Then there was Sophia Lamb's little religious cult. 'We will be reborn in the cold womb of the ocean" It was disturbing, but had a strange beauty to it. I'm also reminded of something Andrew Ryan said. "It wasn't impossible to build Rapture under the ocean, it was impossible to build it anywhere else." or something like that. This just seems nothing like it. Plus there's no Big Daddies, Little Sisters or Big Sisters. So that's pretty depressing. Nevertheless, I'm still pretty excited and can't wait to see how this turns out.

I don't know the plot line of infinite either but I still don't know how it connects to the other Bioshock games either.=/ Its by the same creators so its gotta be somewhat good. =3 It is depressing theres no little sisters, they MADE the Bioshock games.(D=) I'm still pumped for infinite though!(=

Is there ADAM? Isn't Infinite supposed to be earlier than Bioshock 1 and 2, so does that mean Andrew Ryan stole the idea? So many questions, can't wait for Infinite's answers!

Edwrd Elric1996 Its before andrew ryan created Rapture. It`s Colubia. Ken Levine said that it's a entirely different setting unrelated to bioshock 1 & 2. This also includes Bioshock vita & the bioshock movie, which are also taking place in an entirely different settings unrelated to Infinite, original bioshock, & each other.

I'm in two minds about it.
For me, what made the original Bioshock so iconic is the setting and the mood created from knowing that salvation is probably not possible since you're so deep.
Infinite doesn't have that crushing sense of claustrophobia to it because it's very open.
Plus, there's no Big Daddies which is always disappointing!
But I would love to see what they do with Elizabeth and the mythology behind the series.

OMG I can't wait for the new game. I fell in love with Columbia the moment I saw it. I don't really like Elizabeth THAT much but she's a tolerable addition. I can't wait to explore the city. >w< I wish I could buy the game now.
I honestly don't care if its not set in Rapture. I feel like... if they keep making Rapture games it'll turn into Pirates of a Caribbean.... it'll be like beating a dead horse honestly. I love that they have made a new city for me to hang out in. If the rumor is true and they plan to make more Bioshock games, then I hope they make another city somewhere.... perhaps it could be set underground or something.
