The water lapped at her ankles as she walked, the wet sand on her paws making her smile. She pressed a paw hard into the sand, taking delight in the fact that once the surf rose, it was wiped clean and it was like she had not been there to start with. She sighed. That seemed like life – she thought, somewhat morosely, before shaking her head firmly to dispel those thoughts.

She had made her mark on the world, through her daughter. Her daughter would live on and her legacy would live on, but still. What else had I'onoe done? She had done little in her life. She had been a mother. The bravest thing she'd done was leaving her mate and taking Nai'a with her, coming to the Bahari for safety and a new life.

A peaceful new life. Peace was lovely, but she hadn't made much of a connection with anyone in the pride and now her daughter was grown – I'onoe sighed again, but quickly pushed aside those thoughts, more firmly this time.

She continued along the edge of the ocean, allowing her paws and partway up her legs to become soaked. She paused to smile out at the water. She did love the ocean, more so now that she was part of the pride.

Neo'h had been spending a good amount of his time wandering the Rogue lands now. It was a nice wandering but he wasn't going to lie at all he was getting to the point where he was starting to get a little homesick, starting to get tired of wandering. He wanted to settle down but as of where he wasn't that sure. But there was one thing for sure right now. He had been enjoying the beach for a little while. He had been wandering on the shore for a while now wandering back and forth. He had been sleeping on the shores, letting the sand get all in his mane and his paws. He felt like a bit of a bum he had to admit but he was really, really enjoying this.

He had been wandering in the water, checking out and seeing as far as he could go. Not that long ago he wandered through a pride but he got through there quickly he didn't enjoy it much. He made sure to be clear of it before he settled in for the night. It was afternoon now and he was enjoying wandering the side of the shore. It was a very interesting he knew that it was very interesting. It was a different way of life and the last few days he was living here on the shore he was highly considering settling down on it. But he was starting to give up on the idea of settling into a pride it seemed like he wasn't going to run into another pride on the shore. If only he knew that he was stepping on a pride right now.

But something caught his eye. He looked up and in the direction of the lioness in his sights. He was happy to see the lioness it was a nice sign of life. "Hello Miss!" He greeted in a friendly way. He was a friendly kind of lion that was for sure. He loved making friends.

So caught up in her own thoughts, I'onoe didn't notice the male until he spoke, calling out a greeting. She startled, and swung her gaze to look at him, surprised that she could have missed him. He was very bright, she realised, but he blended with the water - except for the purple pink he had on his mane.

"Hello Sir," she called out to him, offering him up a friendly smile. She had never really been shy, but she was often considered quiet. She liked talking to new people, but when she didn't have anything to say, she was quite content with silence.

She was rather curious over him though. She had never seen him around before, but then she had not been that active within the pride. She had only met a few other pridal members before. She glanced back towards where she had come from and then back at him.

"Out for a walk?" She asked, to see whether he was a pride member, or just a random wanderer.

He was very happy to see that this female was friendly. That was much better then the last pride, or group of lions what ever they were, that he found on the beach. So the sight of a friendly lioness was a very good sign. He stretches his paws out enjoying the feeling of the sand and the water under his toes before he started to trot toward the friendly lioness. He wasn't sure if she was part of a pride or not but she was company and that was good. "It's nice to see a friendly face on this beach." He flashed her a grin, it was a charming one, one that he inherited from his father. "What is your name kind stranger?" He asked curiously.

He paused for a moment looking around. It was pretty beautiful around here. "Well I guess you could say that." He paused for a moment before looking back at her. "Well I'm a traveler I've been on a walk for quite some time." He chuckled quitely before tossing his hair out of his face. "I've been on a walk on this beach for the last few days. I really enjoy it. It appears to be a lovely place to call home." He chuckled once again, "I've enjoyed wandering for a good time now but I need to find a place to call home.

I'onoe was a little flustered by his charming grin, but offered a shy smile in response, shifting on her feet in the wet sand. "Haven't the other faces you've seen been friendly too?" She asked, faintly curious. She had only really met nice people along the beach, but perhaps she had been lucky, she mused. "Oh, yes. My name." Goodness, she was a bit flustered. "I am I'onoe," she said, bowing her head to him in greeting and casting him a bright smile.

Ah, that answered her question about him being a wanderer then. He was clearly not part of the Bahari. She looked rather curious over his words though. He was looking for a home? Well, then. "You're actually quite close to the Bahari'mtoto lands," she told him, gesturing back the way she had come. "I reside there myself, as a Kinengwe - or hunter. They have been very kind to myself and my daughter - if you are looking for a home along these sands, perhaps it might suit you there?" She had found peace there, at least and the male seemed rather taken with the beach.

Neo'h looked over at female then chuckled shaking his head, "not friendly at all. He was down the way a while. At first they were kind of friendly but it went down hill from there. I don't understand what happened really I was just kind of talking to one of the males and then he started to get a little nasty so I left." He shook his head before looking at her. "So I guess you could say that I'm really happy to see some one not going after me." He paused and then smiled as she said her name. "It is very nice to meet you I'onoe." He paused once again and grinned at her. "My name is Neo'h, I'm glad to meet you."

"Bahari'mtoto?" He arched a brow for a moment then listened to the rest of what she was saying. "Really?" He looked around at the area. He was pretty sure that all of this looked really nice. In a way it seemed almost too good to be true to be living there a nice place like this. It was amazing here he couldn't explain how much he was loving the view. "It is very beautiful here, It would be nice to live here." He thought about it before turning back toward her. "It's a friendly pride here?" He asked curiously before realizing the fact that he was on a pride. "I hope some one isn't going to be mad for me being on these lands." He said looking back at the male making usre.

I'onoe peered back behind him, as if she might be able to spot the unfriendly male, but made a mental note to not walk quite so far out of her pridal grounds as she had. What if she had been alone and had stumbled upon the rude male that this male had? It might have ended badly. "Well, I'm glad you came out of it okay," she told him earnestly, nodding. She smiled at his introduction. "A pleasure to meet you, Neo'h."

"It really is quite a beautiful beach," she agreed, casting her gaze out at the water and the surrounding sand, just as a small wave lapped at her paws. It was pure tranquillity to her.

"Oh, very friendly," I'onoe said, with a fast nod. "Visitors are welcome too, but if you plan to stay then you must take your rites to join the pride - it's all very calm though." She smiled. "No one would be mad, unless you start trouble." She didn't think he would though, but still she hesitated.

"You would be welcomed for a brief stay if you wanted to see the pride before deciding," she suggested.

"I'm glad it did too!" He chuckled nodding at the female before he stretched his paws out and then smiled. "Hopefully they stay over there and don't bother you guys here in your pride. It was just a little while away from here but I guess they like to stick to themselves. He looked at the lioness and then gave her a bit of a bow before speaking once again. "It's my pleasure." He really was glad to run into her he couldn't explain how happy, a friendly face was very nice to see.

"I'm not going to lie, I've seen very few things as beautiful as the things that I've seen on these shores." He turned to the Lioness. She was one of them for sure but she wasn't that sure of how the lioness would feel if she said the same thing to the lioness. He listened carefully to what she was saying next, it would be interesting to join a pride like this. It was a lot different from what he was used to a one point. He was born into a pirde in the desert. this was a lot different. There was sand though. That was good. "Would you mind if I stayed with you? It's a little akward to hang around in a pride where you don't know anyone." He once again was hoping that she wasn't going to get the wrong idea. "Or can you show me around and show me where I can stay?" He smiled at her.

She nodded and wondered vaguely if she should inform someone of the unfriendly group nearby, but perhaps others in the pride already knew of them. She was a newer member, so it was likely that the others already knew, so it probably wasn't worth trying to find someone to inform. She'd just be more careful when she went on her walks. She smiled at the male anyway, pleased it had been him and not the other male that she had stumbled upon.

She had been staring out at the ocean when he spoke again, so he missed the glance at her, but she glanced back to smile. "I feel the same," she admitted, with a light laugh - unconsciously mirroring his thoughts in thinking that he was amongst the handsomest things she had found along the shores and far more entertaining than the shells she's usually stumbled upon.

I'onoe was faintly surprised at his question, and felt a little flustered at the comment, but she continued to smile. "I - I wouldn't mind you staying with me," she murmured, shifting a little. "I know what it's like to be the new person in a pride. Although my daughter and I had each other as support." She smiled at him. "I guess that I'll be your support then." She was pleased that he was thinking of staying - it would be nice to get to know him better, she realised.

Neo'h stared out at the shores trying to act as if the lioness wasn't the main thing on his mind. Even if she wasn't that interested in him maybe the other lionesses in the pride would be just as attractive. But yet that didn't mean that Neo'h wasn't going to try to get the lioness's attention that was for sure, because he was going to try. He was very distracted into his thoughts until he realized that the female was speaking to him. He turned toward her and processed her words. He was very surprised that was for sure. She was inviting him into her den!

He was very happy with her offer and very surprised he was glad to know that he could possibly have a chance with her and not only that but he had a place to go. "Really?" He questioned surprised, he really had never met anyone like her who was willing to open her him to him. He looked down at his paws thinking for a moment before back at her. "Wow, that is kind of you to open your home for me. I would really enjoy it if I could." He paused for a moment and cocked his head, a little surprised by what she was aying but he wasn't going to be put off. "You have a daughter?"

Despite the fact that he had been the one to suggest it first, he seemed surprised when I'onoe offered her den to him to stay in if he wanted - and that in turn surprised her. Had he expected her to shun him, pretend she didn't know him when he came to the pride? That wasn't her style, and since she had been the one to introduce him to the pride, it seemed only fair that she show him around and teach him their ways, if he was interested in staying. She smiled at him, find it rather endearing when he stared at his paws, clearly thinking things through.

"Really," she told him, with a warm smile. "Yes. My Nai'a. We came to the Bahari when she was quite young - merely a juvenile. She's grown now, of course, and it seems so odd to me to think of her as an adult now." She wasn't sure how Nai'a would feel about I'onoe inviting a strange rogue to stay in her den, but her daughter was grown - she had her own life , and it wasn't as if Neo'h was a cruel male from what I'onoe had seen. Her was a wanderer looking for a home, just like I'onoe and Nai'a had been once. If only for that reason, he deserved a chance, and an offer of help.

Neo'h looked at the female and then nodded with a small smile on his face. "She must be a wonderful girl, her mother is pretty nice." He said simply before looking at the lioness with the smile still on his face. He flicked his hair out of his eyes before flicking his hair out of his eyes and then looking at the water thinking about how nice it would be to call this home. He paused for a moment before nodding at the lioness. "Is it alright if I stay the night and then leave for a few days before coming back?" He asked her curiously, before looking down at his paws before chuckling quietly. "I have a few things I want to take care of before I join." He nodded at the idea. He wanted to tell a friend of his that he was going to settle, and then he would be back.

"What happened to her father?" He asked curiously. "I hope I'm not stepping on any toes, it's really understandable if you don't want to tell me." He said that a little quietly. He was hoping not to upset the lioness with his questions. "You don't have to answer." He mentioned with the other comment, he wanted to make it clear and keep the other lioness comfortable.

I'onoe laughed lightly at his compliment of Nai'a, and a little bit flustered over his compliment of her."Thank you," she said simply, shifting on her paws but smiling still. She nodded at his question. "That's fine!" She assured him, "I'm not your keeper, so please don't feel like you have to answer to me about your whereabouts." She was slightly curious about where he was going, but like she said, she had no claim to him and she would not try to control where he was, or where he went. She wasn't like that.

She tilted her head to the side thoughtfully, considering his question even as he mentioned she didn't need to answer. She smiled a little. "It's fine," she told him honestly. "It's not a tragic story, and it's not something that upsets me that much anymore." She had Nai'a, and that made up for anything in her past, even her relationship with Nai'a's father. "We were young and foolish," she admitted, with a slightly bitter smile, which brightened to a real smile, "we had Nai'a but her father and I...we never really got on that well. When she was a juvenile, we spent most of our time together and her father was just...not part of us, so I told him we were leaving. Soon enough, it was just us for real." She laughed lightly, shaking her head. "And then we found here, found a home."

Neo'h chuckled quietly about the lioness's comment about her not being his keeper. He smirked for a moment before speaking, "but then agian with my last run in around here it might be helpful to tell some one where I'm going." He told the lioness simply winking at her. "If I say so myself, you never know when something is going to happen." He half teased smiling at her. "Hopefully nothing happens however on the other hand it's comforting knowing that some one knows that I'm supposed to return." He chuckled quietly, in a way almost trying to come up with an excuse. But he was determined on coming back. If anything to see this beautiful lioness again.

Neo' looked at the lioness and smiled at her "I'm glad to know that it isn't something that upsets you anymore, I wouldn't want to upset you." He said with a nod before listening to the lioness carefully. "I guess it's much better that you're here now." He smiled he felt like it was pretty true. He paused for a moment before speaking again. "Im' glad you guys found home here. I'm hoping that soon I'll be calling this home too, it seems so lovely." He said simply again before flicking his hair out of his eyes once again. He was really looking forward to this.
