Has anyone here had experience with a hive?

I am very interested in building one. The benefits of bees seem to be quite grand!

Not only are you helping preserve a dying species, but you also get pollinators for your garden (and your neighbors too~<3) and not to mention the quite obvious delicious honey

Does anyone have any tips, experiences or stories they could share?

I've got a little experience- but Bumblebees don't produce honey, Honey Bees do.

I was a bee-keeper for a summer and I learned so much about bees and how important they are to the environment. I love the idea of having my own hive one day. Fresh honey from the hive is like nothing else i've ever tasted. I cannot buy store-bought honey anymore because it just isn't the same
