Sengoku Jidai: Age of the Country at War RP ((O/A))

Japan: 1545. This is Sengoku Jidai, the Age of the Country at War. For centuries, the Ashikaga Shoguns have ruled from Kyoto. Great power, and wealth were theirs. But the wheel of the time has turned....now the over mighty clans no longer obey. It has come time for a new Shogun to emerge...but who will be victorious...only time will tell...

We are in need of rpers of any skill level to join the rp! You can range from head of a clan to a samurai warrior or ninja or even a peasant if that is what you want to be. Everyone will be consider for the part that they wish to hold.

Current Clans Open for application:

Oda: Known for their use of mass Ashigaru, the Oda care immensely for their peasant population, as it is from this base that they pull their armies.

Takeda: Known for their superior horsemanship, a Takeda warrior was born in the saddle.


Uesugi: The Uesugi are proud of their Buddhist faith, and as such many from the Uesugi Clan are raised as monks, meaning the Uesugi pull the majority of their army from this base of highly skilled warriors.

Personality: Extremely aloof at times. Gintoki would rather be drinking a cup of sake, or talking with a beautiful girl, then performing the roles of Clan Head. When he does take his job seriously though, he is a master politician and strategist, he is also considered to be a fierce warrior.

Personality: aqua is a sweet girl if she wants to be but for the most part besides being a soilder she is cold and misterious she does what she is told and nothing els she trains whenever she can to improve her skills and after she is done with her missions she disappers and goes somewhere els away from everybody unless she is called up for a mission so yea aqua is a little anti-social because of her past that she likes to keep secret

Personality: Reserved when at home or not in battle, very aggressive in battle.Shirou is second to none when fighting on horseback, and he is a master archer. He uses archery as a stress reliever, and he believes that his horse is faster than any launched arrow, therefore not using the bow and arrow. Shirou prefers to spread the power of command among his higher ranked men, as he does not excel in leading the entire Takeda force.

Personality: He is calm when needed but very aggressive on the battlefield. He thinks strategically and would rather die than be defeated. He always comes out victorious and thinks that he has to be the best. He has a strong will and a good heart, he is gentle to animals but dislikes most people he meets. It is hard to get him to trust you.

Name: Uesugi, Mikan

Role: Swordsman

Equipment: Uesugi Katana, Uesugi Armor, Uesugi Kenshin's Shoulder Guards, Longbow and a quiver of 30 arrows.
Personality: Being of noble birth to the Uesugi clan, Mikan was taught to be courteous, kind, and polite to fellow nobles, as well as to lower class people. The rivalry with the Takeda clan has led Mikan to feel somewhat upset, as she is close with her soldiers and is affected by their deaths, especially by Takeda's hands. Now she seeks an end to the rivalry between her clan and the Takeda Clan, even if it means taking revenge on the Takeda Clan.
