The sun was beating down, keeping any resting Soq warm. Amira had just nibbled on some berries and had filled up with river water to help keep herself warm. When it was this hot, Amira generally spent time flying around, know that her flapping wings would keep her cooler. She really never tired of this routine, and would spend many hours just hovering and gliding through the sky.

Daphne glided down softly to the ground, her hooves touching down with a soft thud. She blinked brilliant purple eyes as she took in her surroundings, growing, if possible, even happier when she spotted a multi-colored stripped mare. Wondering briefly if she was imposing she cleared her throat. "Why, hello there!" She flicked her long braided tail and gave the mare a warm smile. "Beautiful day, isn't it?"

Amira lifted her head, thinking she had heard something. She thought again, and with how soft the noise was, she firgured it was nothing. She lowered her head to grab some more berries when she heard a voice. "Who was this?" she thought to herself, Nobody ever wanted to talk to her.
"Oh!" she replied, "Um, Hello." Amira turned to ready herself to walk away. She wasn't typically comfortable with meeting new mares or stallions, but that because of the way others had treated her growing up. "I was just about to leave," she said, "so you'll have the area to yourself"

Daphne grinned and shook her head. "Why would I want to have this lovely place all to my self when I could have company who can appreciate and enjoy it too?" HSe fluttered her wings delicatly at her sides and smiled. "No my dear, you should stay. Its a lovely day for company and the world is full of life." She gave the other mare a small nudge. "Tell me, what has been the highlight of your day so far?" She loved hearing the things others had enjoyed about the day. There were so many things to appreciate.

Amira grinned as the mare nudged her. She was enthralled that her presence was welcomed and encouraged. She finished the berries she had grabbed, and spoke after clearing her mouth. "Well, if you insist" she giggled.
"Today has been pretty typical. I spend a bit flying around, which is my normal morning routine." she added. "Thats about all that has happened, aside from this chance meeting." Amira had calmed down, and wasn't nervous about the mare anymore. Once she knew that the other wasn't judging her, she opened up so much more. At times, it just took longer than others.
"Oh, my name is Amira. I didn't catch yours." she finished.
