Commonly Living It Free FallingThe first thing you notice open walking over to the booth is the boldly painted sign, the second that it is deserted. No, not in the fact that you’re the only person inspecting the booth, the owner of it isn’t there. How… inconvenient. All that you can see on the booth itself is a blank sheet of paper labelled as a sign-up sheet for the club, not that you know what its even a club for, and a locked box. Well, that’s boring. Though there does seem to be something behind the booth against the wall of the school building… ((OOC: This booth is a CYOA and whilst there will be games later at the moment you have to RP exploring the environment described to find any prizes - or Mandy!))

I guess you could try and open the locked box or sign yourself up to this unknow club but really without the booth owner theres not much to do. The sign-up sheet doesn't even tell you who's the President. How inconsiderate. --- Oh look! Mandy appeared, for, er, a minute at least and she appears to have left you all with an activity! Using whatever format you may like; writing, tektek, photoshop, interpretive dance, ect., show what outlandish outfit your character would be willing to bungee in, there will be prizes! Remember; The Motto is 'Falling With Style!'

The more adventurous of you may have snuck behind the booth to see if the owner had anything interesting hidden. They didn't. All that was behind the booth was a large cushy looking blue crash mat pushed against the buildings wall. You should all most defiantly NOT be tempted to climb to the roof with that promise of safety, it doesn't matter that the bricks here look rougher and easier to climb than elsewhere. It would be risky. Waaaay too risky. ...Though no one is here to stop you.

xxxxxPaige was walking down the hall, disinterested with most of the booths. Fearleaders was full of bouncy ghouls ... definitely not meant for Paige. Scario kart was interesting enough, but Paige really couldn't care less for electronics- save for her faithful skelephone and groanspring. She was beginning to think there would never be a club for her- that she would just be one of those girls in the school who sat in the corner of the lunch cafeteria, all by themselves. Friendless.
xxxxxThen something did catch her eye. CLIFF club? Paige's hometown had big cliffs. They were constantly scaled by adventurous little behemoth boys who had just come of age. The booth brought her reminiscing back to the sheer cliffs- all brown and craggy and ... so unreliable it was delicious and exciting.
xxxxxSo mustering up her pride, Paige walked up to the booth, expecting to see a club member pop up and begin telling her all the great things she could accomplish and experience by joining this club.
xxxxxThere was no one. Nothing. No brochure. No cute little pamphlet. Nothing.
xxxxxA discourage and disheartened Paige began to look around the booth for some sign of life. Or death for that matter. There had to be someone right? Someone set up the booth, didn't they? Perhaps there was a ghost just phasing out due to ... shyness? "H-hello? Is anyone there?" she said. Paige raised her voice a little, but not enough to cause a ruckus. After all, no one wants to be friends with the crazy girl who talks to herself right? Then again, Paige had met lots of nice people who talked to themselves, including this nice old man with purple hair she had met on the train ride over here...
xxxxxJust where was the booth manager?!

There was the sound of rock hitting rock as a small pebble tumbled down the wall behind the booth and then silence.
I don't think there's any shy ghosts here Paige.
You're alone, forever alone.

West hurried through the open house, his head down and his hands in his pockets. He couldn't think of anything he wanted to be doing less than attending this idiotic mess of school pride, but he had promised his father he would come, and the older wrath demon had a weird way of knowing whether or not West kept his promises. The boil thought maybe his father had paid someone to install listening devices in his dorm, but it was likely he simply asked the faculty for reports on what his son was up to.
He stopped short in front of the CLIFF booth, not because of any interest he might have had in the activities of its members, but because there was a thoroughly punchable boil staring at some nearby FEARleaders and blocking up foot traffic for the students who were not all that interested in ogling at the moment. West sighed, loudly and angrily, and turned his head, noticing an odd, nearly empty booth. What in the hell was being advertised here? He glanced at the signup sheet.
"Weird," he muttered.

Next to the sign-up sheet the locked box rattled ominously as though something inside it was straining to get towards West.
You, um, might want to step away. Defiantly don't try and open the box, I don't care if the lock looks flimsy West should not be tempted at all.
The box rattled again, ominous yet promising excitement.

xxxxxThe booth greeted her with nothing. No ghoul popping up to scare her. No shy ghost boil in the back that just didn't want to be seen. It looked like the booth was really empty ... but it couldn't be right? Why would someone set up a booth and just leave it? There was always the inevitable bathroom stop, but why would the booth be left unattended.
xxxxxSighing, Paige started walking away, simply out of disappointment and the desire to be around other people, not just stand at a booth alone. Then a lone little pebble fell onto the table, a noise that Paige could hear even in the noisy hallway.
xxxxxAs though the pebble somehow gave her a permission slip certifying her to search the booth, Paige immediately dashed behind the counter. She searched under the little table that was set up. Still nothing. Another pebble fell from the ground, taunting her, saying "c'mon Paige. Where is it?" What 'it' was, Paige wasn't really sure yet.
xxxxxPaige looked at the rock that fell. Maybe there was a secret message in it. She reached over the table and picked up the rock, prodded it, poked it, even went so far as to lick it. Nothing. In frustratioin she threw the rock at the wall behind the booth.
xxxxxWait just a tick. The wall and the rock were made of the same thing. Did the ... did the wall have something? She pushed a few bricks in, looking for some sort of Diagon Alley behind the booth. Hey ... these bricks ... they're like ... why are they sticking out? Paige thought. Could she ... could she climb it? Somewhere in back of her a boil had just approached the booth, but she was far too focused on this wall. She just knew it did something.
xxxxxOne foothold at a time, she began her ascent of the wall. The students in the hallway must've thought she was crazy. First talking to no one, and then climbing the wall at random. Regardless of how crazy she looked though, Paige decided that if this booth didn't yield anything, she was going home. She didn't want to be outcast.

Hmm. That was even weirder. West could have sworn that locked box had moved.
It had moved. There it went again.
He peered around, looking for witnesses, and seeing only one preoccupied ghoul he had never met before, West reached out and gave the box a nudge then a firmer shake. Take that, seizure box.

Rattle
Rattle
Rattle
...
Erm maybe you should stop taunting the box Wes-
RATTLE
Oops too late.
CRACK.
The box burst open as something tentacled forced its way out, latching onto Wests face.
Now you've done it. Better roll a D20 to try and get it off.
Sitting innocently on the table the box snapped shut, re-locking.

xxxxxShe was almost to the top of the booth! She could practically see the top, if it weren't for the fact that her face was smooshed up against the rock. It didn't smell too nice either. Somewhere below a boil was arguing with ... a box? The behemoth didn't look down though. First rule of climbing: never look down.
xxxxxThen the worst happened. One of the bricks flew out of the wall and knocked her in the stomach. How was that even possible?! Was this school alive or something? Seriously, what the hell. Jackdammit she was falling!
xxxxxPaige fell and fell and fell, crashing to the ground with a dull thud. There was a mat below the wall, conveniently placed, but it still hurt to jacking FALL. Luckily her scarf broke the fall a TEENSY bit more, but it was still super painful. The spiked ends of her scarf poking her legs didn't really help either. Still, the falling part had been fun. Paige looked at the wall again and back to the hallway. She could go into the hallway, looking for another club desperately where she could fit in, or she could tackle this wall like a lunatic. Still, no one had given her odd looks yet. Was this ... normal? Did students climb the walls quite a bit?
xxxxxWith a determined look she faced the wall and decided it was time to show the wall who was a boss. She was a humbaba behemoth jackdammit, not some puny little foxfire. Many of the behemoths in her tribe climbed clifs for fun. It was time.
xxxxxWith anger fueling her climb, she decided to push for it again. No wall was going to defeat Paige Winterlock.

"AaaAAGGGGGHHHAHglllll!" West said as the box sprung open and a squishy, clingy, facehugging menace jumped for him and hung on for dear life. This was far from the first time that something with tentacles had decided to make West its b***h, and it was surely not the last time either. He aimed his fists at the thing, not caring that he was also punching himself, but beyond the initial yell, he didn't make a sound. Getting out a satisfying scream was less important than keeping those tentacles far from his mouth, at least for the moment.
