Physical Characteristics Namrah look like a cross between a fox and cat, with pointed rabbit or kangaroo like ears that end in little tuffs of fur. These creatures come in a variety of coloration and markings that can only be stopped by the imagination. These endless varieties make each Namir unique and easy to identify between each other and other creatures on the island. Like any creature, each Namir has its own unique personality which easily blossoms out during the kit and teen years.
Namrah have retractable claws which they use to grasp on to things, climb and for defense purposes. Like human nails, the claws usually grow, which means they have to be sharped down every now and then to make sure they don't grow out too far or curl in to their paws.
Their ears, which can rotate 180 degrees, can pick up the faintest of sounds, which comes in handy when hunting prey items. Along with rotation, the ears can perk straight up in to the air, pin back against their head, or flop down along the side of their face.
A namir's eyes are like a mix of animal and human eyes. They can see in color and do well in the dark with animal night vision.
Namrah can make a variety of sounds, including barks, growls, yips, howls, chirps, and coos.
A male adult can weigh between 35 to 50lbs, while females can weigh between 25 to 40lbs. Male elders can weigh between 100 to 150lbs, while female elders can weigh between 90 to 135lbs. General behaviorNamrah can mostly be found leading a single lifestyle, though mated pairs are common, while pack like groups are extremely rare, though not to say they may not exist. Sometimes siblings will group together for sometime while they get on their feet before separating to start lives of their own. It is also not usual for a pair of friends to company each other to help each other out for some time.
When it comes to meeting strangers, Namrah are usually friendly, if not a bit wary or territorial at times. However, most of the times meetings with strangers do go well and strangers become friends, and that bond can last a short time up to a lifetime. MatingNamrah can either life mate or have flings. In a lifetime a Namir will have 3 litters with anywhere between 2 to 4 eggs per litter, though more can happen, but is rare.
Namrah start looking for love when adulthood hits. Young love may start to blossom during younger stages, but they DO NOT start looking or thinking about mating or sex until adulthood since they have no reason to start digging in to that hole until then.
With lifemating, the eggs are basically guaranteed to be taken care of and looked after. However, with flings, at times the eggs are usually abandoned by both or one single parents.Basic DietPlant Life Namrah eat a variety of plant life and vegetation such as fruits, vegetables, acorns, berries, and even sometimes the leaves and petals from plants and flowers.
Animals of prey Small rabbits, small birds, lizards, insects, snakes, squirrels, rats, mice, fish, oysters, and crabs. Basically any small mammals.
Human foods Like normal human pets, Namrah can eat certain human foods and snacks, especially when it comes to larger sources of meats like beef, pork, chicken, ect. However, when it comes to snack foods and sugars, they should be eaten in small doses.
Also, remember, they CAN NOT have anything with chocolate in it!
When it comes to anthros however, they do have a tolerance for chocolate and human foods.

EggsEggs are the starting point of life for all Namrah. During this stage they grow and develop within the stone line shell of the egg. Though they are not fully conscious within the shell, from time to time they do react to the on goings of the outside world.
Height: About the size of an ostrich egg. KitsAfter around 1 week a kit will emerge from the egg. At this stage in life the kit is completely dependent on their caretaker. Their minds are new to the world around them and are very impressionable. During their time as a kit, the Namir learns basics like walking, talking, and social skills. It is important to note that a full diet of hard foods are not recommended for kits.
Height: Kitten sized. TeensAfter 2 weeks a kit will reach teen hood. At this point a namir will be less dependent upon their caretaker and turn to learning the basics of surviving on their own. They will also spend some time on their own away from their caretaker to gain independent freedom. Like every teen, a namir will start to go through significant mental changes, like becoming interested in life, the future, start looking in to the opposite sex, but won't do anything with them.
Height: Around 1ft tall. Think growing puppy size. AdultsCongrats, your Namir has made it to adulthood after 3 weeks, a stage that will last forever, less they go anthro or elder, then they will forever stay there. At this point in their life they are finally fully independent and may now go out to find a place of their own, and maybe at some point search the pool of love to find a mate, and start a family.
Height: Around 2 to 3ft tall. EldersA special handful of adults will ever make it to adulthood. Elders are one of the wisest of those who occupy the island. Elderhood is granted to those who go through great tasks in their life and prove they stand above the rest in honor and survival.
Height: Around 4 to 5ft tall. AnthrosAnthros are those who take on a more human quality to their life and appearance. Gaining a human body, save the ears and tail, they open their world to the views of a human world, and well..HANDS! They ability to now use thumbs dang it! Anthros come in teen stage and adult stage, you can gain both or go straight to adult.
Height: Varies around any height a human can hold.

Yays >>Namrah are wild animals. >> Namrah live outside in caves, meadows, whatever. >> Namrah can live with humans if they so choose. >> Anthros CAN live in cabins and such, or out in the wild. >> Cosplays and OCs can know about human society, though the knowledge is limited. >> Namrah can learn how to read. They can also learn to write via scribbling, using their tail and or claw.
Nays >> Namrah cannot live in houses on their own. IE, own a cabin or something. >> Namrah don't know the ins and outs of human society. >> Namrah don't do drugs, smoke, drink alcohol, ect, less they are anthro, but still, it should be LIMITED since such items are not regular on the island, and basically >>>the island is drug free. >> The island does not hold grocery stores, shops, malls, ect. >> Namrah don't have thumbs, so they can not cook, use phones, chop sticks, ect. >> Namrah are not born with the ability to read. It is a learned skill like anything else. >> There are NO electronics on the island. Items like computers, cellphones, TVs, ect are useless on the island. If someone wants a place to stay, needs new clothes, food, ect, well start gathering, farmings and or buildings.
