Yep, Lit just walked right in. Dropping his jacket off on a nearby...place. A chair maybe? Sure. Anyway...dropping off his jacket, stretching out his wings, he listened around the house for any sign of where Dane and the tiny terror may be at. Not hearing anything at first, he started making his way for the kitchen...even if he didn't hear them, he knew that'd be a good place to start looking at least.

"Dane? Izzy? Hey guys, I'm home!" Home's where the heart is, yes?

Dane probably spent more time in the kitchen than any other place in the house, so it was a good guess and yes indeed he was there; what was left of a sandwich stuffed in his mouth as he turned around having heard Lit come in.

"Hey babe," Dane mumbled swallowing his snack. Something was definitely different about Dane he looked older, much more mature, and he had grown a few inched, and a few more around his waist. It seemed he had had one of the spawns famous growth spurts.

"How was work?" he asked, shoving the mayo back in the fridge.

Lit paused as he hit the doorway, looking over Dane with some surprise. Granted, he was always impressed with the way his fiance looked...but growth spurts were different. It made things special. With a wicked, wicked smirk tugging his mouth, Litural slipped up behind the green spawn, enjoying the fact that Dane was still shorter than he was.

"Look who's growing into his big boy pants," he rumbled warmly, nuzzling a shoulder as he wrapped his arms around Dane's middle. "So proud of you, babe," he chuckled, hunching his shoulders to rest a chin at where the nuzzles had been delivered. "Work was work. Though, I did have an interesting visitor. Remember Adriel?"

Dane slumped his shoulders, always a little cranky when Lit would press his buttons about being shorter,

"I grew into my big boy pants long before I was a big boy," Dane said reaching up to run his hand through Lit's hair.

"I think I remember him. I've run into him a couple of times before. How come?" he asked.

The grin turned into a down right devious chuckle at the slumping of shoulders, kissing Dane's cheek as his hair was ruffled. Squeezing that plump middle again, he eased away to peer into the fridge himself. Not that he was really hungry...but he knew he needed to plan dinner. Or maybe they'd order out tonight...who knew.

"He was walking by when I took a break. Stopped in to say hi, all that fun stuff." Lit glanced at his S.O. "He says congrats on being engaged to the most awesome Spawn to ever leave the facility, by the way." Chucklechuckle, tee hee.

"Oh, did he now? That sounds just oh so likely," Dane commented poking the tip of Lit's nose affectionately.

"By the way look out for Izzy, he's been practicing his 'stalking' skills today. He's jumped me three times and I told him if he did it one more time I would strap him to his damn bed until he learned to sit still," he rubbed the bridge of his nose, "I still don't know how dad was able to put up with this,"

A quick glance around, Lit suddenly wished Ryn was there. She always seemed to know when Izzy was about to strike...whether it was her sense of hearing, or her magic Aura Powers, didn't matter. He also knew better than to send out a warning; trying to tell Izzy 'don't' was just asking for trouble. A small grumble, Lit shook his head and went to lightly touch Dane's arm, his fingers gliding to his hand to interlock their fingers.

"You're doing a great job, Dane. He hasn't attacked me yet, and I've been here a whole three minutes. I think he got the message."

Squeezing Dane's hand, Lit marveled at their relationship. Not to make it "all about him"...but to be able to be this affectionate with Dane and not vomit violently just floored him.

"Speaking of kids...Ryn was asking me when we were gonna have kids of our own, again."

Dane held onto Lits hand longingly. He was still grateful for every day they had together. Still repairing his scars Dane was glad to have Lit for support.

Dane gulped and coughed a bit, if he had been eating still he might have choked, "Oh umm...did she?" he asked, "Well...what did you tell her?" he asked. He kept hearing Lit talking about Ryn asking about kids but he never really got Lit's input on it. He himself had no idea what to think on the idea.

"Same thing I always tell her, that we're not even married yet," Lit said, his face looking thoughtful...and his third eye positively bored, though it was glancing about. It was on a diligent look-out for any signs of Izzy; lit didn't want ot be surprised by the little bugger *again*.

Lit sighed, shaking his head. "To which she responded 'Well, you're going to HAVE them, right?'....which I never had an answer for." The chuckle was sad, not quite disappointed but along that line. He was quiet for a moment, thinking about his conversation with Adriel that day, and with his eyes focused on their clasping hands, he almost whispered "Did you know Adri has two kids now? A boy and a girl."

Dane tensed up a bit, "Oh, does he? I'm sure they're very happy then," he said trying to avoid Lit's eyes. He never knew what to think about kids of his own, it just felt so soon. It was a lot to think about before they were even hitched.

"He certainly seems it," Lit responded with a shrug. "Tired, but happy...no different from taking care of Izzy, I suppose. He said his little girl is a handful." A slight smirk, glancing up at Dane in a teasing sort of way. "Maybe I should I offered to trade her for Isaac? I'm sure she can't be any worse than him?"

He wanted Dane to smile. He didn't mean to make the other Spawn stressed. It was just hard, living with Ryn's constant asking, the questions about when they were going to get married and have a family. How could he not let the occasional thought wander in that direction?

Dane smirked slightly, "Well...he's a handfull but he's still my only brother," he said before hearing a rustling in the cupboard under the sink. Squinting his eyes disapprovingly Dane raised a hand and made a jerking motion. Suddenly the sound of pipes spraying filled the sink and a soaking and surprised Izzy came tumbling out from under the sink.
