ya i caught a shiny minchino i found thinking 'what am i going to do with this sad .
thien i was on serebii chat forumn and someone offered me a latias for it o.o
i dunno why he wanted it so badly, but i gave it too him. But now im wondering whats so special about them.
if you know the answer please post it, but regardless i think i'd like a few of these shiny's XD

Shiny pokemon are extremely rare, there is only about a 2% chance of finding one, they are very valuable among collectors...

Arinura Shiny pokemon are extremely rare, there is only about a 2% chance of finding one, they are very valuable among collectors... its alot less than a 2% chance, its 1/8192, and they often look better than they're normal counterparts

Yaar the Wolf Actually,I`m sure thier stats increase a little. A shiny pokemon isnt any better in any battling regard as a regular! It just looks cooler! (usually!) What effects their stats is both their IVs and EVs! The IVs are just generated randomly when you catch a pokemon in the wild! So it does have the chance of having pretty good stats, but nothing a normal pokemon couldnt get!
