i've noticed something when im on the courts playing maybe it's just me but when i play, my mind is blank there isnt a thought in my head all i do is see a fuzzy yellow ball and instinctively hit it just right, i dont think to where i hit it i just place it instinctively beyond they're reach, like i was just hitting some balls with a friend the other day, not a match just ball hitting, but i instinctively kept hitting the balls close to the service of the court towards the corners and giving them alot of topspin to make them bounce out farther, so pretty much making them run the court, as i said i didnt do it purposely, it was just, instinct to do it. so my questions is to you guys,do you do this to by this i mean, do you just use instincts on the court? or do you guys actually think on the court?

I do a little of both. When I'm playing someone I can beat hands down, I play on instincts, because I can play my aggressive game style and win without having to alter game play. Now when I'm playing someone who challenges my game, I think on the court, constantly toying with my opponents weaknesses whether its picking on the backhand or bringing them to net (etc), it requires me to think strategically of how I can win.
