A rather small building to be a dojo, located some 100 or so miles away from the seireitei. Surrounded by the residences of this general area, often helping those who hide his presence with food, water, and other resources. To get to his building, a wood gate. Behind this gate is a long walk way made of the same wood as the buildings surrounding them, making it hard for a person to spot at all. This dojo was made specifically to hide Mifune from the Shinigami, and has worked for the past 200 years.

After following this walkway for a few minutes, a rather large opening with a small dojo, a small pond, and some trees. As you walk in, the first thing you'll notice is the motto for the dojo, which is said everyday by the teacher and the students (if there are any).

"I will defend those who cannot defend themselves, for if I have the power to do so, then it is my burden that I must use the power gifted upon myself to protect. I will never use my strengths or knowledge for any other purpose."

Another note directly under this one, carved into the wall with delicacy and smoothed into perfection. Obviously done by Mifune himself with a knife before he had achieved his zanpakuto.

"No warrior can win every battle, but we will fight to the ends to protect those we love. There is no such thing as sacrificing our beloved."

As you turn the corner, you find on the floor a regular mat with a fairly simple pattern. To the north wall, a katana with the same dojo motto, and under it another katana with the same note under the motto. To the west wall, a picture of Mifune, and another of a familiar, much younger Tsukirou. The same blue hair, the joyful smile. His fox ears didn't exist then. To the east wall, was filled with training weapons, real weapons, distinctly organized in no specific way. However, it was fairly clean, and the real weapons were sure to be away from the training ones as to not mistake one for the other. There is a chandelier on the center ceiling, and when lighted makes the whole room bright. This light is turned on by a switch when entering the door way to the left, which in switched, a spark is made inside the chandelier and lights the alcoholic inside. This stuff can be spilled, however the entire chandelier would have to be turned upside down to do that.

There is a secret to this place however... The floor is made of hard wood, but if one were to investigate one would find a door under the mat. The door leads outside under the dojo, but what lies beneath?

((There is NO posting here unless you're told to. There is a REASON why this place is so well hidden. There is no reason WHY you should be posting here unless I tell you to, and I don't want anyone to think that they can just walk in here and say that "Ooo a dojo, I wonder who this belongs to.." no. Just no. Don't even post here OOC. This is Mifune's hideout and getaway from the Seireitei, and no shinigami has been able to find it for 200 years. I don't want to hear no eureka outside my dojo, or Mifune's gonna come out and that will be the last thing you ever say. Comprende?))

There was a soft breeze near a cluster of buildings some ways from the Seireitei. The residence, although kind looking and not as rowdy as the others in Rukongai, knew that the breeze was coming from a direction opposite of the true wind. The streets were filled quickly with the residences. A light blur, barely visible in the light, quickly shot through the gates and the door shut quickly. The people who were walking soon returned to their homes, and close their doors.

Mifune and his zanpakuto walked through his walkway and into his dojo. The 2 figures went through the dojo into another room. The much larger man placed Tsukirou onto a bed. He was covered with blankets and a warm damp towel on his head. Mifune knew that it would take a few days for Tsukirou to wake up, and that when he did the boy would probably be hungry. The man let out a weak sigh.

"How did you get into this mess Tsukirou... You never did know when you reached your limit."

Kureigu looked down on the boy in a sort of amazement. He was rather curious about how this boy could have possibly met Mifune's standards. The zanpakuto always saw Mifune as strict, yet kind. Powerful yet merciful. Tsukirou, as young as he was, didn't seem to show much potential to Kugeiru.

"I suppose I should not judge a book by its cover... Mifune, would it be alright if we retrained the boy?"

The zanpakuto's voice was extremely deep. Deeper than a bass guitar could possibly play. There was a power in the man's voice that seemed to make the room tremble. Even Mifune was not used to it after all these years.

"I don't think that would be impossible, Kureigu, however do not be so certain that he will recover entirely when he wakes up."

The zanpakuto looked down on his wielder, resting his hand on Mifune's shoulder.

"To train him while he is weak, will make his powers unmatched when he regains his strength."

Mifune thought about that fact for awhile, finding a ton of truth in his words. Mifune sat down in his usual meditating position with his zanpakuto in hand, and rested the blade upon his lap.

"We will see..."

Kureigu placed Tsukirou's blade carefully against the north wall right next to the bed, and sat down in front of Mifune in the same position as he.

"Very well... I will see that the boy receives proper training before going back. He has much to learn."

The two became quiet as they began to concentrate their powers into a calming wind within the room.

Days Tsukirou has been unconscious - 3
____________________________________________________________

Mifune, Kureigu, and Tsukirou are in their exact positions they were in 72 hours ago. The only things changed in the room was the lighting as the days have gone by. The air seemed to be circulating the same as it was 3 days ago. Mifune opened his eyes to check on Tsukirou for the first time, disappointed to see him still in the same condition as he was in before. The man stood up and walked through another pair of doors into a kitchen, grabbing a quick drink of water. The man was obviously tired, but it was his zanpakuto's way of training; a long endurance of purely meditating for extremely long periods of time. This was not the longest Mifune had gone without breaking concentration, however the sudden thirst had caught him off guard. That and with his student still unconscious in the room, it was hard for the man to stay focused.

"He will come out of it."

Kureigu was still meditating even as Mifune had stopped. There was no competition, however it would keep Mifune wanting to continue the training. The zanpakuto did not mind the needs for thirst, however the distraction from Tsukirou being in the room was no good for his training with Mifune.

"If it would be easier for you to train in the dojo room, we could-"

"Do not worry about me worrying about him. Tsukirou will recover as I remember how he recovered last time. He was out for about 3 months before he had regained consciousness. This shouldn't take longer than that."

Mifune placed the glass in the sink, changed the towel on Tsukirou's head, and sat down once more in front of his zanpakuto. The weather outside was quiet, and it bothered the man. He knew though, that in his spirit world there would be rain. There was always rain in his world.

"Shall we return, Kureigu?"

"Only if you are ready, Mifune. There is no rush..."

Both closed their eyes, concentrating solely into their meditation. There was a stronger wind outside of the dojo, which relaxed Mifune further into concentration. The room was once again silent of voices.

Days Tsukirou has been unconscious - 13
____________________________________________________________

It is night, Mifune and Kureigu are still in their trance. Mifune opens his eyes after 7 long days and stands to look over his student. Tsukirou's breathing had not changed, and his color was regaining. However, he had not moved since Kureigu had placed him in bed. Mifune changed the towels once more, and took out a sleeping bag from the closet. It was the old sleeping bag Tsukirou used while he freeloaded there.

"Bed time, Kureigu."

The huge zanpakuto sighed and looked up at his wielder, the armored man sounded rather stressed than relieved.

"He has not waken yet. Are you sure that bringing him here and not letting the medic finish her job a good idea."

"If you remember, there were no injuries on the boy. She was only wasting her energy on him when she could have been using it on the captain."

"Speaking of whom, how do you think she's doing?"

"She'll survive."

Mifune fell on his pillow, and closed his eyes, quickly falling asleep. Kureigu dematerialized into the blade, and the room became still.

The morning light awakened the samurai, his eyes slowly opening to the new day. He stood up from where he was, remembering that he had brought Tsukirou in and slept on the sleeping bag. Mifune got up and began his daily chores. Sweeping the patio, waxing the dojo floors, polishing weapons, sanding practice bokutos. There was always something to do. He began changing the sheets in his bed, cleaning the dirty ones in the pond and hanging them out to dry. It wasn't until Mifune clipped the line of sheets to let them dry until something clicked. Thinking over his recent activities, he remembered Tsukirou was on that bed.

"What the hell... Where did I..."

Mifune double checked the bed. Tsukirou wasn't there. He looked outside once more, and Tsukirou was actually on a tree branch above the pond. Mifune sighed in relief, thinking he had lost his student again after just finding him.

"So how did I get here anyway? One minute I'm in the squad 5 captain's office, and now I'm back at the dojo. What gives?"

"Better get your timeline straight, you've been out of it for 2 weeks now. It's about time you got up. It's time we start your training."

"I'll be right down, Sensei. I thought you'd never- Wait two weeks?!"

Tsukirou sat up quickly and lost his balance out of the tree. He fell on his back hard, knocking the air out of him. After coughing it out and brushing the dirt off him, Tsukirou went hysterical.

"What do you mean two weeks?! As in fourteen days? What?!"

"Calm down... Now get prepared. You're going to learn how to use that zanpakuto of yours the right way."

Mifune went inside the dojo, expecting Tsukirou to follow. He didn't want to waist time now that he had awakened. He had thought about what Kureigu said about training him while he was weak, and felt that it was the best idea at the time.

We'll see how it plays out...

Tsukirou followed close behind, trying over and over again about what he had been doing in the past 3 weeks. The only thing he could remember was stopping Bokou from snitching, and falling asleep in the squad 5 captain's office.

"Well at least it's back to old times... I think. Where did he put my sword?"

Days out of Soul Society - 16

"Let's take a break, Tsukirou. This has gotten us no where."

Mifune sealed his zanpakuto back into it's single katana blade, and sat where he stood. He was unscathed, and yet Tsukirou seemed to have been bleeding from everywhere. They were in an absolutely huge training area, similar to the underground areas under Urahara's shop and the one under the Sogyoku Hill.

"Just a bit longer, sensei..."

Tsukirou was leaning on his blade. It was in it's sealed form, obviously taller than he himself was. He was bloodied and cut everywhere, and his jacket was torn to shreds. The remains of it was on a rock somewhere as to not cause it further damage. Tsukirou was ashamed to see his only keepsake destroyed in training.

We have been training for 48 hours straight. Give it a rest. You are not invincible, you have natural boundaries, limits if you will. This is exactly why your powers were taken.

Mifune noted the fact that Tsukirou's blade had still been unreleased. It was like Tsukirou didn't even know Ginnuzoku's name. The strangest part, Tsukirou HAD forgotten his own zanpakuto's name. There was nothing he could do to remember, and training these past 2 days hadn't brought him any closer to figuring it out.

"You almost hit me that time, but you won't hear an enemy saying that unless they were taunting."

"Perhaps I am speaking out of place here, but the boy seems to have no recollection of any of the abilities given to him by his sole zanpakuto. You have lost something your zanpakuto had sworn to help protect. What is it, Tsukirou, that you have lost?"

"I.... I don't know..."

The blade Tsukirou was leaning on fell forward, and Tsukirou fell with it.

Days out of Soul Society - 17

Only after a few hours of rest, Mifune and Tsukirou were at it once more. More than one of Mifune's blades, the ones he was holding as well as the ones impaled in the ground, were soaked in crimson blood. Tsukirou's zanpakuto had only the blood dripping from his soaked hands onto the handle. Mifune was out of breath, however he knew that Tsukirou still had tons to work on.

"All of it is off Tsukirou. This is not what I taught you 2 years ago. Again."

Tsukirou growled in bitter anger, charging once more into the attack. He didn't get 15ft when one of Mifune's blades impaled him through the side.

"Wrong. Do it again, right this time.

Tsukirou was going to lose it all at once if he didn't die first. He took the time to first pull out the blade and threw it at Mifune, only for it to be boomeranged back through his mid-side. He fell to his knees, blood splattering everywhere.

"You're finished Tsukirou. And you have done only one thing right, and it still ends up getting you an F. Wasting my energy. Get in the springs"

Mifune watched as his student fall to his face, and sighed in disbelief.

Have you remembered anything I've taught you?

Kureigu brought the boy's body into the springs, letting the hot water heal his wounds. The rather large zanpakuto could not fit in the hotsprings with his wielder, so he simply sat where he stood, and began meditating.

He will become stronger Mifune... Time will tell you soon enough.

Days out of Soul Society - 20
____________________________________________________________

"Damn... He's gotten better.. But what the hell is that?"

Mifune watched as Tsukirou was defended by a black spike looking thing coming out of the ground. His blade clashed against it not too long ago, completely deflecting it as if there was nothing to it. Mifune had to give himself time to think about what it was.

It can't be his zanpakuto... There's no reiatsu coming out of him at all. There's no way he should be able to summon that thing without the use of reiatsu. And this dark aura...

Mifune was panting now, out of breath from fighting a practically different opponent. It was Tsukirou 3 days ago, but now it was like he had changed completely. His tactics, his attacking, his intention, his instincts. All of it was not like Tsukirou at all, however, the change it was working.

"You've adapted..."

"I've finally got you on the defensive, so I'm not stopping so suddenly. I'm not done yet..."

Tsukirou touched the black spike, and it disappeared instantly. The boy then began charging at his teacher, giving him a deathly stare. He was no longer just serious, he was content. His next slash went down to Mifune's shoulder.

"Keeping the movement, I see how it is..."

The man blocked the massive blade with his right hand blade, but the strength in the attack forced him to use both hands now. The sheer strength in the boy now was extraordinary. Mifune knew that Tsukirou had changed sometime during the training.

Odd... This boy was at a ground level strength when we first started, now Mifune is having trouble keeping up with him. I believe I understand why Mifune had chosen him. The boy's spiritual level may now be nonexistent, but he is quite capable...

"You're going to need more than those two blades to keep up, sensei."

Almost like a promise, Out of the sleeve of the same arm holding his zanpakuto, a black bladed spike quickly shot out towards his teachers head.

What the-?!

Mifune had to move his head back to avoid that attack, losing his balance and causing his blades to be pressured back against Tsukirou's blade. Using the wind, he had two katanas come out at Tsukirou from behind in hopes of distracting him.

Tsukirou felt the wind change ever so slightly, and turned to see the two blades coming at him, fast! Switching hands with his zanpakuto, he slashed both katanas down with one slash, releasing the pressure on Mifune's blade.

Mifune fell to the ground after losing his balance, stabbing his blade into the ground before landing on his back. He watched as both of his katanas fail to give him enough time to recover.

Damn...

Tsukirou, using the momentum of his large blade, continued spinning to attack Mifune once more, only for his attack to be stopped by the katana Mifune had impaled into the ground.

NOW!

Using his other blade, Mifune fired a transparent wave of reiatsu directly at Tsukirou. This wind attack caused him to fly backwards about 20 or so meters, putting some distance between himself and his student.

With little time, Tsukirou twisted his body out of the attacks away. Mifune's last attack made it's way through a rock, not slowing down or making rough edges all the way through the solid stone. Using that same speed in the spin, and his blade at full force, Tsukirou hit the same katana that saved Mifune, causing it to be shot straight at his teacher.

After just recovering, Mifune had little time to slow the blade down with his wind, and stopped it using both his own blades instinctively. There was tons of force pushed onto the blades.

With another full spin, Tsukirou launched his own blade at Mifune while he was still busy with his own katana.

Mifune was completely unprepared for the attack, allowing all four of his blades to stop the attack at once. That had complete pressure on all the katanas to stop that one massive blade. The speed and power Tsukirou put into it was just incredible.

At flash speed, Tsukirou was already behind Mifune facing away from him. He had a black blade in his hands already covered in blood. He didn't look back, he already knew he had hit him.

"Checkmate..."

Mifune's eyes were wide, simply amazed that Tsukirou had pulled that off in the split second he had to react. The man smiled, finally satisfied with his student once again.

"That was... perfect."

The man burst into a crimson color, 3 slashes to his front body, and 4 more gashes to his back. The man fell forward, unconscious before hitting the ground. His breathing was shallow, but he was still alive. 499 blades on the field disappeared, leaving behind one blade in Mifune's right hand. Training was officially over.

Just like old times...
