User Image So like... Jezebell was in a vaguely good mood. Humming softly to herself she poked her wrench at random doors to see if they opened. She had some nice materials stacked up in her room. She just wished that she had the right tools to complete the tasks she had in mind! It was so horrible! This place was just a wreck! At least she had met some nice people though. For an Asylum that was super creepy it had some good folks in here. Jezebell kept getting distracted by her side interests. It made her feel a little guilty about forgetting to keep searching for her friend..well..she assumed she was her friend. She was here for her after all right? Yeah yeah, that is what a friend did. So she had to be one.

"Hmmm hmmm hmm." She hummed again and pushed another door with her wrench. She'd find Mills eventually of course. She'd keep asking people she met, and keep looking. But it was fine for her to fix a thing here and there right? Yeah, yeah it had to be.

Mills warily peeked around a corner a moment before thrusting herself into the open and skulking nonchalantly down the hall. Mills considered herself pretty tough -- she had to believe it or no one else would -- but some of these gijinka patients were damn scary. Da-yam scary. But she wasn't going to let anybody think that. No siree. Siree? What the hell? Mills snorted to herself.

Up ahead there was movement. She saw a form poking around at doorways with what looked like a long tool of some kind. Normally this would be a good excuse to turn the other way. But you know, Mills had to keep up appearances, even if she was the only one paying attention. It was a matter of principle. Plus, something about the movements was curious, and vaguely familiar.

She took a deep breath before opening her mouth. "Hey! Who are you and what are you doing?" she bellowed.

(Should have clarified XD The wrench is one of those small ones with the spinning top.)

Jezebell came to a dead halt as she heard a female voice calling out. Looking away from the door she'd been poking, she tilted her head to one side. Could it be? Her head tilted and she blinked again. A slow smile broke over her face. "THERE you are!" She exclaimed. This was awesome! Yeah! She had found Mills! Or had Mills found her? She supposed it was really Mills doing the finding, cause Bell had been the founded. Was Founded a word? It had to be, but did it mean what she thought it meant right now? She was Founded...that sounds about right. Okay. So like...now that the finding was all founded...

"Mills! Yeah yeah?" She called out as she started down the hall to the other quickly " There you are! This place is such a wreck! Where you been at girl? Your like, harder to find then a mouse in a haystack!"

Mills saw the figure's pause and braced herself. She really should learn to hold her tongue before assessing the level of danger posed to her. But she wasn't the sort to go slinking through the shadows... Well. Anyway.

Mills. Mills! Whomever this was knew who she was. A woman with a familiar voice, whom was it?

Then the figure was running after her with surprising speed. Mills' muscles tensed one way, ready to react; then they tensed another way, completely paralyzed. "Bell?" Holy... crap... "What..." she mumbled. Then, snarling: "What the hell are you doing here? Are you an idiot?" Never mind the original idiot, the fact that they were in good company, and that they were both likely stuck here, unable to leave even though they had no better reason than they were a couple of numb skulls.

Well... that caused Jezebell's feet to come to a complete stop. Her brown eyes blinked twice, then the stunned expression melted away into that pleased smile again. Smiling at Mills she gave a short but loud laugh. "Hee haa haa! Same old Mills! Bark bark! Okay! I get it!" She replied with a small salute of her wrench towards Mills. Silly ol Mills!

"Well isn't it obvious why I'm here?" She shrugged her shoulders and glanced down the hall behind her. best to make sure no one was coming up on them. They were just two normal girls having a chat. Yup. That was it indeed. Chatting girls! "So like, everyone pretended to not know where you went. It was like they just wanted to forget. I asked and asked and people just ignored. So I totally knew you were still here." With a flick of her wrench Bell pointed it at Mills. "And there you are, Yup! I came in to find you! Now your found!" She was feeling pretty proud of herself right now to tell the truth. She'd set out to find Mills and she had. Now... " now we just gotta get going home...but first..." Bell turned to poke at a door and scowled as it shifted unevenly on a single hinge. "Like, this is so broken! Everywhere! I would totally fire the janitor you know? I gotta fix some things first. I gotta get the locks all working or Narsico won't have any safe places for the gang to hole up. We're making a neighborhood you know?" Jezebell turned her gaze back to Mills and smiled even more proudly. "He's got like, the cutest ears ever, but you can't touch them or you'll get zapped but good!"

Obvious? Obvious had been the sentiment that no one would be stupid enough to come after Mills. After nearly nine months, only three possibilities as to her whereabouts existed: she was dead, still here, had gone off to school... or worst, locked up and knocked up. That was four possibilities. But some of them were ridiculous, so they don't count anyway.

The stricken look on her face was slow to bleed away. But which realization was more difficult to swallow, that no one had wanted to come for her, which she had assumed all along, or that someone had risked everything - life and future - to do so? Now that she considered this possibility though, the one person crazy enough to come, other than Mills herself, was Jezebell.

She wanted to argue bitterly, and her lips pursed to do so, that there was no way out. That was her current state of mind. Stupid Bell! But hadn't she insisted all along - to herself and anyone willing to listen - that someday she would get out, with that army of resurgents in tow? She blinked rapidly, her churning thoughts finally catching up to Bell's seemingly random ramble. "Wait... what did you say? A neighborhood?" This... this had possibilities! She growled, wiping a grubby sleeve across her face, "Something's... in my eye..."

While Mills had her mind tumbling through a great deal of emotional and stomach upheavals, Jezebell had been congratulating herself on achieving what she had set out to do. Even if it had been done indirectly. Her ever present cheerful energy would dim from time to time, that was only natural. Yet it was a unquestionable mark of her very nature that a smile would return to both her lips and eyes. Bell leaned forwards and reached her arm out in an attempt to hook her elbow through Mill's own.

"Yeah, yeah." She eagerly answered Mills. "I got some rooms cleaned out and some doors in place. I have been collecting lock pieces in the hopes of getting those repaired too. My room is full of scavenged supplies. I am sorry it took me so long to find you, but I couldn't just pass some of these things up when I see them. Never know what you'll need right? Right Mills?" She paused to look at the other, her brown eyes blinking.

"Something in your eye? I think I got a cloth scrap...or maybe the sink works? I can check it out for you Mills. I got my wrench." Bell held up the small wrench in question and shook it back and forth with a jingle.

(Stomach upheavals; cuuute, Akki. xD )

Mills did not move when Bell hooked their arms together. She was too busy considering what her friend was saying and what she personally had to offer to the project. She was moving ahead as she liked to do, pushing annoying emotions aside and grabbing hold of the useful ones. She batted at the wrench and muttered, "Forget it," before straightening a little, leaving a small wet stain on her sleeve. "Well you know, I have lots of stuff I found too, cause you 'never know what you'll need,'" she smirked as she parroted Bell's previous words. They were like-minded because they had lived so long in similar situations. And why were they so giving without a second thought, such as 'who else is involved,' or 'am I going to regret this'? Who the hell knows. "Maybe I've got some stuff this new neighborhood needs, right?"

Bell twisted the wrench around expertly in her fingers when Mills batted it away, then lowered it to her side. She didn't have a proper weapon here, but the metal of the small tool was a lot harder then a bare knuckle fist in her opinion. Having Mills echoing her own words of 'common sense' caused the brown eyed girl to brighten even more. "Yeah, yeah. Exactly what I was thinking Mills. Let's go check this stuff out, then I can help you move it to my room. Well, it was my room, but then i started stacking stuff there, so now it's like a supply room. but it's still mine." She shook her wrench so the little metal parts jingled. "Gotta watch the supplies to make sure no good scab comes and makes off with my scavenged goods." Jezebell felt thrilled as she started to try and lead Mills along, then realized that only Mills knew where her room was. She slowed her step, then gave a sharp overly happy laugh. "What? Course you do Mills! You, like, got the most important thing our neighborhood needs! You!"

Mills rubbed at her scalp with a heavily-sleeved hand. "Well I guess if you run out of space you can bunk with me for a while until everything's moved into place. Or you know, we could move stuff around so I can stay over and we can take turns watching it," she smirked. Bell happened to be 'leading' them in the right direction, so when she slowed, Mills tugged her along without slowing their motion too much. "Yeah, it's this way." She glanced back at Bell. What a crazy girl, thinking such things of Mills. But then, she'd have to be if she went into a place like this. Crazy or stupid. "Heh. Yeah, that's me." She almost said something about recruiting and armies but she doubted Bell would ever leave. There were too many things right here that needed fixing that she would no doubt want to fix. Mills would have to address that little problem later.
