Gossip, at once a valuable tool and a double edged knife. You could never be sure how much of the original story a bit of gossip retained, it could be down plaid, overplayed...or a flat out lie. It was a universal thing though, whispers went up and down the ranks of senshi, they traveled the shadowy crystal corridors of the Dark Kingdom... some died in the blood stained streets of Destiny city, or on the lips of those who's starseeds were torn out of them by a Yoma or some half maddened hand... but others...

Others reached his ears.

Some whispers moved faster than others of course, like this one... corrupting a Senshi before they could be awakened into the 'white shirted ranks' of their enemies...before they risked loosing so very much to whatever magic stripped them down to their core. That kind of whisper moved very quickly indeed, and had he been less occupied with other chores and whispers he might have moved on it faster out of pure curiosity.

"I hope... that I'm not interrupting." He said quietly, the very soul of decorum and civility. "I heard that we gained a valuable recruit... and I was curious."

Zinkenite arched a lofty eyebrow at the reactions, thanks to shadows and a sliver of a moon the smirk of amusement was... mostly hidden behind his mask preserving at least some of his 'quiet, short, dignity."

"I take it... I'll be instructing you on how to teleport." He said letting the smile widen to greater clarity behind his mask.

"...Then he can pass it on to you as well as soon as you earn your Promotion." He nodded to Fluorite with a heavy considering gaze like he were weighing her on some unseen scale. "I wouldn't imagine it to be -too- very long..." He added more quietly.

"So...she's your handler?" He said turning back to Alunite though his gaze then flicked between them again and he turned more fully back to Fluorite, both eyebrows lofted in an unspoken question.

Zink nodded, once in regards to 'teleportation' and then again when she said 'You really think so.'

"Yes... I really do. Now is the time to make yourself stand out should the situation arise Lieutenant, I think you have done well for yourself already."

he glanced upwards at Alunite with a polite nod of greeting then. "Not so long a story... My... half sibling is also a senshi, she recently joined us." He said which, coming from Zink was an enormous amount of personal information.

"It's a good thing that you found him before they did..." he added turning back to her, returning his gaze to her taller Brother he added. "If they found you first, you wouldn't even remember her after we saved you."

"Don't be sorry..." he said and shook his head, but his eyes did flick away, he might be a general, but he wasn't dead inside. "Half sister, we were raised apart..." he gave a small shrug like that dismissed the matter as a whole.

"I'd better teach you how to teleport then." He nodded slightly. "If your interested, bear in mind that it will wear you down, Even as a senshi it will tire you...strategically it's best left as a last resort."

He shifted his stance slightly, like he were contemplating something.

"What are you Senshi of?" He asked pointedly. "I can never trust the whisper mill about such things, too risky."

"Impressive..." Zinkenite said with a nod. "I can think of a lot of ways that could be put to use..." He said and it was almost possible to hear the gears turning in his brain. A bright light shone in his eyes, almost a dangerous one if you were on the wrong side of it.

"It isn't so very terrible... the fortunate thing is that I have never heard of anyone having the gross misfortune of teleporting into any THING or any ONE, so you won't be popping up with extra arms or missing them either, not from the teleport at any rate."

"Try... moving yourself to that corner over there... the less distance you travel the less energy you drain from yourself ultimately, however...things like great injury can make it hard to teleport, potentially impossible so keep that in mind too please... just focus on that corner..."

Zink glanced at Fluorite amused. "Don't worry... It will still wear him out, and they are more or less the...cannons in our artillery. But also remember that the other senshi may target him FIRST because he has 'betrayed' them... it's like an insurance policy on your family."

He paused again looking thoughtful. "Have you worked together yet?" He asked suddenly. "Have you practiced fighting as a team?"

"Not all of them will..." He said and made a small 'Hmm' Sound. "Alright, seeing as I'm here..." He laced his fingers together for a moment and popped his knuckles before adjusting his sleeves slightly.

"Show me." He said as casually as though he had just offered you the tea he was sometimes seen with. "Tit for Tat... I've taught you to teleport now show me how well you two can play off each other's strengths...alright?"

He spread his hands wide and inviting, tilting his head as though inviting them to take a free first shot if they were willing to take that risk. It might have been intimidating with the cold calculating expression on his face had he weighed in at more than 5 foot, and slender.

Zinkenite paused, lifting his chin and for a moment it seemed like he might argue the 'closed eyes' point before he nodded. "Alright... Alright that would be good training. That is a good idea too... I like that, mostly."

There was just a hint of doubt in his voice, his eyes flicking to one side, easy to read as doubt.

"Alright..." He nodded again. "I'll refrain from using my weapon for... at least the first 3 strikes as well, alright?" He said offering them an advantage as well. "Non lethal of course." He added with a small inclination of his head.

"First attack goes to you then, assume you have the element of surprise." He said and let his arms drop to his sides, almost casual, poor Alunite had two things he didn't know working very hard against him.
