Nyota spent her days with her new family. She grew quite attached to them over the short period of time they spent together. But even she needed space. The sun was just setting as Nyota walked along the beach; the sky was filled with rays of bright pink and purple rays.
Nyota climbed up a rock to sit on top of a boulder. She wanted to watch the sun set across the horizon. She couldn’t help but smile as the sun itself fell into the ocean.
The dark pelted lioness smiled as she saw the rays fade to a midnight blue. Night was her favorite time or day; it was so beautiful and peaceful. She looked up at the full moon and she knew she was never alone.
Kali roamed the roguelands he was tired and hungry. His paws ached with every step. His sides grew sore and he grew more lethargic. His mouth was dry and he needed water fast.
With the little energy he had left he made his way to a close by watering hole. He was close to the ocean he knew that because he could hear the crash of the waves. Other then that he had no clue where he was.
Kali made his way to the shore of the watering hole and lapped at the water. The cool rush of the water was magical. His mouth felt refreshed. The cold water however didn’t help with his hunger; But he was too weak to hunt all he could do was lay and rest and hope for a miracle.
The cool night breeze was perfect. The crash of the waves was soothing. It was perfect, well except for the pungent odor that made her nose cringe. She followed the horrible scent to see a fallen star. A neon blue male laying by the watering hole. Nyota got low and glared at the body for a few moments. She krept closer and pushed the lion and jumped behind a rock.
The male lion was slipping in and out of consciousness. He has no energy to even speak. He wanted to cry out for help from the female but nothing come out when he opened his mouth.
Nyota peeked her head out, “Hey are you okay?” Her tone was filled with fear and concern. He was large much lareger then her. But she would take him down if she had to. Nyota saw his helpless state and she knew she had to help, she didn’t want to but it was the right thing to do. She dragged his big body; all his dead weight to her old home; the den she gre up in. Her scent has almost faded; Has it really been so long?
The den; her den, the one she grew up in was now empty, so many memories, so many heart breaks, but she couldn’t think about it now she had to help the lion. She dragged him inside the den and went out to search for food.
Kali woke up to the smell of a dead hyena, it was taunting him the smell. He was so groggy he didnt know where he was or what was going on. He heard a sweet voice speak to him, "Go on eat." He tried to focus but his vision was a blur so he nodded and dug into the dead carcus that lay infront of him. It was so delicious he didnt even care to ask the female if she wanted any he was so happy that there was food for him it was so relieving. He knew he had to repay her and he knew how. When he finished he felt so full and he only left the bones. He finally looked at the female she was a black beauty. He stood up only to hit his head on the ceiling of the den. "Ow!"
Nyota couldnt help but laugh at the male when he hit his head. "Are you okay? i was worried about you for a moment there." Nyota stood outside of the den due to the fact that not her the carcus and this huge male could all fit in there and it allowed for a quick get away if needed. "Yor lucky i found you, otherwise you would have been the hyenas food." She smiled.
Kal looked at the female, "Thank you, i know the perfect way i can repay you." He gave a cunning smile. "Why dont you come in this den with me and i'll show you." He was greatful and he wanted to show just how greatful he was and she was very beautiful so why not try to enjoy something himself. This seemed to have pissed her off. "You want me to do what?!" She hissed at him her teeth shoed and this was the complete opposite of what he just saw.
Nyota was furious she just saved his life and to show his graditute he wanted to screw her?! What kind of s**t is that?! "This is how you repay some one who saved your life? You try to get them to sleep with you?" She growled those worrds threw her teeth and she backed up as he began to get closer. She was no one to mess with she grew up fighting. She snarled at the male. How did things go from bad to worse so fast?
Kal was moving towards the female, "You know i must thank you for saving my life, now come her and i'll show you my graditude." Food wasnt the only thing he hasnt gotten in a while and the loss of pleasure had finally driven him crazy. He leaped toward the female and she let out a roar and Kal found himself on the ground. She had clawed him dead in his face. He was surprised that such force came from a small little lion. When he stood up he could see the girl running off in the distance. He was pissed but he was in no mood to chase after her, he just hoped she didnt leave a scar.
